Room was large with King bed and very clean. Frig and a microwave. Just spent one night of trip to NOLA. Desk staff was very helpful with directions to a local cemetery that we wanted visit. Breakfast was great. Orange Juice was watery and when I commented the service woman, she quickly fixed the machine and brought me more juice!
We had a very relaxing stay. Hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable and room was clean. We didn't stay for breakfast because it didn't start until 6:30 and we're early risers. Receptionist was friendly and pleasant. We stayed here because there was no availability at the naval base and used rewards points, but will stay here again next time through because it's more convenient to restaurants, etc., than the base.
Nice, clean, quiet hotel. Good rate, nice staff. Beds were very comfortable, wi fi actually worked. Plenty of on site parking. Breakfast was typical, but filling. Staff kept up with the clean up. There are a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Really liked the place and highly recommend it.
We stayed only one night but were impressed by this hotel. Although the breakfast buffet was very good, the dining area was too small to accommodate the demand of a weekend crowd . The room was extremely clean and modern with a very comfortable bed and shower . We would definitely stay here again.
Once again, TripAdvisor comes through because in looking for a new place to stay in Meridian, I noticed that the Comfort Inn had received acceptable reviews. Based on those recommendations, I chose it for a quick overnight stay on a longer journey. I don’t rate hotels on an absolute standard. I don’t hold a budget hotel to a luxury hotel standard. I look at what they promise and compare it to what is delivered. This hotel lives up to its standards. You need to be observant trying to access the hotel. The access road that leads to the driveway is a little challenging. But once there, check in was quick and easy and my reservation was correct. I was placed in a ground floor room facing the rear of the hotel and what a great room that was, facing a wooded hill – no parking lot or road. It was very quiet and inviting. As far as safety, I felt quite safe as to my person and my car. The room was clean, even in the out-of-the-way places and had all the usual amenities: microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, etc. There was a television that I did not use. Internet was easy to access and worked well. The room was well laid out with appropriate space for the furniture. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning/heat was easily controllable and though it cycled on and off, I was able to mask that with my white noise fan. The water pressure was good in the bathroom and it contained the usual amenities as well. I rested well and checkout was easy in the morning. All in all, this was really a good stay in a moderately priced hotel and I look forward to staying here again when I’m in the area.
We stayed in early November. It was very clean & quiet. Easy access to the freeway. Many places to eat in the area. Diane was at the desk when we arrived. Went above expectations in making our stay comfortable.
This was a typical Comfort Inn. Nice and Clean. My problem was our room was on the first floor across from the employee break room. People kept going in and out slamming the door across from us and talking loud. I did not call and complain so it is my own fault, but if the employees could gently pull the door shut it would be so helpful.
To our great surprise on Tuesday & Wednesday they serve Supper to the guest at this location. So we didn't have to find a place to eat. 5-Star. The staff was very nice and when getting to our room the front desk called to see if everything was ok in the room. The room was clean and the ac was on. Stayed in RM307 I-20 Exit 154 in front of Sam's
This hotel is at a busy exit, but the hotel itself is not too hard to get to. We had a King suite which was large, clean, and comfortable. Wifi was good. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh w/a variety of Danish pastries…which has not been the case with recent stays at other choice properties. However, there were no biscuits to go with the eggs and bacon. There are many dining options from fast food to sit-down restaurants nearby.
Nice facility. Our room (#101) was small but clean except for the carpet. Appreciated the night lite in the bathroom. The breakfast eating area is small. We had to wait for an available table, but there are lounge chairs in the lobby area that we sat on while sipping coffee.
