My boyfriend and I just stayed at Hotel Europa for five nights and definitely recommend! Very clean rooms, good service, and a wonderful breakfast to start each day. Nice, safe location just a bit outside the city center with easy accessibility to tram and not far from train station. We also used the garage to park for a reasonable rate. Full grocery market just down the block and a discount grocer across the street (Lidl) are very convenient. Nice to have lobby bar and restaurant when returning at the end of the day. Would stay at this hotel again!

We visited oktoberfest 2017 n stayed at this place.rooms are pretty decent and just 5 min walk to oktoberfest venue so that u dont have to think abt reaching hotel after drinking beer.only issue is if ur early sleeping guy then it can disturb ur sleep at 10.30 when beer tents close and heaps of people on roads

We did enjoy our stay at Hotel Europa! This hotel is located in a good location where many places are close by such as the supermarket, the tram/S-Bahn/U-Bahn station, cafes. etc. In fact, it's very convenient to travel from here to any places to the Munich area with a daily pass and/or 3-day pass. We were there during Oktoberfest and it met our expectations! The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi was good as well as the hotel's amenities. And, breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food and drinks. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again if we get to visit Munich in the near future. Thank you.

After years of paying exorbitant prices for good hotels in Munich we decided to widen the net a little this year and look for something new. This hotel is an extra 10 minute walk from the Hauptbanhof in the opposite direction from the Oktoberfest, its not far from the Lowenbrauhause, but still manageable without being a drag, or just a 10 euro cab ride. It has underground parking for a small extra charge and the rooms were a reasonable size and comfortable. A good proper breakfast bar is well worth the additional cost. Perfectly acceptable for our group and half the price of the Sofitel !

We stayed at this hotel in early October 2017. In general, our stay was very good! the hotel is near a tram line, or about 30 minute walk to downtown. Breakfast was very filling and fresh. There was quite a bit of street noise if you opened the window, but it did not bother us (we live on a busy street at home too). One down side was housekeeping--they were...too good. I left some plastic bags for packing shoes and prescription boxes for liquids on the floor next to my suitcase. The day before we left, the empty bags and prescription boxes disappeared. This meant I had to check my medications in my suitcase instead of taking them with me in my carry-on (the size of the bottles is over the TSA limit, and without the box with my name and address, can not bring them into the cabin). Super unnerving, and put a big damper at the end of what was otherwise a wonderful trip. The box has my personal information on it (name, address). I don't know who has it now, and it makes me uncomfortable to think someone has access to my personal details. Please don't remove what isn't in a trash can! Also, I checked for the box around the room, in closets and drawers, and under the bed. I didn't find my box, but I did find a pair of men's boxer briefs left behind by a previous guest. YIKES.

This hotel is reasonably priced compared to many in Munich. It is a little way out of the centre, some 20 minutes walk even at a quick pace. However, the hotel is great, the staff are very helpful, the rooms are modern, clean and have all you need. The breakfasts are plentiful and of a good standard. The restaurant is good. Had two evening meals there and on both occasions we all were very pleased with the choice and the meal itself. Would recommend hotel but if you find walking a problem then it may be a bit too far from the centre.

well located for business or a short visit to the city of munich - subway close by clean room good bathroom and breakfast with sufficient vegetarian choices. happy with the stay - nothing special but very convenient

Hotel is handily placed 30 minutes walk from the city centre & near the Lowenbrauhaus. Very efficient staff. Excellent breakfasts. Pleasant airy inside & outside rest areas. Well laid out adequately spacious rooms.

We stayed while in town for Octoberfest and it was perfect for what we needed. Close to the train and helpful staff to assist with directions. We found a reasonable rate (about 150 Euros), less than half the price of our similar hotel room in Berlin just preceding. (I think it was on Kayak or Expedia.) The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were sparking clean. The free breakfast was extensive, though not to my taste. ATM, drugstore and coffee/snack shop very nearby and several restaurants are in walking distance. We'd stay again and recommend it.

Check-in was easy and efficient. Our room was overlooking the garden at the back of the hotel so there was no road traffic. The hotel does not inspire from the frontage but this is a hidden gem. Our twin room was immaculately clean. The beds comfortable and the room was adequately furnished. The bathroom was a good size and we had a shower which could beat you or be gentle on your skin! The bathroom was well maintained and again spotless. Slight criticism.......Why do hotels put hairdryers in bathrooms?? You have a shower and wash your hair and struggle to dry it as the bathroom mirror is steamed up! Please put hairdryers in the bedroom near a mirror. Breakfast is buffet style and absolutely delicious. There was everything you could want and more. Everything was fresh and plenty of it. All the staff are delightful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I stayed with my daughter and we were very well looked after. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. We were there with friends for Oktoberfest so prices were high, as they are everywhere in Munich at this time of year. There are trams which run regularly into the centre of the city and stop almost outside the hotel and the hotel will order taxis.
