A lot of reviews mention the lack of phone and terrible breakfast but I couldn't get past the filth outside and inside. Rusted stairs, dust and dirt coat the outside, pool was scary. Inside there were layers of dirt caked into the ac unit, lamps were rusted and broken, repaired walls with different colored paint, dirty stained bath tub, something red dripped all over one wall behind the bed. Even for a night to sleep this place was awful. I can't believe this is a Wyndham property. Pretty much turned me off from all Wyndham properties.
This was ok for overnight stay. Internet kept logging off. Obviously needs room remodel repairs & general with mold smell. Sheet rock wall damage apparent someone fell into, making large broken dent, as well as others have previously ripped fixtures out. All was replaced seems temporary fixes. Still felt safe & secure.
This hotel is grotesque at best. It was disgusting, no toilet paper on the roll with trash on the ground. Dirt and hair all over the bathroom. The first room had blood splattered on the mirror and on the tables. We were swapped rooms, which was equally terrible. There were people everywhere, looking in windows of hotel rooms, running around and being loud, as well as drugs in the parking lot. We left the hotel and told the front desk attendant that we would not be staying. The next day we contacted the manager who stated that since we stayed longer than 30 minutes, we would not be receiving a refund. Asked to speak to the general manager and she apparently no longer knew his name, contact information, or when he would be present. STAY AWAY!!
I was driving alone from a camping trip in Texas on my way home to Florida and all I needed was a quick night's sleep and a shower in the morning. I didn't get a good look at the first room that I turned down. The smell of mold hit me so hard when I opened the door - well, that's as far as I got. I asked for different room and the woman offered me a newly "renovated" room. Not much better as far as smell, but this one smelled like mold and Lysol (maybe Lysol was the renovation) and it was late and I was exhausted after driving by myself almost 650 miles. Mold on the door, cigarette burns in my smelly non-smoking room, no knob to turn on the shower, used soaps left behind, mold growing on the wooden legs of the wooden coffee table. Trust me, in the picture, it's powder mold and smelled like a recently flooded basement. I slept for five hours in my clothes on top of the blankets - should have just slept in the car. Didn't shower because I couldn't turn on the water! The guy at the front desk was too busy to help me - someone else was busy complaining about something so I got out of there. I called from the road and got some manager who said that I should have had no problem, #314 is a renovated room. I disagreed and she disagreed right back at me. I don't like writing bad reviews. Anyone can make a mistake, but when they don't care, then I don't want to see the next person experiencing what I experienced. Don't believe the pictures. Should have just sleep in my car.
In the shortest way to say,............. If you need a place for your prostitution purchase or get together for your next FIX (High), THEN DAYS INN IS YOUR PLACE OF SIN!!
The place was a bed to sleep before the next days adventure. The room had no phone...the ice machines were all broken. The pool was milky white. The people were super friendly and the price was great for just being a place to sleep.
This weekend was the worst stay I've ever had. The tub was nasty, it was only one trash can in the entire room, towels looked nasty, and internet wasn't picking up.
My wife and I took a weekend vacation to run away from home. We found a deal on a Days Inn property in Theodore Alabama not far from our home in Mobile and really enjoyed it. We will be coming back.
I'm not a hotel snob at all. I see t as just a place to lay my head but this hotel is not worth the $50 I spent on it. Smells gross, gross beds, stained tub and sinks! I personally didn't have an issue with the staff but I witnessed two different staff members being rude to other guest.
I had to grab blankets from my truck to lay on the bed, stained sheets in multiple colors, i honestly stayed a total of 5 hour just enough to get a nap in checked out and got on the road... i will never stay in a days inn again
