Once again, TripAdvisor comes through because in looking for a new place to stay in Meridian, I noticed that the Comfort Inn had received acceptable reviews. Based on those recommendations, I chose it for a quick overnight stay on a longer journey. I don’t rate hotels on an absolute standard. I don’t hold a budget hotel to a luxury hotel standard. I look at what they promise and compare it to what is delivered. This hotel lives up to its standards. You need to be observant trying to access the hotel. The access road that leads to the driveway is a little challenging. But once there, check in was quick and easy and my reservation was correct. I was placed in a ground floor room facing the rear of the hotel and what a great room that was, facing a wooded hill – no parking lot or road. It was very quiet and inviting. As far as safety, I felt quite safe as to my person and my car. The room was clean, even in the out-of-the-way places and had all the usual amenities: microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, etc. There was a television that I did not use. Internet was easy to access and worked well. The room was well laid out with appropriate space for the furniture. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning/heat was easily controllable and though it cycled on and off, I was able to mask that with my white noise fan. The water pressure was good in the bathroom and it contained the usual amenities as well. I rested well and checkout was easy in the morning. All in all, this was really a good stay in a moderately priced hotel and I look forward to staying here again when I’m in the area.

We stayed in early November. It was very clean & quiet. Easy access to the freeway. Many places to eat in the area. Diane was at the desk when we arrived. Went above expectations in making our stay comfortable.

This was a typical Comfort Inn. Nice and Clean. My problem was our room was on the first floor across from the employee break room. People kept going in and out slamming the door across from us and talking loud. I did not call and complain so it is my own fault, but if the employees could gently pull the door shut it would be so helpful.

To our great surprise on Tuesday & Wednesday they serve Supper to the guest at this location. So we didn't have to find a place to eat. 5-Star. The staff was very nice and when getting to our room the front desk called to see if everything was ok in the room. The room was clean and the ac was on. Stayed in RM307 I-20 Exit 154 in front of Sam's

This hotel is at a busy exit, but the hotel itself is not too hard to get to. We had a King suite which was large, clean, and comfortable. Wifi was good. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh w/a variety of Danish pastries…which has not been the case with recent stays at other choice properties. However, there were no biscuits to go with the eggs and bacon. There are many dining options from fast food to sit-down restaurants nearby.

Nice facility. Our room (#101) was small but clean except for the carpet. Appreciated the night lite in the bathroom. The breakfast eating area is small. We had to wait for an available table, but there are lounge chairs in the lobby area that we sat on while sipping coffee.

Very clean and easy to get to off of interstate. Hotel was quiet and staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room rates were good also. Morning breakfast was good and tastywith plenty to choose from, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, fruit juices.

My family (3) of us got the worst news anyone could get.. we needed to attend a funeral. We booked this hotel the day we left, the reservation staff were very helpful and accomodating. We traveled 14.5 hours and upon our arrival we again were greeted and treated with genuine "Southern Hospitality" by the staff at the desk... as I have been away from the south for quite sometime.. I was very critical and tired after the long trip with longer days to follow. While shopping online for a room I was very suspicious of the choices we had. I was relieved for myself and my family when we arrived and the Comfort Inn presented as a clean, secure and quiet place to rest. The room itself.. was 1st floor King suite and did not disappoint.. it was clean and quiet. I am a very critical person when it comes to staying anywhere other than home. The beds and the pull out were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The fridge and microwave were also clean and ready for use without exception. I would reccommend this hotel for any traveler, in our case we were already distraught over the funeral and the last thing anyone wants to worry about in that situation is your accommodations. We stayed 3 days. We were surprised to find that during week they also offer dinner on certain nights in addition to the normal breakfast fare each day. The breakfast is your normal grab and go. The dinner set them apart from any other hotel I have ever stayed in... I have traveled many years and never encountered dinner at a hotel that was complimentary. You can't go wrong here... the staff were wonderful and very polite ... greeting us each and everytime we entered. The room was above and beyond clean. The facility was warm and inviting and secure. There is an outdoor pool on the property and looked well taken care of... but I was not here for pleasure or vacation so I can only say how that looked.

We stopped here on the way south. The hotel was clean. Room was nice. Breakfast was just ok. Typical choice hotel breakfast. The pool was to cold to swim in however it was the end of May. Ladies at the front desk were nice & helpful. Is would stay here again.

We went to this hotel because we had a family reunion and needed a place for several other family members to stay. The staff was very unprofessional and very uninviting. I felt like they did not want us there. The manager Toya was also very unprofessional and lied to us about several problems. We had ants in our room and we were basically told that it was probably our fault we had ants and that no other room had this problem. We were on the 3rd floor... I found out from other staff that other rooms had the same ant problem. We asked to change rooms and we were told that they were booked. I went online to see if I could book another room and it said they had 5 available. These are just a few problems we had during our experience. We will never go to this hotel again unless they change management. The only nice person on staff that treated us like he wanted us there and wanted our future business was the maintenance man Warren. He is from our view the only good staff the hotel has at this time.
