Riu Palace Paradise Island All Inclusive

This Riu has 15 floors and 3 elevators. Never had to wait long. Only 1 outside pool with a bar, but never overcrowded. Great food in the gourmet restaurants and the daily buffet. Staff was friendly and always helpful. We had some trouble with our in-room safe, and they serviced it immediately. They had to replace the circuit board. Entertainment was okay. Not nearly as great as the entertainment at the Riu in Negril, Jamaica.

Nice hotel, great location with incredible food. It was very windy during our stay but due to location we were able to enjoy Atlantis, Potters Cay and take water taxi to Nassau sights. It was absolutely lovely!

I liked this place, but I thought the Riu in Punta Cana was better. The staff was nice and friendly, and the rooms were okay, although on the last day, the noise from the air conditioner in our room was pretty bad. The food is what you would expect in general. There were some really good dishes, but some stinkers as well.

Hotel fine, not great but price is right and if you like the beach this is a great location.

Orbitz did not want to let me post my honest opinion they revised my comments more than 5 times. Just know I would not stay at this hotel ever and the service sucked!!' The water in the room stopped working and there are so many restrictions that they don't tell you before you get there.. so no waste your time!!

We had a very nice time have no complaints about anything

The hotel is in a good location in paradise island. has good beach. Food was very good. As usual got a corner room when booked thru orbitz facing the parking lot. Otherwise very good stay.

all round excellent..staff was great and friendky. great food!

We loved our stay, staff was friendly and food was delicious and plentiful.

Always a great stay. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Felicity, Lynn, Shay, Lenny, Keno, Trevor, Felicia, and SO many others. Sorry that I couldn't remember everyone. Can't wait to next year when hotel is completely remodeled.

Very relaxing, more then enough room to accommodate all guest. Lots to do. Very relaxing.

Fabulous location. Food was incredible. Activities were fun

Nice hotel, staff and pool. There are few things that need updates but overall a nice place and affordable! The feature restaurants need to be more available. Tough to get into the Bahama Steakhouse, finally got in on the 7th night there(Food was great). It was closed 3 nights out of the 7 nights. The pool and beach are very nice. The all-inclusive is nice but they should improve the 'top shelf' alcohol.

Great hotel right on the beach. Food was great. Hotel staff not that friendly. Beach was amazing.

This was by far the worst vacation I've ever been on and my husband felt the same. Our room was musty and the rugs were damp-the first person I spoke with at the front desk couldn't care less and told me to come back the next day and see if there was anything then. I went down the next day and the receptionist was much more pleasant and offered me two other rooms- both of which were equally as unacceptable. The "premium" liquor consistently of Jim Beam, Absolute, and Bacardi- that's it. The bartenders are too busy talking to each other to help you half the time and the other half- they don't listen when you order. I asked for something they were out of at one bar and was told to go try another- there was zero effort or desire to try and help. The hotel itself needs work. The pool is held together with zip ties. The volley ball net looks like it belongs to Eeyore or Charlie Brown. The sport bar charges per game of pool and air hockey doesn't work- there is nothing else to do there. Non-motorized water sports don't exist. The beach is nice, but be prepared to be hounded about buying things from locals. We were asked at least 100 times if we wanted to ride a jet ski. The food was ok, but 3 ppl in our party got sick, including my husband who lost an entire day and night to food poisoning and 24 hours of throwing up. The buffet food was pretty good, restaurants nothing special. Do NOT stay here. Spend your money elsewhere and you will be much happier.

elevators did not work. carpet in room was damp for the entire stay. front desk staff was unfriendly, the rest of the staff was very friendly. overall the complex needs an update compared to all the other Rius i have been to.

Staff at times could be a little rude.. otherwise, it's a nice place for what you pay..
