It's a nice place and very close to public transport when arriving from the Airport or going to the University. The breakfast is quite big and they have a small sauna in the basement. Close to shopping street.
Well located, good and friendly service, quiet and clean room. Just in front of subway station Picture taken from subway entrance. 15 mins away from downtown with Subway. Pool was closed due off season in April.
If you need a hotel with facilities, not very expensive and modern, Exe Moncloa in my opinion has got high standards so I highly recommend it. I stayed in a single room for one person and I cannot say anything negative, so I have to go again to Madrid, I will stay in Exe Moncloa.
Spent a weekend here over Easter and have no complaints about the hotel. It was perfectly comfortable, clean and the locations is great. The moncloa tube is right outside the front door and the area was very safe. Plenty of bars and restaurants around, as well as delicious bakeries - one just 2 doors up. Really close to a beautiful park which is worth visiting. Shame the roof terrace was closed - we knew the pool was as it was out of season (it was close to 30• everyday though!) but would've liked to still use the terrace. City bike docking station right outside too. About a 10 minute cycle into the centre.
The staff were good. The lobby is small and stylish. My single room was just that. Not room for anything but the single bed and a small desk and chair. But super clean and stylishly done. The breakfast is good, but on the weekend it doesn't open until 7:30 and I had to leave at 7:15 no nothing for me. The adjoining "market" is bars and small restaurants offers a convenient place for food and drink but at least on the weekend it seems to go all night. I could still hear from my room at 4:00 am. I think next time I'll pick something closer to Gran Via or the old city.
Had three nights here in April 17, the hotel is well presented, clean and tidy. The staff on reception where really good with everything we needed. Parking was really easy and has direct access via lift to the hotel, that made things really easy for us. Breakfast has been good, with the usual choices you'd expect of any 4 star hotel. The metro station is just outside the front doors, which makes getting around really easy and very straight forward. However walking into town will take about 25 mins (if you go the direct route) a much nicer way was via the park which is opposite the hotel.
The hotel itself was amazing , the room was clean and modern the room was always organized (the house made organized it ) and the service was very good . One thing that u need to know - the parking there costs 22 euro per night (expensive but no other choice ) The hotel has a great location BUT it's about 30 min walking from the hotel to gran vie . But there is a restaurants around and a supermarkets . Definitely recommend!
We stayed here for just 1 night. Rooms are clean and the beds are fine. And the hotel looks nice one the inside. The bathroom was fine, only some objects were loose and the ventilation system wasn't working. There weren't any chairs or a table just beds. The location is perfect just beside the metro station which can transport you trough the whole city. But for that price (119€), it was not more than okay.
On arrival we had some issue as the the website agent we booked through didn't make it clear, we thought we was getting breakfast but instead didn't. A frank decision was made to not opt for breakfast once we arrived. Nevertheless, from here it was all positive. Staff were friendly and the girls at the reception desk were very helpful in guiding and advising us regarding local transport. The roof has a rooftop bar, which locals also use. Plenty of seating. Only downside is the pool is on the roof, and it doesn't open before noon/1pm, which means you can't go for a morning splash when the sun is piping hot. The beds were comfy, cleaners came everyday. There is also a nice chill out lobby and the hotel has access to a nice trendy restaurant next door, that serves amazing burgers! The district it is situated in seems safe with lots of nice cafes to eat in. The metro stop is literally across the road.
The hotel is in nice location with ease of access to the station and other local shopping. The rooms in itself were clean but there was in general low quality service. For instance, during check-in, no one mentioned the breakfast timings or where it is served, there was no mention of the other amenities that can be used etc. The bathroom actually flooded once during the stay and that was purely due to the shower area clog being closed (once again this is not something that you expect). The remote control to the TV was literally in pieces and could not be used. Room No. 320
