Withing walking distance to the train, oktoberfest, and the downtown area. the hotel was nice and clean and pretty quiet (even with oktoberfest going on). the hotel staff were very nice and helpful with finding things to do and places to eat.

Excellent service, cleanliness and friendly staff. The location is convenient and close to the city center. Safe and right across of the main rail station.

Good swimming pool, spacious rooms, good service. Pretty close to major Munich attractions.

Excellent location and very confortable from this Hotel

The air conditioner seemed to not work well during the night, the room got warm. Location was good during Octoberfest activities, convenient to the train station and about a 20 minute walk to Old Towne. Charges an up charge when they made reservations for train, taxi ,etc.

It was beautiful from head to toe. Location perfect. Shopping, strip clubs...sites...you name it...all close. Right across the street from the bahnhof. The price was well worth it from the lobby to the room. The staff was very helpful. I visited the spa area and didn't get to see the masseuse but the pool area is beautiful. Unfortunately the jacuzzi/hot tub is not only small, (3 cpls comfortably) but it isn't very hot either. Food was AMAZING!!! I had the duck and my friend had the steak. Breakfast equally amazing.

Good location, but very baby staff Only one additional bad in the room

Beautiful hotel, close to city center, main train station and octoberfest festivities. Room was huge for European standards, clean, comfortable and quiet (we were facing the inner courtyard). Friendly staff even a pool.

The hotel staff was very accomodating and in a great location for us to access the trains to visit other areas of interest. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed here for Octoberfest, It was close enough to walk and we had a great time. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 was because the hot tub wasn't hot either day we went and the beds were only okay. It was a great location, easy to walk to Marienplatz, the downtown shopping area and lots of restaurants or easy to jump on the S Bahn, their subway, to get almost anywhere. The train station is the main hub for their subway system. This hotel is right across from the main train station. Lots of food nearby, and easy to get to and from the airport. Also they rent cars at the train station if you want to try your hand on their freeways (if you do get a car with navigation, it really helps and shows the speed limit which isn't always posted and also when there isn't one! Yay. Just don't pass on the right, it is a huge no-no and very unsafe.)

Great hotel with nice staff. However, if you need internet access, be prepared to spend an additional 19Euros a DAY.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien Munich! The location right across the street from the central train station was beyond convenient,. We arrived back to Munich on the late side after some of our day trips, and we felt perfectly safe walking from the train to the hotel even though the hour was rather late. The hotel was within walking distance of old town, and there were plenty of places to grab a bite to eat near the hotel and in the train station as well. We chose this hotel because it was air conditioned, which allowed us to be comfortable without opening the windows and having to listen to street noise all night. The room itself was beautiful, and extremely comfortable, although it would have been nice to have a second chair to relax in. One of us always had to sit on the bed, which got old. The room was very large, especially by European standards, and clean as a whistle with great maid service. We didn't end up using the pool/spa, but did look it over, and it seemed quite nice. The hotel staff was pleasant and eager to help, and the concierges were especially helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is across from Munich's Central Railstation. It is easy transportation to and from the airport. Marienplatz is an easy walk and very accessible for dinners and shopping. Third time staying in this hotel. Prices are reasonable if booked online.

Located directly across the street from both the main train station on one side, and strip clubs and sexshops on the other, this is a very nice business hotel that might be just fine for passing through town but is wholly lacking as a destination. Flanked on all sides by a seemingly endless red light district and down the street from many youth hostels, you will be literally surrounded by rowdy drunken fratboys of all ages from the UK, Italy, and Russia. To be avoided, unless binge drinking is high on your list.

It's right across from the main train station, a short walk to everything, and is a great upscale hotel without being stuffy. As we were in Munich in January, the hot tub and indoor pool were both very nice after sightseeing all day in the snow!! The concierge is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations on tours, restaurants, etc. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. We were thrilled to have an almost average size room as we would get at a hotel in the U.S., which is unexpected in Europe! Wonderful!

The hotel is in an excellent location-a 5 min walk to a vibrant train station. You can easily get to/from the airport and to many historical sights. Also, the station is a great place to eat/shop. Although the room was very clean, I was disappointed that the housekeeping entered my room repeatedly while I had the Do Not Disturb sign posted. There is no excuse for this. I reported this to the front desk and felt certain that they followed through, but still the HK staff entered. I was surprised that Le Meridien-Munich is listed as a 5 star hotel. There are few amenities, the lighting is poor, the bed was very hard, and wireless internet is not available in the room. However, the room was clean, and that is the most important. I would stay there again.

across the street from train station. Starbucks in train station. Newer than the luxury hotel across the street--which is also across the street

This hotel is really in a perfect location for all of the Oktoberfest festivities. The staff is friendly and courteous and the hotel is clean and fun. The bar itself is a bit pricey (30 euros for 2 glasses of white wine and a bottle of water). Book early cause it gets very expensive!!!

Good location and the rooms were a reasonable size and clean / neat. The restaurant was particularly good. Negatives were Internet access (only at a cost and wireless coverage was poor)and were relatively expensive for what was provided. We had two rooms for three nights as part of a two week vacation in Europe.

Saw almost all the city in three days! the Hop on hop off tour gives you a great perpective of the area and what to see and what not to waste your time on
