Overall experience was nice. The only complain I have was that I still hear noice 1 in the morning when I was trying to sleep. My room was on the sixth floor in building 2 and I want site if the noice was from the street or upstairs restaurant.

Its a nice hotel in a convenient location but its amenities are poor (fitness room is not usable), the breakfast is average, the rooms dated, and the staff, while professional, were a little too serious/dry. For the money I'd say its a pass next time

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at the Astoria Lucerne. The hotel was outstanding with incredible ambiance; the welcoming staff was professional and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was impeccably clean and spacious while the restaurants and breakfasts were five stars. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic experience with luxurious amenities and impeccable services. Everything was either walk-able or expressible by bus throughout the city. The hotel is well-maintained and provided a safe and secure environment.

Hotel Astoria is only 10 minute walk from the station and has quick access to buses. Nice shops and restaurants near by! The staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable..breakfast was ok.. I would recommend for a family stay..

This is no Astoria; the name is fake! Despite paying over $600 per night, what you get is tiny rooms, unfriendly staff and the restaurants are a total charade. They advertise they’re open till 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM, but they refused to seat us at 10:10 claiming “kitchen is closed”. The front desk team acted helpless as “they had nothing to do with the restaurant”. They told us this is standard practice in Switzerland as if it was our fault that we expected to eat at 10:00 PM. No one of the staff member ever apologized about the situation or offered a solution. Thankfully Uber Eats was available! They get you with an included breakfast, but not worth the hundreds you pay to stay here. On your convenient walk to the station you’ll pass at least five excellent bakeries as well as McD and BK! Keep 20 minutes extra and you’d be laughing to the bank. They can’t even afford to give you separate bath gel hand soap and shampoo (only all three-in-one)! Your shower area will make you think you’re in a dingy apartment. Just like everything in Switzerland, this is a nice way of robbing your wallet. Definitely not worth the price tag!!

I would never stay here ever again. There is a rooftop bar on the seventh floor of the property, which is actually a full blown night club. They had me on the 6th floor and i could hear everything going on in the club until 4 am on Friday and Saturday night. I got 0 sleep and it completely ruined what plans I had for Saturday and Sunday morning, because of going out early i had to now catch up on sleep. I spoke to the front desk about it and the response was "I'm sorry, they are allowed to do it". Clearly whoever owns the property does not care, because people have been complaining about this issue for a long time. Avoid this hotel like the plague for weekend trips. The parking garage is also tight and can be difficult to maneuver. And the bathroom has a 3-in-one (hair, face, body) wash. Not sure how this hotel has 4 stars. I've stayed at 3 stars that were far more comfortable and at least i could get a good, quiet night of sleep.

Nothing not to like about this property! Absolutely perfect in all aspects. Great restaurants, rooftop lounge. Stayed here once before, almost 50 years ago; now I'm back again. My only place to stay in Lake Lucerne!!!

The reception was very polite and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. However, housekeeping tried to barge into our room at 8:30 the morning of our checkout. They returned at 11:00. We were still packing and running a little late. They insisted they come in now, and when we asked them to please give us a couple more minutes, they got upset, said a few words, and stormed off. The breakfast is quite poor and I do not recommend wasting 30ch on it, as there are many better cafes nearby.

Really lovely hotel in a great location. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Good facilities across the sites. Only two small negatives, no fridge in the room and the signage, particularly on where restaurants were/how to access them was confusing.

Enjoyed our stay here! Great location, easy walk to train station and old town, lake Lucerne as well. Quiet room, comfy bed. Breakfast was good, although it seemed to end a but earlier than stated, so don't wait till last minute!

Great place to stay, walkable from station even with luggage. Very clean and quiet. Good service and the staff was very helpful. Ironing was inconvenient as they don’t allow iron in the rooms - they make iron available to use in a common conference room.
