The hotel is near the airport so practical, especially for early morning departures. Unfortunately it smelled very strongly of paint, as the hotel is being remodeled. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, but it’s not fair to clients to subject us to such sting fumes. I won’t reserve here again unless I know that the renovations are finished.
This is a yearly stop for me and this property has been Updated over the last couple years. Friendly staff with easy access to highway. Quiet rooms. Great Indian restaurant within walking distance. Nice area close to airport
Currently under renovations, so it's a little painful right now (I got there at 1am, and was locked out because the reception is in a standard room and it was locked while the person stepped away). The renovated rooms are okay (as expected for Comfort Inn). If you just need a few hours sleep, a fine choice. Be aware that it is $17CAN from airport to hotel even though it is less than a mile.
This place is under renovation. VERY surprised they are open based on the quality and availability of services at this hotel. Front desk is currently working out of a guest room however there is no signage directing guests checking in on where to go. Hallways are torn up from floor to ceiling. Building is half painted and appears somewhat derelict. Surprised they are accepting guests in a hotel in such poor condition.
This hotel photo is very misleading - there currently is no lobby and the entire front of the hotel is inaccessible due to construction. Construction materials and trucks fill the parking lot. room numbers are printed on paper stuck with tape to room doors. No phones in room, no way to contact "front desk" which is a hotel room. My room was infested with ants. this hotel should not be open and it definitely should not be charging full rates.
Our stay included the nights of July 1, 2, and 3, 2017. *We booked the room through Priceline via an "Express Deal," wherein you don't know which hotel you're getting until after you pay. Had we known Priceline would put us in a hotel that was undergoing major renovations we wouldn't have booked it, but that's a mark against Priceline for shady practices, not any fault of the hotel.* The hotel itself, in spite of being under renovations, was reasonably clean and nothing was amiss in our room. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected given this is a budget hotel. THE SERVICE, WHILE PLEASANT FROM THE FRONT DESK STAFF, WAS FLAT OUT RUINED BY THE SOUR ATTITUDE OF THE BREAKFAST ATTENDANT. Our first interaction with her consisted of asking a question, to which her response was "That's not my job." Subsequent encounters included her stomping around the breakfast room angrily wiping tables, pushing people out of the way to replenish supplies, cursing under her breath at my daughter who apparently poured her orange juice in some unsatisfactory way, scolding another guest for using the wrong coffee carafe to fill his travel mug, and so on. I was actually a bit relieved to see her being so rude to other guests, as I thought at first that we had offended her somehow. But no, she's just a miserable person who shouldn't be working with the public. It would do the hotel a world of good to hide her in the basement.
This Hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment which should be completed by the end of June 2017. I really enjoyed my one night stay - the staff was very polite and helpful and the buffet breakfast (included) was plentiful. My room was large and clean and I'm sure the rooms will be even nicer once they have been refurbished. The only negative was the a/c that was a bit loud which is usually the case with the window mounted units. The free Hotel shuttle will take you to the airport in less than 10 minutes. Definitely worth a try.
Not a fancy hotel but the location is very close to the airport. It is under renovation right now and I expect it to be better once the reno is complete. Decent hotel for the price you pay. Breakfast is included.
I needed a pet friendly hotel near Montreal airport and this hotel ended up being exactly what I needed. No frills, but clean (my room was vacuumed and cleaned daily), very friendly staff and quiet a good breakfast in an improvised dinning room. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations which will make a big difference. I would definitely stay there again if I needed to stay close to the airport.
Nice modern rooms with good amenities, location is fine, breakfast was kind of whack, but fine, suitable for my stay, but I expected it to be better. Good hotel for a one/two/three-night stay. But really, it's nothing special. Not a great value for money.
