The staff at this hotel has been absolutely wonderful. We were here for three days when unfortunately the weather was terrible, so we were so lucky to have indoor amenities like the pool and spa as well as multiple restaurant options to choose from. The room is extremely nice however, not to the level that I would equate a typical five star property. Definitely a 4 though. I would say this is a four-star property that gets five stars for value because the price is fantastic. We stayed in Feb 2022 and paid only €90 per night and that was for an upgraded room. Breakfast was very good. Restaurants were great as well and very reasonable on price. It seems everything in Malta is quite reasonably priced compared to the rest of Europe. Indoor pool is great…..although lots of small kids on the weekend. It’s too cold today to use the outdoor facilities, but the rooftop pool looked like it would be wonderful in summer. I highly recommend this property to anyone based on value for the money.

Hotel location was great, staff and room were great. The breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold choices. Hotel service is excellent. Can walk to many great restaurants from hotel and short walk to ferry and bus stops.
Nice hotel with spacious facilities and helpful, friendly staff. We stayed in the executive tower room with ocean view and small balcony on floor 7. The view was great! The bathroom was very nice, but not designed for taller people. I'm 5ft 9 and my husband is 6ft 1. Had to bend over each time to see in the magnified mirror. It could easily br raised 2 feet. This might sound really trivial, but it's frustrating if staying there for a week. Also the bathroom shelving is down below at ground level. Minibar is replaced each day with complimentary water and wine. The rooftop pool deck is very nice but windy at times and closes before 5pm. Beware! The pool is not heated and this was very disappointing (how about using solar panels to heat it?) it was freezing and for those winter months, I can't imagine.. Our complimentary breakfast was fantastic, served downstairs 8-10:30am. The upper restaurant is really nice and serves good food. The hotel is in close proximity to the Sliema/Valletta ferry, about 5 mins walk. The shops are also close by. Overall, nice hotel, but in no way a 5 star.. We did enjoy our stay, but be aware of what you are looking for and if driving, use a GPS to locate it.
