Staff was very nice and attentive. Buffet food was great! Never got bored with the selections, changed everyday. Bartenders were funny and interactive with guests. Plenty of beach chair space with umbrellas…staff set them up on demand.

Safety is the main concern! A jet ski rental service which does not belong to the hotel is located next to the small private beach of this hotel. i saw myself that a jet ski rider almost smashed two persons swimming inside the private swimming area. There were a few crews and guards around but they all did not do anything. And it was not a single incident - there were at least 3 jet ski riders violating the rules during next couple hours, and again, guards did not even react. If you are going to swim in ocean, be ready for the risk! This hotel has 4 restaurants, all requires reservations. The food was good but potions are really small. Bahamas only offers steaks with decent sizes. All other places should provide a magnifying glass... Thanks, Atlantis (a buffet), you did not allow to die from hunger. The bar Calisto is also a place for evening entertaining. Shows were decent, but sound was too loud and kind of destructed - the spectral range of the sound was limited, probably, because of room acoustics or bad equipment. And there was just one bartender in the bar who knows (or wanted to it correctly) how to make margaritas on rocks. Good things: my room was pretty clean, quite and well maintained. Shower was also good. The hotel has wide choice of trips and excursions. Guys on reception were nice and helpful.

This was the first time we stayed at RIU hotels. Hotel was in perfect location, right on the beach. Beach was amazing, clean, yellow sand. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and buffet was amazing. It was a challenge to book specialty restaurants. In 7 night 8 day stay we were only able to book restaurants twice.

My family of 3 enjoyed our stay here at Bahamas Hotel Rui Paradise Island. Our rooms were very clean daily, EVERY staff member that we encountered was friendly and did an amazing job. The food/selection was great and fresh everyday. There were absolutely no complaints from my family. We would definitely stay at this hotel again! I had an amazing stay at the RIU. The staff were so warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Also, the food was delicious. The alcoholic beverages were just okay, though. Nevertheless, the beach and pools were exceptional! My overall stay was a 10/10, and I will be back!

The Hotel is old. The majority of the staff is not friendly and act inconvenienced. During our stay they were working on the outside of the building and it was loud, blowing paint chips everywhere, just a real mess. There was also a great deal of pot smoking happening.

Room was excellent ocean view and pool view spotlessly clean excellent we loved the shower enjoyed the breakfast lunch and dinner we ate mostly at the buffet nightly Which was great .Soups were good would had the chicken noodle soup every night but u had it only one night even thought o had the other soups nightly. Except fish The staff is excellent especially i enjoy seeing the older gentlemen been there since we started coming cant remeber his name but welcomes us like we are family when u opened we come everyyr same time and we come because of the service and staff We saw the reno the front wall down and we come back because of the people that work for u Thank u see u next yr

Room is basic, mattress is quite soft. There were no robes in the room, however provided upon request. Nice and friendly staff.

We didn't have hot water during our stay and the bed was like sleeping on a rock. The staff and food selecrion were fantastic.
