The room was cold because the window was drafty. Cleaning wasn't done daily (we stayed two nights). There was a strong unpleasant odor in the room (the room wasn't ventilated). We weren't told that breakfast ends at 9 a.m. on weekdays. The breakfast quality was below average; it's better to have breakfast in town.

We were told to call around 11 for early checkin. We tried for over 2 hours with no answer, so ended up getting ready for a wedding in the lobby bathroom. Once we were able to check in, 1 of the keys didnt work. The other did, however there was already soemone in the room!! Saw all of thier belongings and immediately left. Went back down to the desk and got a new room. All was well, until 1 am when door dashers started knocking, and then came back knocking again. This I know isnt necessarily a La Quinta issue. For some reason the alarm was set for 6 am. So that was an unexpected and unpleasant siren in our room. There were some maintenance issues with the shower, however was still usable. Breakfast was decent, but not enough to make us stay ever again.
