The hotel has an infestation of drain flies. The facility needs to have a professional exterminator come regularly to spray and get rid of that issue. I had to get rid of several of those drain files, a few spiders and a roach.

An older property. Easy check-in and check out. A little harder to find as it is tucked between restaurants. No parking on site, but there is a parking garage a block away. The room was nice and clean with a small ocean view. Hallways in the secondary building smelled mildewy. The room was conveniently located near the beach and numerous restaurants. There was loud music past 2 am.

I really liked Hotel Ocean because it was convinient to walk to restaurants and also to the beach. The location is excellent. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The hotel has great service, they had a bottle of champagne for us for our visit. I will come back to this hotel in the future. It is great!

Avoid at all costs – filthy, unsafe, and dishonest This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was disgusting—dirty, poorly maintained, with mold in multiple areas, stained sheets, and bed bugs. Loud music blared all night, making it impossible to sleep. We were so disturbed by the conditions that we had no choice but to check out early. We were promised a refund for the remaining nights but have yet to receive it. To make matters worse, when I asked for a manager, Dafne at the front desk flat-out refused to provide contact information and claimed no manager was available. I have photos to prove everything and am shocked that this place is still operating. Absolutely unacceptable.

The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it.. but they dont have a working contact number like a phone which is a must they dont have a phone so if you are trying to reach them before you arrive no one will ever answer the phone and the same after you leave .. the staff are not helpful at all beside that they dont speak english so communication is very little.. for room service you have to call them every hour to remind them for what you asked for and it will come after some time as they have few staff

On May 8, 2025, I made a reservation to stay one night in your hotel via Expedia. I requested a room with ocean view and a balcony. Mightily costly if I may add. Unfortunately, the room with the ocean view was more like a room with a view to a roof. The room was on the fourth floor and the ocean view was totally obstructed by the roof in front of us. The only way to see a bit the ocean was by standing in the left corner of the balcony. If we sat down all we could see was the roof. The balcony was shared and with no privacy. Wish I had been advised of this when I made the reservation. I wonder how is it that your hotel has over 1000 reviews while another hotel very close to you only has 200.? The condition of the furniture in the room was not the best, with visible damage to the furniture due to humidity. In conclusion, the valet parking offered by your hotel was imaginary. I ended up hustling looking for parking. Finally and to be fair, the piña coladas were great.

Room was just as described and as the pictures shown. The staff is very polite and friendly. The location is perfect and has many entertainment options around including at the restaurant at the front of the hotel. I really recommend this place for a good time in Miami Beach.

This hotel is WONDERFUL

Oscar at the front desk was incredible. He was personable, accommodating and very helpful with check in and making sure we were well taken care of. It is my second time at this hotel and I will continue coming here when I visit Miami.
