Stayed in 10/2017 for 3 nights. The best of the hotel ist the roof-deck of the hotel with a small pool, bar and sun deck. But it was closed although the weather was fine and sunny. Also the hotel had a small restaurant in the entrance (ground floor) to have some place to meet and have something small to eat. This restaurant also is closed and not usable. There is no place in the hotel to use a bar or other place to stay together before go to bed. The Wifi speed in the rooms was about 0 speed. No way to use google or other sites although i couldnt even do my flight booking. Only in the entrance next to the reception we could use wifi wlan. Bad smell out of the lavatory. Many check in and outs during the hole day 24 hours and therefore very loud. For the price of 125EUR of a single room 1 person other hotels offer better services. and even a bar inside. Next time i will use another hotel same class in that area.

We stayed (two couples) for 3 nights whilst visiting a friend who lives in Madrid. It is a very nice 4-star hotel. The staff are very helpful and speak good English. Reception is very welcoming, often with complimentary apples and fruit juice on hand. It took us a little while to get to grips with the lift (you have to use your room card to operate it, but it's a bit hit and miss), but as we were only on Room 2 we solved that problem by locating the stairs. We had breakfast one morning. it was fine if, at 10 Euros each, a little overpriced. The hotel is situated directly across the road from the Moncloa Metro station, which is very convenient for getting around the city. Our rooms was very comfortable and clean, though the one next door that our friends were in (214) apparently had a pillar in the middle of the room, which may cause the odd problem for people who get up in the night. As noted in other reviews, the rooftop bar was closed. My only slight quibble was the noise from outside during the night (we stayed Thursday-Saturday nights). The hotel is situated in a student area, with several bars nearby which are open until 6.30 am. We could hear people shouting, music and what sounded like tannoy announcements well after midnight. I'm surprised that the hotel hasn't sound-proofed the rooms a little more. Having said that, the bed was comfy and, on the whole, we slept well. I've ticked that this isn't a quiet hotel, but it's not particularly noisy either. Any noise is external.

We were so happy with this hotel, the room was very spacious, even with three women in it! Everything looked brand new, the decor was stylish and clean, the bathroom was huge and the shower was great. Everything was cleaned every day, we couldn't have asked for more for the price. The location was perfect too, there is a metro station directly across the road but it wasn't too far to walk anywhere either. The only complaint we had was that the roof top pool was closed!! Apparently all pools in Madrid close on the 17th September! Crazy rule! The roof top bar was open on an evening though which was lovely and the pool was probably too small for the three of us never mind anyone else so don't get too excited about it. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend, First of all hotel is clean and breakfast ok, thats the good bits over. Wifi you may aswell post a letter, ive never written a review before but got that stressed with wifi i nearly punched my laptop screen through as i could not do any work at all, absolutely crap, rooftop bar not open, sauna not even working, gym is a cycle and a couple of dumbells. i am not impressed one bit!

The main reason for booking the hotel was for the rooftop pool and bar. We were told it is open in the summer season. We travelled in July and work was being carried out to it. This was very disappointing. Apart from that the hotel was ok. Conveniently based opposite the metro.

I was attracted to this hotel because it is next to a metro station, with a nearby express bus service to the university (where I attended a conference). It was very easy to get to the city and the university by public transport, and it is quite easy to walk to Madrid centre. There's a lovely park a short walk away - and a cable-car attraction - and also shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the other main attraction - a rooftop open-air swimming pool - closed 15 September, although it was tiny anyway. However, the rooftop bar was open from 6pm and proved a lovely place to sit and look over the city. The basement gym was also small and disappointing - three machines, only one of which was connected to the power supply. There is a steam room and sauna - we were advised to ask for these to be switched on 20 minutes prior to use. We did this - the steam room was fine but the sauna stone cold. There is no lounge bar or restaurant, although the room service menu from an outside catering outlet looked good. I believe work is underway to build an in-house restaurant. Breakfast was served in the basement (no natural light) and the food was nicely prepared.

The hotel is quite central and shows a beautiful rooftop bar. Breakfast was excellent and abundant. The room I had (a single) was rather small and had a strong moldy odour. Also my colleagues complained about that odour. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. Bathroom was nice if not for the position of the shower, totally in the dark...Who on earth did design such a dark shower? No light at all..

I stayed here for 2 nights for work in early September. I loved the touch of having iced lemonade in the foyer, just what we needed as we checked in after the Metro ride from the airport. The staff were all very friendly, and humoured our average Spanish, which was kind of them :) I was in a single room, which was fine space-wise. The air-conditioning is fierce though; I recommend a good 22/23 degrees for night! The breakfast was great, the gym too, but our favourite bit was definitely the rooftop: we had a dip in the pool as we arrived, and drinks up there every evening. It just seems a shame that they close it 7-8! Will definitely stay again, it's also very well located.

We just spent 3 nights and had a great stay. We arrived to Madrid at 6:30am and went straight to the hotel to drop off our luggage. The desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. They were able to provide an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Our room was clean and well kept. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. This hotel couldn't be more convenient for public transportation. The train station is right across the street and made it super easy to get every where! Take the #6 to the #8 and you'll be at the airport in 40 minutes. Take the #3 to Sol and you'll be walking distance to everything! We had drinks on the roof and the view is spectacular. The couches make it a very cozy hangout for some drinks & conversation. There are numerous cafes within walking distance for all of your cafe con leche needs! We'd definitely stay again!

We had booked a four night stay with family. Nice rooms, clean, very quiet with window closed and good air-conditioning. Terrace bar lovely in the evenings. Good location,a little further out but next to metro. Lovely coffee shop next door for breakfast.
