We like the TRU brand cause they’re clean, modern and seem to always have pleasant staff. That was definitely the case for this TRU, however our room was substandard. The phone didn’t work. There was no trashcan. The flipper door lock was missing (!!) and the TV remote was so convoluted we gave up.

NEVER TO RETURN

The first 2 rooms they gave us were not clean however the front desk clerk handled the situation with excellent customer service. We asked for clean towels and was told to put the dirty ones outside the door and we did however once we returned. We were told we don’t have any.The day of check someone came baming on the door at 11:20 screaming time to check out. Which he could be heard as he did that foolishness to every door.

Some things are ok others are not. I guess I’d say it’s nice looking from a distance etc but there too many things that I’d call minimized and that covers several things I didn’t like and wouldn’t anywhere . Prob too long for here . Staff lady who checked me in was vey nice and friendly etc tho only the other side things were not to my liking and wee incident and the room was missing things id have expected to be there and other things completely missing that are normal for most hotels . I will breakfast was prettty good considering free but then rates not the cheapest around so that’s not that much of a good in good vs bad.

Property was great but they ran out of towels. We had four adults with two towels the first night and we asked for more the next and were told they were out . We then got two more. That is unacceptable

Check-In was wonderful! The young lady that helped us was very friendly and accommodating. The next morning, my husband goes down for breakfast. There were 3 women in the office in the lobby and a small child of one of the employees. The child was screaming, no one acknowledged it. People were coming down to check-out but no one would come out of the office. Actually, no one even looked out to see if people were at the desk. One gentleman finally went to the door and told them he needed some assistance. When I got down for breakfast, there was no bacon or eggs. I went to the front desk to ask if they putting more out, but the lady never looked up or asked if she could help me. The kitchen lady came from the back and put out some bacon (it was basically raw) and omelets. I can’t have cheese so I asked if she could make me some Vegas without cheese, she just kinda looked at me and said, no. I am assuming only one elevator worked because only one ever opened, when it stopped it sounded like it could stop working at any moment. At checkout, I asked for a receipt. The lady stated her computer was acting up. She tried another one, couldn’t get it to work and finally said, I am going to have to reboot everything and I don’t know how long it will be. She said when she finally got it up, she would email me my receipt. I gave my email address and our room number to her. I have yet to receive my receipt.
