Traveled to Monterrey to attend the Dodger vs Padres series. Landed very early on May 4th. I was able to check in early. Great service, good location. Karen from the front desk was especially pleasant, helpful, and accomodating.
I gave my feedback directly to the hotel, they did not hear my concerns. The only two good channels are CNN and Fox News, the rest are cartoons and a local news channel. The gym only has aerobic machines, the weight are so heavy only the top 1% bodybuilders can use them. It does not have a bar and deeps equipment nor a universal machine for weightlifting.
We made a family trip with intentions of watching the cross town rivalry between Tigres and Rayados. The hotel is a little tough to access due to offset intersection. Hotel has ample free parking in back which was great. The lobby is is modern with nice restaurant and bar. There is no free breakfast buffet. Front desk was very helpful and courteous with all our questions. Double bed room situated on 8th floor facing west with incredible views. Room was very clean and so was bathroom. Large room accommodated myself, wife, and children with ease. Beds were comfortable. Only concern that was out of hotel control was freight train that rolled by around 3 or 4 am. The conductor blew horn extensively and sounded like train was coming through room. Will be difficult to sleep through if light sleeper. Overall, expect typical/respected Marriot experience. Will stay again because of price and location.
The Courtyard Marriott San Jeronimo was just what I expected. Clean room, courteous staff and no issues. Stayed at this Courtyard for three days while visiting Monterrey. The city center was a quick 10 minute drive away. The only observation I had of something out of the ordinary was a loud train that passed nearby but I only heard when I had the room windows slightly opened. It really didn’t bother me. I will definitely use the Courtyard San Jeronimo again if I am ever back in Monterrey.
Thank you for all your staff, just feel at home at the moment arrived to the hotel; great place to stay and the location just fantastic. Within 10/15 minutes malls-restaurants and access to all mayor avenues to get you for business or leisure
As is typical with most Courtyards, the service, beds and room in general are very good., However, there are two things that caused any grief. One was the nearby train that ran near the hotel at between3:30 and 4:30am blowing its horn and the other was the volume of the air conditioning unit. If you are a light sleeper then these two items may cause you to rethink your choice. If not, they this is a great place. It's near the large mall (Galerias) and close to downtown.
This is a very convenient Marriott location, you will be very close to some of the best restaurants in town (La Nacional and Oriental Grill). Parking is free and you can open the gate with your Marriott key card.
Great staff, Keren at the front desk and Fernando at the Bar are exceptional. Keren & Fernando offered the type of customer service expected at the Ritz or Four Seasons. Excellent location near major neighborhood & great Mountain View
Very good service, after our activities we rested. We made use of the private parking lot. We arrived tired from the trip and with thirst, in the lobby we needed fresh water, tea or coffee. Marriott Rewards points did not accrue to our account 365 852 557
This was by far one of the safest, clean, the area was so peaceful yet there is a lot to do in the surrounding area, Restaurant was super clean as well as room and food was delish. Will defiantly stay here every time I visit the city.
