Hotel Indigo Madrid - Gran Via4.0 out of 5.0

Located just a bend away from Gran Via, it is a good boutique hotel very near many tourist attractions. We stayed 2 nights in December right after touring Barcelona. It's in a perfect location where we can just walk to the sites. Shops , convenience stores and restaurants abounds nearby. Just a perfect end to our vacation in Spain.
We stayed here two nights. The hotel personnel is really friendly and check-in/out goes fast without any hassles. We had a room in the inside with a window towards the inner court. This was great as it was completely silent at night, a big luxury keeping in mind that Gran Via is just around the corner. The rooms are rather spacious with an amazing shower. Free coffee/tea and a bottle of water (daily). Comfortable bed.
Location is fantastic near the old city and the center point of Madrid. Many activities and dining around with tourist spots. The hotel was established on will renovated and redesigned building. It has swimming pool at the roof top with nice views of surrounding. Very clean entrance and passages. Neat rooms and amenities. Very good choice for visiting the hart of the city
As many reviews say, location is excellent if you plan to visit Madrid’s popular sites. Plenty of restaurants and cafes also. About 20 meters from Gran Via, also makes the Hotel quieter. Small but functional room, wifi not very good sometimes and a Nespresso machine is what you will find. Plus, very good and friendly staff. Room service menu is limited, but had very quick delivery. Good value for money!
I very much enjoyed this hotel during our four day stay in Madrid. It had a very hip and modern vibe with an excellent location near many historic city sites and Spain’s excellent transportation system. There were at least 3 metro station locations within a very short walking distance, the hotel is right off Gran Via where u can easily catch a taxi or bus. If you decide to do the Madrid city bus tour there is a stop right across the Gran Via from the hotel. You have plenty of restaurants in all directions and if you enjoy the theatre there were several also very close by. Puerta del Sol, San Miguel Market and the Royal Palace are all within 15 min of walking with so many restaurants and tapas and shopping to explore. The staff was excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were very well decorated and beds comfy. Both rooms we had did not provide much a view but it didn’t really matter at all. That should not disappoint you. The breakfast was also good and very reasonably priced compared to breakfast places around the hotel. Another suggestion, Mercado San Anton....a market like Mercado San Miguel but cheaper and if you want to take home any wines or food they have a supermarket there with very good prices and they will vacuum seal the charcuterie for you!
Have stay here for a week for Business trip. i really love the location with connect to most of the popular place in walking distance. The hotel services is good and staff are so friendly and helpful especially during the Check in and Check out. Will definitely come back again for next time.
This hotel which I could said, very good location, access to all the highlights, hotel staffs are so friendly especially the receptionist who's name is "Sergio", he was so helpful, kind, friendly. Definitely I will staying this hotel again 😉
First, the location: a block from Plaza Callau, and about 10 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol. You can't really beat this, although the noise from Gran Via was a bit much at night sometimes. The room was nice, not fancy, but not tiny. Service was friendly. The elevators were slow and tiny, and the wifi was spotty at times, or this would have been five stars.
This is a boutique hotel just off the main shopping and entertainment boulevard Gran Via. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in one of their standard rooms. Near the hotel were department stores and specialty shops, eating places and theaters. The Plaza Callao, the Royal Palace and the Cathedral were all within walking distance. It was also so convenient that the Trapsatur office and terminal from where our day tours started was just around the block from the hotel. The property is of a contemporary design both in its public areas and in the guest rooms. The room we stayed in was clean and well-furnished, although a bit small, and the view from our window was of an inner wall. But the bed was comfortable, the wi-fi was good and there was complimentary coffee with a coffee machine. The breakfast that came with our stay consisted of a continental breakfast buffet that offered a good variety, including, you guessed it, Spanish hams, as well as entitled you to order one hot breakfast item from the menu. Although we didn’t use them, we checked out the lounge and swimming pool on the roof deck; as expected, the view of the city from there was stunning. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, especially Miguel, the concierge. Over-all a very good hotel for a wonderful Madrid stay.
We spent 7 days here , and thought the hotel was very good. Its location is really good and the place you want to be when in Madrid ie walking distance to Metro, Shop's and Restaurants. The staff are very helpful and I felt they went beyond our expectations. Breakfast was of excellent quality and closing at 11am a big plus for sleeping in. The rooms are reasonably appointed we just had a standard I would suggest to upgrade that just to get a view to the street. All in all good hotel
