I stayed here for 2 nights for work in early September. I loved the touch of having iced lemonade in the foyer, just what we needed as we checked in after the Metro ride from the airport. The staff were all very friendly, and humoured our average Spanish, which was kind of them :) I was in a single room, which was fine space-wise. The air-conditioning is fierce though; I recommend a good 22/23 degrees for night! The breakfast was great, the gym too, but our favourite bit was definitely the rooftop: we had a dip in the pool as we arrived, and drinks up there every evening. It just seems a shame that they close it 7-8! Will definitely stay again, it's also very well located.

We just spent 3 nights and had a great stay. We arrived to Madrid at 6:30am and went straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage. The desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. They were able to provide an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Our room was clean and well kept. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. This hotel couldn't be more convenient for public transportation. The train station is right across the street and made it super easy to get every where! Take the #6 to the #8 and you'll be at the airport in 40 minutes. Take the #3 to Sol and you'll be walking distance to everything! We had drinks on the roof and the view is spectacular. The couches make it a very cozy hangout for some drinks & conversation. There are numerous cafes within walking distance for all of your cafe con leche needs! We'd definitely stay again!

We had booked a four night stay with family. Nice rooms, clean, very quiet with window closed and good air-conditioning. Terrace bar lovely in the evenings. Good location,a little further out but next to metro. Lovely coffee shop next door for breakfast.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of June and had a fairly enjoyable experience. The location is quiet and close to the city centre, an easy 15 minute walk and you are in all the action. The hotel has a rooftop sunbathing area with pool, the pool is much, much smaller than it looks in pictures, although well kept and ice cold, it can only really hold 4 or 5 people. Breakfast was decent, nice selection although lacks any variety day to day. Rooms were clean, well kept and the air con / showering facilities were very good, no complaints about the rooms themselves. WI-FI is pretty poor, connection drops out, it's weak and download speeds are not up to the standard you'd expect in 2017. Overall, decent hotel, not too expensive and it did the trick, I suspect if you look around there are better.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time The rooms are large and clean. We had a room on the backside, I think this is better for the noise in the nighttime. Breakfast offers a wide selection of food. We also used the bar on the top floor which was very nice and the swimmingpool /which was way to cold (even at 37 degrees outside) You can reach the city by metro, entrance in front of the hotel Overall we had a good stay in this place

Will not be staying back at the exe hotel. On the first day, the staff took my credit card (which is normal) but not out of site for the period they did without telling me they were going to. They got our reservation wrong and told us if you wanted to buy breakfast we could (We already paid for this!), we also put a city tour on our reservation which they never even asked us about and we never got. I was then using the hair drying when a load bang went off and all the electric cut out, I called he reception to be told it's probably an old hairdryer and nothing to worry about...You are admitting to putting faulty or old equipment in a 4 star hotel with no sorry at all Or anything to say sorry as I could have been electrocuted!!!! The breakfast was a massive disappointment and even had our of date yogurts on the stand. I then went to check out and they were trying to charge me twice for the breakfast as they were telling us we didn't pay for them. Luckily I had confirmation on my phone that said bed and buffet breakfast. All this and I only stayed 3 nights! Out of all the hotels Ive ever stayed in, Ive been lucky but this is one I will never go back too. Very disappointed!!!

Mediocre hotel. Claims 8.5 on but in 2017 is it really a lot to ask to have proper Wi-fi and Cable TV? There are no English language TV channels - not even CNN!! So next step is internet TV but as Wi-fi is so terrible you can forget about that too. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly but that is the least that should be expected in every hotel but worth a mention nonetheless. I wouldn't rebook here as Madrid has a lot more value hotels on offer.

Excellent hotel, excellent service, excellent staff. We were a little dubious when booking this hotel as we really thought it was way out of Madrid when viewing on google map. How wrong could we have been. Hotel Exe Moncloa is in a lovely area. The metro is literally across the road and if 2 seniors can work the unmanned machines then anyone can. It was so simple. The hotel did exactly what it said on their website, couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Lovely room with brilliant aircon (the outside temperature was 36 deg). Breakfast was very good too, plenty of choice to suit everyone. We will definately return to Madrid (when it is a little cooler) and we will definately return to Hotel Exe Moncloa. There is a safe in the room which is free and free wifi which is very quick. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Me and my family stayed at exe moncloa for a week, we had a very good stay. The hotel looks good and new, the breakfest also very good, the staff was kind. The hotel and the rooms was very clean. i ranked it very good instead of excellent because it's not that close to the center, But it has a metro station 2 minutes walking so it's fine.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday in Spain. We found it to be just what we wanted, with the Moncloa Metro station across the road, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, including one downstairs adjoining the hotel. Breakfasts were also good with plenty of choice and wonderful fresh orange juice! The room was clean and modern and with a very comfortable bed. We would certainly stay here again.
