Shay at the front desk was amazing! She went above and beyond in order to make sure we got transport to the show we were seeing. We enjoyed the pool table in the lobby and befriended fellow guests over a few rounds. We will definitely be returning in the future!

My Detailed Review of Tru by Hilton Our recent stay at Tru by Hilton was a mixed experience, and I want to share it in detail so management and future guests understand what to expect. The hotel itself is nice, and the rooms were actually great — clean, comfortable, and perfect for getting a good night’s sleep. On the room side, I have no complaints at all. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing and honestly surprising for a Hilton-branded property. When we went down for breakfast, there was no bread, no bagels, and most of the cereals were completely out. It wasn’t just one or two items missing it felt like the entire breakfast setup was halfway empty. My wife asked a couple of simple questions about the missing items, and instead of giving a respectful explanation, the workers laughed like we were supposed to already know that the delivery truck didn’t come. That kind of reaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary. Guests shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed for asking basic questions, especially when breakfast is advertised as part of the stay. I understand that sometimes supplies run out or deliveries get delayed — that happens. But the way the staff handled it made the situation worse. A polite explanation would have been enough. Instead, we were met with attitude and laughter, which is not what you expect from a hotel known for hospitality. The room #315 was absolutely terrible. The smell of dog was overwhelming. I went downstairs to ask for new sheets hoping that would help. It did not help because the smell of pet/dog was coming from the entire floor and furniture being covered in dog hair. After mopping it up myself with a wet towel, it did not subside. the front desk offered me a new room but still insisted in telling me they clean the rooms. This left me with the uneasy feeling of being treated like a liar after housecleaning a room I should have been able to go in and shower and go to bed. I will never stay at this hotel again.
