I stayed here first in 2010 when we were stranded by the ash cloud. The staff were absolutely fantastic and did not treat us any different to any other guests who had paid to stay here. I came back as it was near to where I needed to be for a few days. The hotel was as before very clean and again the staff were very helpful. You can get the the hotel via bus from the airport and again back later. Central Madrid is within 20 mins via either the metro or Cercanias. I don’t get the reviews of people it’s relatively cheap if you want more luxury pay more.
Why mixed feelings? I've stayed in NH hotels before, in Holland and France, but this was a bit disappointing, but it's not all bad. It just seems a bit neglected. Don't get me wrong here - the room we had was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean modern style bathroom, with shower gels etc. And, thank goodness, the air-con worked as it was 38c outside! However, be aware that this hotel does not have a bar and doesn't have a lunch or evening restaurant. There is no proper room service, but a menu for a local PIzza delivery service. With this in mind it would have been very useful to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is a nice breakfast room, and the breakfast at E15 is quite good. There is good selection of the usual continental breakfast options, and cooked breakfast can also be ordered. The cooked breakfast was better than most hotels as it appears to be freshly cooked to order, rather than sitting under heat lamps for ages. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 5mins from the Renfe station where a 20 minute train ride (for only E1.80 !) takes you straight into central Madrid Atocha station.
Visited this hotel not for the first time. The friendly staff at reception and at breakfast is the same for some years now. That's a very positive sign. Hotel offers value for money taking into consideration the location close to train station with direct line to Madrid city center, but also give the numerous little Spanish restaurants just around the corner. Not to forget: the breakfast buffet is a pleasure with a choice of fresh bread, fruits, various fresh juices, meats and cheeses. Hotel is a quite place. Rooms contain good beds and adequate airco. Points of attention for management might be: replacement of the old TV's and start a project on renewing bathrooms (shower over bad is fantastic, however the joints between the tiles are pretty deteriorated at some places)
It was nice for short stay as it's little bit expensive and 15 kilometer far from Madrid center it's nice for people have business at the industrial park, The surrounding area is nice and there are alot of bars restaurants cafes and super markets
NH Villa de Coslada does not reflect the correct price for a 3 star hotel. The room price of around 80 euros is a bit high, maybe 65 euros would be better for the conditions offered, but for 2-3 nights, it's not a problem. Maybe the breakfast that is over many 4 star hotels is the reason. The rooms are tiny and a little shabby, but do not mind to the look. I only recommend it for business stays, for a maximum of 2-3 nights. Tip: If you want to come with guests, keep in mind that at 22 o'clock the main door closes and only those accommodated can enter.
Perfect located near to Plaza Mayor de Coslada and the metro & rail station. Spacious and very clean rooms, warm and very professional staff. All necessary amenities available (including hair dryer, coffee maker and mini-bar). A very rich and delicious buffet breakfast.
Very easy to get the train to Madrid city center. You have to visit La Rosaleda. Very nice restaurant behind the hotel. La Rosaleda, Calle Doctor Michavila 15, 28821 Coslada. Very nice staff, good food, reasonable prices. Enjoy a drink, a glass of wine, eat some tapas or full meal. Please give kind regards to Antonia and Jesús from Susanne in Sweden.
Very friendly staff, rooms are beautiful, clean, the only problem is the heating sistem, sometimes it pumps cold air instead of hot... location is great, exactly in the center, u got a nice view(speciallly me cuz i choose the junior suite every time :) )
Stayed here for four nights while my wife was on business and had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast is fantastic! The front desk staff was very friendly. They seemed eager to help with any little issues we had and offered helpful directions and recommendations. I would gladly stay here again.
Breakfast is the best. Walking distance to Train station. 2 minutes walking you can reach supermarket, and restaurants. But I had hard time to open webpage. Per my internet speed testing result, the speed in my room at 5th floor is: Download speed 0.33 Mbps, upload speed 0.08 Mbps.
