Great place to stay in Madrid: location is super central (walkable distance to all the attractions), the room is comfortable, the breakfast is serving in a gourmet way. There were Nespresso coffee maker and Aveda cosmetics in the room. Pretty nice view to the city from the rooftop terrace. The staff is very kind, professional and welcoming. Absolutely recommend for the short or longer stays in Madrid!
This hotel was very cool! Located right off Gran Via and steps from a couple different metro stops, makes this hotel easy to find, easy to get to and in the middle of all the action! The front desk staff was so accommodating and always greeted us with a smile! They answered all our questions and even printed out a parade route for us for the Palm Sunday procession. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor and a bar overlooking the pool on the roof. Wonderful views from the bar/pool area! We had a corner room with windows on two sides which was really nice. The bathroom was huge! Beautiful tiled walk in shower and heated towel bars. Loved the nespresso machine with cookies in the mornings. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the near future!
Just returned from a 3 night break with friends. We booked 4 rooms in total, two were tankard and 2 were superior. Don't waste your money on the superior option, these rooms were smaller than the standard, decorated the same and had the same facilities. Online the superior rooms look like they have a siting area - that s is not the case! The superior rooms are small and pokey. The air con was temperamental resulting in a very hot room even in March. When I checked with reception about the room we were told the only difference in the standard and superior rooms was the view - our rooms view was the building opposite. I don't expect much of a view in a city centre hotel, but to charge so much more for a 'view' Is a joke. Very dispointed with the additional cost of this rom compared to the standard room, which was a much nicer and more spacious room. We were left feeling ripped off and mislead. The hotel itself is in a great location, very clean and friendly staff. I would stay again but would not pay the rate for the superior room. Don't pay ten £17 euros for the breakfast when you book, the bar in the lobby offers a small but good choice for about 7 Euros. The rooftop area is tiny. Other friends stayed in the hotel emprador just down the street for approx £100 per night less than we paid, this hotel was far better value and of a high standard.
We have just spent 2 nights at the hotel Indigo and very much enjoyed our stay. Easy to get to by the Metro and within walking distances of the main sights. Breakfast was great with a good selection of quality breads, cheeses and yoghurts which suited me as I’m vegetarian. The room was very clean and had Aveda products in the bathroom which was a nice treat. The only down side was the heating wasn’t very effective in our room and the acoustics from the hallways disturbed us from other travelers coming and going. All in all very impressed and would recommend a stay here.
Location was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to transportation, restaurants, shopping and historic sites. Would come back in a heartbeat. It rained al,it’s everyday, glad hotel provided large umbrellas. In the heart of the city.
Very much enjoyed this hotel during our two day stay in Madrid. Modern vibe with an excellent location near many historic city sites . Very short walking distance to some places you want to visit. Puerta del Sol, San Miguel Market and the Royal Palace are all within 15 min of walking with so many restaurants and tapas and shopping to explore. The staff was excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast consisted of a continental breakfast buffet that offered a good variety, including Spanish hams, as well as entitled you to order one hot breakfast item from the menu. The rooms were very well decorated .
Very nice place located in the city centre, all of the tourist routes are located just around the corner. Royal palace 5 mins away walking. The staff as usual in these hotels are extremely friendly and helpful. Nice food and interior. The only thing what a bit disappointed me was our window view, our bedroom was on the first floor and window was facing summer patio downstairs and we didn’t have day light, which made us feel like vampires while we were in the bedroom in the morning :))
Stayed here for 2 nights in early Feb. Lovely clean, chic hotel. Hotel was very friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. Room was comfy with small mini bar if you need a drink or snack. Clean and bathroom was immaculate. Good choice for breakfast. Juices, breads, cakes, fruit and choice of hot breakfast from menu if desired. 2 min walk to Metro and walking distance to everything. If I return to Madrid I would stay here again!
As other reviewers have already noted Hotel Indigo is well located near the heart of Madrid. Most of the main attractions in the city centre can be reached easily on foot using this hotel as a base. The accommodation is reasonable value for money. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was clean but quite small and with no external window (other than to a lift shaft). Bathroom was rather cramped. The breakfast offer is adequate. We were very satisfied with our three night stay in the Hotel Indigo.
Great location and friendly staff at this property. Room was OK, but felt a bit cramped and not too much sunlight to see through the small window facing the back yard. Decent gym facillities. Absolutely super breakfast!
