Everyone was nice and polite

Well I searched everywhere for an oceanfront room. I chose your hotel because I found an oceanfront room. Needless to say, I got an angled ocean view room... even after paying the additional money to ensure I got the room I reserved on this site. Wasn’t very happy. Also since I didn’t have an oceanfront room I had to listen to the radio playing down by the pool. I couldn’t even hear my TV unless I closed my patio door. I wasn’t please with having the radio at full sound from 9 am until the evening. I was on the 8th floor and had no peace

We enjoyed our stay and the check in and out was excellent. Was not expecting to have to put a 100.00 deposit down but didn't have a choice. Would use again

Stay far far away from this property!! I repeat, stay away from this property. This property is infested with bedbugs. Stayed 3 nights and woke up 2 nights with multiple bites all over arms, face and upper body. After letting the front desk know, they did absolutely nothing about it.

It was a little weird to see a kitchen in the room. Plus, not all the rooms were patronized by the customer. And I know this, because some locks at the room's doors were sliding card key and others were with cylinders ..

Everything was nice. Can’t pick just one. Just wish u had a indoor pool that was just indoors instead of it being in and out at the same time

Staff nice. Unfortunately the hot tubs andnorthside pool were closed down undergoing repair.i have stsyed here before and had a very nice room. this time i was a little disappointed.

The pictures looked great on the website and we were so excited to get there. The staff in the lobby were nice. However, as we took the elevator up to our floor we instantly smelled something like pot and sweat. The “lobby” area of our floor was very weird and run down looking. We got to our room and instantly knew we made a terrible decision with this hotel. The room smelled terrible, it looked like it was last decorated in the 50’s not at all what the pictures looked like. We did not put anything on the floor and got out of there the moment we woke up. Could not have been happier to get out of there. Absolutely disgusting. Only positive thing was the view but that was overshadowed by the most disgusting run down room I’ve ever seen. Do not stay here.

Much older hotel and dirty hallways and foyer. Smells unpleasant. Bar area dirty.

Normally, not a complainer, but when you pay almost $500 for a 2 night stay, you expect a littlw bit. Hotel wasn't bad, but here's a break down: 1. The elevator was an issue They were working on one, which had the wait for the elevators sometimes at 30 minutes or you could climb the stairs. I understand maintenance on things, but I feel a caution would have saved many guests and employees a lot of frustration. 2. Most of the hotel staff came off very rude. Like they didn't want to be working. However, Terrance was amazing. He was the main reason I didn't list off all the conplaints. He was very understanding and sweet. 3. Phone in room kept randomly ringing. We just unplugged it. Fire detector was beeping, but maintenance fixed it. Balcony was smaller than imagined. But all in all, room wasn't bad. 4. Due to the elevator issue, my son and I made it to breakfast 5 minutes late. Lady wouldn't allow us to get our free breakfast we received for refusing full housekeeping. 5. Pools and hot tubs were not available the while time. Labor day weekend should be ready and have all amenities in shape for over $200 a night stay. Ended up staying our last night in another hotel cheaper with better amenities. Tried to extend our stay with the Palace, but the front desk didn't make that sound welcoming. Seemed more like a pain and inconvenience.

I and my girlfriend could never forget our nights spending at The Palace. The bed sheet was full of dust and various black dot which cuz us itching

We booked this last minute for 4 days. Everything was great!! No indoor pool, but weather was perfect for amenities outside.

Hotel room needed to be updated but was very cozy and comfortable.

Room needs to be updated and hotel seems to be a little old but very cozy. I didn't want to leave.

First room w/view was very dirty so staff promised a major clean in am because no rooms to move us that night. Next day stayed away from room all day to get cleaned and returned to dirty and unclean room again. Front desk moved us to another room with less of a view (disappointing) and that room was also dirty. I spent 2 evenings cleaning with Soft Scrub and cleaning scrounge I bought! Had to ask for vacuum to be done after 3 days of an 8-day stay. The 2nd room smelled bad enough we had to use a Febreze spray each time entering. Honeymoon not as glamour as hoped.

We had a great stay the Palace Hotel. Breakfast awesome every morning. I recommend the potatoes, lots and lots of potatoes. The staff were extremely nice. We didn't need room service everyday, but they made sure we had everything we needed. Great location to the beach.

I was a Lil worried about this hotel after I read some of the reviews but I went there with a positive attitude and everything was just what I expected. The staff was friendly, check in was a breeze. The room looked exactly like the photos and smelled nice and clean as soon as I walked in the door. The hotel was very quiet, all the elevators worked, and parking was no issue. I had free breakfast for two days but only used one day just because I wanted to try something different. The breakfast was what I expected. I could tell this was an older hotel but it has been kept up very well. The view from my oceanfront sun suite was awesome. My only complaint is the balcony is tiny. Luckily there was only two of us. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice oceanfront room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem we encountered was there are only 3 elevators. With 23 or so floors and that many people it is not enough. There were lines to the elevator regularly around dinner time. People coming in and going out. Upon check out we waited approx. 30 minutes on an elevator. Finally we gave up and toted all our stuff down the steps. We also could not get a cart for our stuff after waiting 45 minutes for one. We were told that people take them in their rooms and keep them. With that many people there should be more elevators and more luggage carts. Luggage carts should not be allowed in the rooms so they would be on a first come first served basis.
