We booked a larger room with a sofa (junior suite?) and brought my daughter along. When we arrived at the hotel, they said we needed to upgrade the room to a larger suite for 3 person occupancy. It wasn't like we brought along 3 of our friends, and our child is young enough that when we stay in hotels, she stays in the bed with us. The staff was unfriendly and inflexible, but the worst part was that it felt like they were taking advantage of us. We were tired and didn't want to find another hotel so we paid the extra $200+ per night. I stay at a lot of hotels like this and typically the staff do what they can to make things better for you, not worse.

I love this hotel BUT as someone who is used to small hotel rooms in Europe I think they should have considered their arranging of the room from the perspective of the traveler. The suitcase didn’t fit under the bed the closet didn’t hold but a few things and could not accommodate the suitcase. I stuffed ours between the bed and the window which kept the room looking tidy but broke my back every time I had to get in it. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.... that said I love the colors of the room and the tile in the bathroom made my heart sing:)

Hotel is located in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood, a shoppers paradise. The rooms are very quiet, clean and stylish. The beds are super comfy and I had the best nights sleep of my vacation. Bathrooms are spacious and stylish. Staff did everything to make our stay pleasant. All in all a great hotel.

Dear Anonymous, The rooms booked through any Expedia Channel in this case Orbitz are for two people and some of them don't have the capacity for an extra person. My colleagues kindly offer you that option for you to stay the 3 people. I am sorry you thought we were taking advantage of you, that was totally far from our intentions. We apologise for the inconvenience, regarding your suitcase, please feel free next time to ask for an extra folding luggage holder. You shouldn't have to put the suitcase on the floor and injure yourself while picking up clothes. Our first two categories are very usefull for business travelers. The three other categories are bigger and very convenient for clients coming with big suitcases for holidays.
