Great location and property, but do not order the breakfast. 19euros for a cold sandwich, plain yogurt, fruit, water, juice. Walk to Pando on the corner for a much better breakfast for less.

We stayed at the hotel as part of our honeymoon trip. We splurged a little to stay at the hotel as we thought it would be a good hotel to relax at. We were a little disappointed to find out that the pool and rooftop bar are only open in summer (despite both facilities being listed on Expedia) as we had some lovely weather in late April. Regardless, we still enjoyed our stay. The room was exceptionally clean and the housekeepers were especially attentive.

The room is as clean and very nice. I wasn’t found of the noise in the evening. It was almost impossible to sleep early in that room because we heard noises from the lobbie

The rooms were quiet, clean and we'll appointed. The bar and food staff were excellent the brunch is nice. The location is fantastic. I did feel as though at check-in we were being UP-SOLD for everything. When a manager contacted us to provide my rewards and correct the situation, I was happy, and then at check-out I was questioned and told I was wrong. All the staff are young, and perhaps need a little more training in customer service.

Hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking
We didn't get to the hotel until 12 MN. We were given a room that someone was smoking in even though it was a nonsmoking hotel. Our throats were immediately irritated and requested to have our room changed. The corridor also smelled of smoke. Between having our room changed, the bed made up and towels and soap brought to us we didn't get to sleep until 1:15 am and had to get up at 7:15 to get ready to go to the airport. I would have given a higher star rating if not for the above. Breakfast selection was excellent though. Hotel is away from the main attractions but a 5 min walk from Madrid Atocha train station

It is not possible to check in early, we need to pay 80 euros for upgrade out room and the safe box in the room is broken, and maintenance staff need to come to replace the battery.

Staff wanted to charge me for my baby traveling with us(booked a king size bed because she sleeps with us still).Rooms are inside inner court with DJ events and parties so very noisy, you cannot aerate your room(not ours) smells like cigarette and its stuffed up. Would not recommend .
