I stayed at Hotel Axor Barajas after injuring my leg and undergoing surgery. I chose this hotel through Expedia because of its good reviews, expecting professional and considerate service. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival, I was told that my payment had not gone through and was asked to pay again. I had already completed the payment, and only after I showed proof did they finally provide the room. This caused unnecessary stress and showed a lack of proper management.
When making the reservation, I clearly requested wheelchair assistance due to recent leg surgery. No wheelchair was prepared. There was also no luggage cart available. As a result, I had to struggle with my luggage while in significant pain.
The condition of the room was also unacceptable. There was visible dust throughout the room, and the bathroom door would not close properly and kept opening on its own. For a hotel that advertises itself as an airport hotel with good standards, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is simply not acceptable.
Overall, the hotel demonstrated a lack of organization, poor attention to detail, and little consideration for guests with medical needs. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
