Check-in was done with so much ease even with me checking in late at night, the layout and decor of the hotel were nice and modern. the bedroom very spacious, the room can be a little dark but has fantastic large windows. The hotel pool is conveniently placed where shade is and plenty of decking chairs, there is also a balcony that over looks the pool area, outdoor and indoor eating area. the only confusion I felt was when the restaurant was open for dinner. The hotel has an information screen that tells you of places you can visit and how to get there. hotel staff were also very helpful. the hotel is in a good location about 15 minutes it was about 20euros from the airport, good transport link into the city centre, and local to the hotel are some bars and restaurants less than a 10 minute walk with a shopping mall. all in all I had a great time and would definitely stay there again come back with my children. and I really enjoyed the breakfast so yum.

The hotel is in a bit of no-man's land, in that it is not very near the airport (I was attending a conference in IFEMA, the Convention Centre just by the airport) and neither is it near the city centre. The metro stations are either a 13 min or 16 min walk from the hotel (from Google maps, but in the hot summer sun, it takes longer!) It is 1 change to the airport but multiple changes (on average 3) to get to the tourist spots in town. So unless you have a meeting in the immediate area, it is not convenient. The room itself is OK but the fridge does not cool down what is put in it - the bottles of water come out at almost room temperature after sitting in the fridge overnight. The air-conditioner pumps out small amounts of not-cold air and the thermostat on the wall does not change the temperature at all. The front desk staff seem friendly but not sure how well they understand English. I asked them to check the bathroom sink in my room as it was draining very slowly, but after 1 day, the sink still drained slowly. I had no table lamp on my desk, which meant that I could not do any work after dark. My colleagues had lamps on their desks, so I asked the reception staff twice, on different days, for a table lamp, but one never appeared. When asked about the nearest metro station, we were directed by reception staff to the one that was further away, until someone from the group found out about the slightly nearer metro station. Breakfast was reasonable with cereal, cold meats, fruit, bread and pastries. There was some hot dishes of bacon, sausage and mushrooms but the accompanying hard boiled egg was cold. On the plus side, bottles of water were complimentary, as was the Wifi, which was realiable and reasonably fast. Overall, I would have to say that I would not stay here again unless there is a compelling reason to do so.

Stayed here for a 5 nights, a trip to Madrid for the first time. The hotel is very close to the airport but not so close to the city centre and taxis are expensive. The hotel itself is lovely, very modern and clean, we were upgraded to a room on the sixth floor with a balcony which I highly recommend, it was lovely to be able to sit out there in the evenings. We didn't have breakfast here but we had lunch and that was very tasty. Staff are friendly. No English speaking entertainment channels on the bedroom TV only news channels. Shower was lovely but bathroom smelled a bit throughout our stay. Pool was open and it's a lovely areas however 38 degrees was a bit too hot to sit out in for us :)

Nothing spectacular, but you get free parking, free WiFi, clean rooms and I loved their towels. Friendly stuff and nice pool to relax and cool off during hot summer days. On the down side the doors at rooms slam with a horrible noise and mornings could be frustrating from people leaving their rooms and doors slamming.... another point worth mentioning is the bathroom door made glass it is smaller than the frame leaving considerable gaps which ... do not separate very well the bathroom from the rest of the room. The A/C sometimes drops water from the ceiling onto the floor and during very hot days cannot keep up with demand. On the up side the food is great, tasty and very well presented, cold beer on tap... nothing to complain about. We stayed twice in this hotel, pretty good value for money.

I stayed 3 nights in a triple room end one night in a superior room. The standard triple has all the basics, plus complementary bottles of water in the mini fridge. The superior rooms on the 6th floor are more spacious and have a balcony (no balcony furniture however), office area, separate bath/shower, double sink, sitting area with tea/coffee making facilites, bathrobes and slippers. In both rooms the beds are very comfortable, my only comment would be that the air conditioning was quite loud in the standard room. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is varied and the restaurant has a good choice. The swimming pool is a good size, not heated but well maintained, the gym has varied equipment and bottled water is provided. Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

In town on business and this hotel was selected based on price and associated benefits (lunch + 5 min walk to work). My experience has been ok, the gym has good equipment and weights, the pool is nice, the hotel lobby is cozy. What I didn't like, the bed is hard, safe doesn't work and due to a fire, no irons are available for your clothing. I am on a business trip and will need to send my clothes offsite to be ironed. Additional cost and inconvenience. Not the hotels fault, I suspect an insurance restriction do to someone being careless. I view this hotel as a good one for a short stay.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights on a business trip...while there I was on the internet and I got prompted to take a survey to rate my stay...I had a couple of comments that I left as suggestions for the future and was expecting it to stay at that..a comment. To my surprise one hour later as I was out in a meeting I came back to find all my comments attended to and exceeded! That is superb customer experience. Thanks to the reception staff for their diligent help with all my requirements and their lovely note and quick reaction to my comments. Definitely a memorable experience for me. 😊

Hotel is located in a nice area 15-20 mins. Away from airport and another 20- 25 mins to Grand Via (down town area) by taxi and 35- 40 minutes by bus (bus no. 53) which is 1 min walk from hotel. From my point the hotel is rated average in terms of room facilities, breakfast options, view, ...etc. Yet it is cozy and neat. Staff is responsive and helped us by providing a wheel chair. They don't provide in room coffee/tea options, iron,...etc. I didn't ask about this option but knew that there would be a complimentary early bird coffee from 5:30- 7:00 am for free! They offer also a variety of pillows for free. It suits more business travelers.

I went to this hotel for two nights. Very friendly personnel and very nice lobby / bar / restaurant. Very convenient location for business. BUT, while the room looks nice at first sight during the day, the light was not properly working in the room (I was almost in the dark at evening though trying to switch on all lights) and the air conditioning was amazingly noisy and uncomfortable (it was either at max speed or off, no in-between! It sounded like old 80's system...). It was not a very good experience...

We had been trying to find a hotel last minute since the night before we arrived in Madrid. Everything was way out of our price range. Once we got into Madrid we checked again and found Ilunion Atrium which was within our budget! The hotel is very modern and the room was clean with a nice king size bed. Unfortunately the pool closes at 8 pm and doesn't open until 12 pm, which is the check out time, so we missed out on that. A bit out of the way, but for the one night we were very happy. The lady at the front desk was also very helpful and spoke great English to help us find somewhere to eat and give us a map of Madrid.
