The location is shady. The hotel is run down. The room was old. If the only problem was the room was outdated and old, we would have stayed for just the 1 night we booked on our way to Pensacola. But the hotel was old and not kept up. It smelled horrible and the shower was full of mold. The room was so dirty I felt like I needed a shower after just walking in. After walking in & seeing the room, we immediately went back to the front desk to get a refund & find another hotel. We spoke with the manager & he would not give us a refund & wanted to switch us to another room. We had to argue with him for 20 minutes and he kept telling us that nothing was wrong with the room and we would pay more at another hotel. We told him we didn't care, we were not staying there. Finally he agreed to refund our money.
We used booking.com to reserve the room online. We were traveling to FL and just needed a place to rest one night. The room was advertised as a non-smoking room but smelled so badly of smoke that our clothes and hair smelled like smoke just from being in the room. There were burn holes in the bedding, a ripped shower curtain, hair in the sink, and the carpet was filthy. We stayed years ago at a Days Inn in Burleson, TX and while this experience wasn't as bad as that one, we will not be using Days Inn ever again.
There was a car air freshener hanging from the smoke detector!!!! The pictures of the room were NOT what the rooms look like. My room smelled terrible. The furniture and light fixtures were very old. The tub was filthy. I could see this as a $40 motel room. But NOT worth the $70 I spent.
I was looking for a last minute cheap place to stay and this was it. The service was nice, the employees were friendly, but the place is rundown.
It was an awesome experience everybody was so here to please to do anything that I asked to ensure my stay was very enjoyable even though I was there working
Booked room on booking.com when arrived at hotel clerk was unable to find booked room in the system therefore having to give me a different room & continued to book others to the same room. The other guest had key access to our room and on top of that upon arriving home checked my debit card transactions & was charged twice for three room.. immediately I called 2 get the issue resolved but the customer service was very rude argued me down & hung up in my face
We were welcomed and treated great by the check in staff. Our room was in great need of repair. The ceiling was water stained, the mattress was stained, the bathroom floor and behind the door needed to be cleaned. The internet service was poor. Very slow. Worst was the breakfast. Very little food. When another customer asked a couple of workers in the area if there was breakfast, they stated "this is it unless you want milk or yogurt!" We sure did. They went to a fridge in an adjacent area and proceeded to get these two things out . This place gives a bad name to your business and the Wyndham name....
Rooms definitely need to be redone! 1 hard bed, 1 soft. Smoking room, but hotels don't provide ashtrays. Coffee, no coffee pots. Ironing board, no iron. Toilet seat almost coming off. Toilet loose from wall. Hair ball behind door of bathroom. Black marks on sheets.
No one at the desk when we arrived, waited 5 minutes, non-smoking room wreaked of stale smoke, room was filthy, pool was dirty!
I arrived at around 3:00 p.m. I was not feeling well and simply wanted to rest. The building did not meet my expectations. The bedding did not appear to be very clean. I listened to loud noises from my time of arrival until after 10 p.m., because my room was right beside the pool area. I could hear people running up stairs for hours on end. I did not feel that this was a safe place to stay, that caused me to not be able to sleep. I was simply ready to leave and get to the cleanliness and safety of my own home. This was the most disappointing stay that I've ever experienced.
