Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Luckily they provided a fan, there is no A/C and the room was a little warm. Best location in town, in front of the Chapel Bridge and within walking distance of the main train station. Rooms were comfortable, pristinely clean and with reasonable size. Rooms overlooking the back street are much quieter than the ones looking out the front. Will definitely stay back again.

We loved our 2 night stay at Hotel des Alpes in Lucerne for the proximity to the train station and the views. The staff were so welcoming and always interested to know about our activities each time we came in and out of the hotel. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night; the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Although breakfast was not included, we ate in the restaurant both mornings and again, the food was delicious. We would absolutely stay here again if and when we come back to Lucerne.
