It's just a lovely place. It's quiet, it's charming, it's boutique, it's just wonderful. The room is not especially large, but it is furnished in a classic, lovely way. The bathroom was well appointed. The contents of the mini-bar are free. The wifi and cable are excellent. The breakfast buffet was tasty and well presented, and the breakfast room was quiet, with lovely Christmas carols playing in the background, and amaryllis floral arrangements on the table. It was just in all respects a jewel.

A classy hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful location but not too far from places to go/see ! Our room was spotless as was the hotel. Lovely little touches were dotted about, plus dressing gowns and slippers available in your bathroom. Also a free mini bar with a daily refill. Room service is a little pricey as most hotels of this standard but the food and attention to detail was exquisite!!

Having stayed many times in very centrally based Munich hotels which were all ideal, it was a delight to stay in this hotel which is in a very affluent area of the city yet only a 15 minute walk from the centre - close to 2 underground stations and a very regular bus service. Staff are all very welcoming and they manage to give this hotel a feeling of old time luxury - yet in a relatively contemporary setting. We stayed in December last year too and the hotel has had a significant investment during this time with new TVs etc. Hotel offers a nightly turn down service .. complete with a Christmas tree which arrived on 1 December. It's charming - but with everything you need from a 21 century hotel in a major city.

This is a high quality small hotel located in a lovely residential neighbourhood. Our junior suite was well appointed with a nice bath tub and soft towels. Upon arrival there was a complimentary fruit bowl with yummy pastries as well as a bottle of still water. Did I mention that the mini bar is free?? We had a nice continental breakfast delivered to our room. Somewhat pricey but similar to other high end hotels. The staff was very helpful and ordered a taxi to take us to the city centre. A great place to stay in Munich.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel. It is about 1.5 mile walk across the Isar River to the Marienplatz (the market square that is the heart of old Munich). For farther locations (the BMW Museum, the central train station), it was a .3 mile walk to a subway (U) station, and we found the system easy to negotiate. The benefits of being away from the center are a quieter location, with plenty of good (non-touristy) restaurants and cafes. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful (e.g. setting up a tour, providing directions, calling a taxi). The room, while not large, was spotless and well-appointed. We imagine the garden would be lovely in warmer months, We felt the breakfast buffet at 33Euro was over-priced, so we went out to one of the neighborhood cafes each morning instead. One more note about the location. There is just no easy way to get to the airport via public transportation. It involves at least one transfer (bus to suburban train). We opted for a taxi, which was 69Euros.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband, brother and sis in law for 2 nights. This hotel not big but very comfortable. The service is very good from the receptionist, concierge, restaurant etc. The room is not big but very clean and the bed is very comfortable. This hotel has small garden at the back near the cafe. Around the hotel not too much cafe/restaurant, but we tried a very good Indian restaurant near the hotel as the receptionist suggested to us. If you want to Marienplatz from this hotel around 30 minutes by walk. Marienplatz is a central square in Munchen which very attractive to tourists. You can find cafes and shops around Marienplatz. We enjoyed our trip to Munchen and recommended this hotel to stay if you are looking the comfortable hotel.

If you would like to stay out of Munich city center this is a great choice. It is steps away from the great Karen Schaenke restaurant too. The rooms are luxury. You will get a great sleep in the awesome bedding. The shower and bathrooms are spacious with a nice waterfall shower. Service is excellent.

I travel much and here, from the first minute, you know you are in a special and beautiful place. Everything is right: the decoration, the bed, the bathroom, the flowers, the free minibar. The staff makes you feel special. The room has its own balcony overlooking a small, nice garden. You are in the lap of luxury.

We loved this hotel. The welcoming and warm staff, our lovely room, superior linens and delicious treats all added up to an experience I will likely repeat. Wonderful neighborhood just far enough from the intense city center but walkable to many places, and yet very quiet. Excellent bar and restaurant. A home away from home with great service.

We found this hotel on Tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed at all. When we arrived to Munich, it was early morning. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, and when we got there we thought we going to have to check our luggage and start our day, but to our surprise, our room was ready, so we were able to freshen up and get our things in order, then we hit the town. When we returned to the room after a busy day in Munich, our room was turned down, and there was a tray of strawberries covered in chocolate. Soooo good. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, answered all our questions, and gave us directions everywhere we wanted to go.
