We stayed at Indigo hotel for 2 nights, it's a great hotel with excellent rooms excellent location at gran via all u need for shopping is there , I rate it as 5 stars hotel The staff are so friendly Good breakfast I Highly recommend it

The perfect location to see everything you want to see over 3 days in Madrid. Apart from using the metro to visit the Real Madrid football stadium we managed to do everything on foot and we are pensioners. The hotel itself was very clean and all staff very helpful. We had a couple of issues which were dealt with instantly. As others have said the rooftop bar great for a late afternoon or evening drink/cocktail. The pool may be small and there are only 10 sun beds but as I understand it there are only a couple of hotels in central Madrid with such facilities so we were very grateful and a dip in the pool and a drink after a day walking round was not to be scoffed at. My only criticism of the hotel was the lack of drawer space in our room. There was good hanging space but for the rest of our clothes lived out of our suitcase. For a supposedly superior room that was disappointing but the room itself was fine.

Has a great location, with all major attraction either walkable or accessible via the metro station just a couple of minutes away. The hotel is clean, has a very modern feel, rooms are furnished in a modern boutique style. The roof top bar is enjoyable. A small number of Sun beds are reserved for hotel residents and the small roof top pool is a good place to cool on the very hot Madrid days; don’t mistake this for a resort facility, consider it a city hotel amenity and you will not be disappointed. Breakfast is good value and offers a large choice to suit most tastes.

The hotel is in a great location, less than a 2min walk from both Callao and Santo Domingo metro stations. You can also walk to each of the Teatro Real, Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel in 5-10mins. Uber from the airport was €22. The reception staff were friendly, their systems were down on the day of checkin but they checked us in manually with no trouble. The room was great, modern and funky, clean bathroom and comfy bed. No view, but I didn't expect one. The rooftop bar/sun deck & pool were great, I specifically picked this hotel as I knew it would be hot and wanted a pool to cool down. Although it's quite a small pool, it was perfect for relaxing in after a day sightseeing. Only really minor point is that the two elevators are incredibly slow, we spent so long waiting. But it didn't detract from an otherwise great stay, would recommend!

This hotel is superbly located right in the heart of Madrid, it is a 4/5 star hotel and has a fabulous roof top bar and swimming pool. Unfortunately for us the pool closes at 8.30 in the evening and we had gone up for a swim around 9pm, this did seem a bit early for Spain. Great place for a nightcap though! We enjoyed 2 really nice rooms with superb power showers (no baths in this hotel) and twin and a double and they had mini bars and the usual complementary goodies associated with this kind of hotel. We chose not to take breakfast as part of our deal, but enjoyed a mini breakfast in the bar area of 4 hot drinks, 4 fresh orange juices, 2 large croissant, and 2 large rolls stuffed with freshly cut iberico jamon with chopped Spanish tomatoes and olive oil. The last roll was served with tomato and or butter and jam. This was all 4 euros per head which was very reasonable. Great hotel, great location there is underground parking for those brave enough to drive in Madrid at 19€ a day We will return, a really nice end to the holiday

Stayed here for three nights in August in a Standard Double Room. It's a great hotel in a great location, literally 10 metres off the Gran Via. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Metro access very, very close too. The rooftop area is really nice, though a bit small so sometimes required waiting a bit for seats / sunbeds. Rooftop bar prices were a little on the expensive side for anything except beer & Sangria (€5 for a Sangria, €5 for a beer, approx. €12 for a gin and a mixer) but the atmosphere late at night here made up for it. Swimming pool is small but more than adequate for a dip to cool down! The lack of natural daylight in the room wasn't great but I understand that we only had a Standard room and this didn't cause too much of an issue. Also, if you ask to join the IHG rewards club on check in, you can take advantage of free late check out (2:00pm) - especially handy if you have a late flight on the day you check out. Staff very helpful and very friendly.

Great location, staff, breakfast and terrace. Roof top terrace with small dipping pool was great in baking hot Madrid, a nice way to overlook the city. Bedrooms were clean and expansive, staff lovely, breakfast fantastic...and right in the city centre. Gran Via one minute walk to the right when you leave the hotel and Puerta del Sol and the palace a five minute walk to the left. This is easily one of the best locations I've had for the value and the quality.

Spent one night in Madrid and the hotel was perfect located and the staff helped with tips on where to go. One tiny thing was the very slow elevator, other then that it was super and I will come back 😎

I chose Hotel Indigo based on the location in Madrid and the rooftop pool and it proved to be a good choice. The Hotel is well located just a short walk from all the major attractions. Although it's centrally located the sound proofing in the rooms shuts out all the background noise and you almost feel cocooned :) The rooms are small but it's a city centre hotel so that's normal and they're not so small they feel claustrophobic. Breakfast has a really good selection but I noticed each morning the wait staff telling people breakfast wasn't included in their rate even though it was. The same thing happened to me and seemed to be a regular occurrence so the communication between bookings and the restaurant needs to be streamlined. Nespresso machines in the rooms along with a complimentary bottle of wine were nice touches although a corkscrew would've been helpful as well :) Overall a good hotel with a nice rooftop pool that was very welcome after a day trekking round the sites in Madrid.

We went to Madrid during the recent heatwave and we couldn't have been in a better place. I really can't find fault for a hotel that was not expensive. The pool was perfect, cool and just big enough to feel one was not in a tub - the rooftop bar was buzzy enough for our teenage son to feel a little bit cool but quiet enough for the parents to enjoy, breakfast was extensive, fresh and delicious, the rooms were simple and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful - I can't recommend the hotel enough.
