The hotel is nice and the breakfast was pretty good. Also having ac in the room is a great plus during the summertime. Great location, it’s right next to the train station and the pier so you can go around places pretty easily.

The location of the Monopol was perfect. It is located directly across the street from the train station. It also had air conditioning which is a must for us during the summer.

Hotel is dated & not very clean. Paid for 3 people & was given bunk beds to accommodate but they were really uncomfortable. Asked for a cot and that was also very uncomfortable. Overall not a good experience.

The hotel is just right next to the main train station and a short walk from the ferry terminal. The old town and main tourist attractions are all within walking distance. Couldn't have asked for more.

If you book a zimmer suite and they tell you that you have been upgraded to a room with a kitchen, don't take the upgrade! 4 families had booked Zimmer suites (which were very nicely appointed with large bathrooms), but unfortunately for my husband and I we were upgraded to a room with a kitchen (not useful when only staying for 1.5 days). The bathroom required you to walk sideways into the room (as it was tiny) and there was no where to sit in a large expansive room. Overall the hotel is nice and it is in a great location in Lucerne, but be mindful of them promoting room upgrades from the best rooms in the hotel! Very disappointing!

The hotel was in an excellent location, just minutes from the train station. Our room was spacious, comfortable, md quiet. We loved the rooftop bar! Beautiful view and great place for a drink/snack?

Beautiful hotel across from station . Staff were lovely gave us vouchers for museums and transport. Huge room and barhroom. Would stay there again. Breakfast included was delicious.

Our room was leaking from the ceiling. When brought to the hotels attention, they set towels under it and apologized. Although staff was friendly, we didn’t have AC and the ceiling was leaking bad. No room change or discount on stay or anything. I found it very unprofessional

View was partial but very nice. Small room but all I needed. Sparkling water included in the room. I forgot my plug adaptor and they lend me one. Staff was very friendly and recommended restaurants like La Bestia - great pizzeria just a minute walk.

Conveniently located just outside the Luzern train station and right next to the chapel brige and boat rides. Attentive staff. We arrived early and staff checked in our bags and room was avaliable earlier than check in time. Will stay again if visiting Luzern.
