100% staying there again. Perfect location. Good price.
Loved the room, super private and comfortable. Super close to bourbon and everything else. Would come back.
We made a stay from Tuesday to Saturday. Booked a room nearly 8 months in advanced. We also had 2 other couples. The couple that stayed until Friday, had a huge balcony room. The remaining 4 of use were relegated to closet space on the first floor. We checked out Saturday. I understand that prices increase on weekends, as reflected on our bill. But we booked way in advanced, and find it a bit unfair to penalize us on our room because we didn't leave prior to Friday night,
First night one of the beds had not been changed and floors could be cleaner however would book again great location friendly staff
The look of this hotel is what I think of when I remember the french quarter--from the balconies to the location -it is a great way to experience New Orleans---however I feel it is for a younger type of person or a younger thinking individual--rooms are too tight for hanging out in ---it is for people who would be out and about all day and then back for drinks on the balcony in the evening-not for a business person or a student looking to get some work done--it is for those who come to town to have a wild time and still experience the feel of old time New Orleans
Easy check in, clean room, a bit small but you only here in New Orleans to have fun and not to be sitting at the hotel room. Pretty balcony with the street view. Very comfortable bed. 5 minutes walk to restaurants, bars, tourist district. Friendly staff. I would come back and stay again!
Clean, spacious with comfortable beds with accommodating staff. Parking is about four or five blocks away, but there is a loading bay. Great balcony for people watching, with a bar across the road. The only complaint is that the water in the tub/shower didn't drain well, so pooled, covering your feet while showering. That's a big thing for me, but maybe not for everyone. All in all, I'd stay again.
Close enough to all the fun but far enough not to be disturbed while needed to rest!
The best things about this hotel is that it is close to bourbon street. There was no refrigerator, no vending machine, the ice was down a long alley way and no microwave. Just poor!
Clean, just close enough to Bourbon but far enough to quiet the party two short blocks away. The room was old world charm the best they can. Staff was excellent.
Booked a King Deluxe Room.....The king bed fit. That was about it. Bathtub did not drain....For hours...... Room smelled......"out of control floral..." and was very "damp". Window did not open. Could not even open drapes. No air flow at all.....No light.......Staff was phenomenal!!! I loved them all! I booked the room for four nights....stayed one....lost all my money They were booked I believe so they were unable to accommodate another room. Which I understand fully! Bad accommodations but great staff with what they are dealing with!
Great staff - very helpful, nice wrap around balcony. Great location.
This was such a nice little stay we had here. We certainly made a good choice in booking this hotel. The staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating and the location was great. If I could change one thing it would be thicker windows. Because our room was close to the street, we could hear a great deal of what was going on outside. The good thing is, because it's not right in the midst of Bourbon St, the noise isn't too excessive so we didn't really lose much sleep over it. This hotel is right in the French Quarter, but on the outskirts a little. Everything within walking distance! Would I book again? Yep!
This is a nice cozy hotel in the French Quarter. The staff was very friendly and we were in walking distance to Bourbon street.
It was interesting.. although this has been the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. Very cute
Great location, great place. Clean and satisfying
Stayed here for a long weekend. I rented the suite as I enjoy extra space. The room was very charming and the suite was a good size!
This place has always been a staple for me. This is not a hotel if you are looking for tons of amenities, but if you are looking to feel like you are living in true New Orleans, this is where you want to stay! They have upgraded in recent years and the upgrades are excellent. So much charm. Can be noisy at times, but that is all part of "living in the Quarter." A must stay!
We loved staying here! It's just a short walk to Bourbon Street, but it's not crazy at night so we were able to get great rest.
