This was the first time we stayed at RIU hotels. Hotel was in perfect location, right on the beach. Beach was amazing, clean, yellow sand. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and buffet was amazing. It was a challenge to book specialty restaurants. In 7 night 8 day stay we were only able to book restaurants twice.

Staff was courteous. Took dirty towels and didn’t leave clean. Had to ask. Doorstop was broken off and screw sticking out. Asked to replace. They were scraping outside of building and paint chips were all over the balcony.

I love anything about the RIU hotel. Very clean, staff are very supportive and friendly, transportation was well organized. I would love to come back and there was nothing bad to say. Love Bahamas and thank you Hotel RIU paradise island for making a great stay for me and my wife.

I didnt like the humidity of the hotel. The bathrooms get super humid and the room felt damp all the time. I did like the layout of the lobby and restaurants. The staff was pretty good as well.

Super close to the beach, rooms were nice and resort was pretty. Staff seem unfriendly at times; had better experience with the locals and taxi people. No one told us they don’t serve lunch although it is all inclusive. Also have to reserve at the other restaurants in the hotel which no one told us about, so we only ate at 1. Overall very nice and would go back.
