Checkin was a frustrating experience. Neighborhood is not comfortable-we did not feel safe

For the price i paid, it was not good at all.. i have paid less at other hotels, and they are a lot better looking inside and out . It was in the ghetto side , lots of fights at night... did not leave or could not leave my family unattended.

Did not find anything i liked. My room was never cleaned and not even the towels were changed!!

The staff is nice. The courtsey shuttle to Long Island doesn't exist. To San Pedro port too it isn't that regular. Roberto at the front desk called us an uber though.

The cold water in the bathroom sink wasnt working only hot water. Bath tub water didnt drain. Fridge wouldnt get cold or turn on. In a non smoking room and smelled like smoke. Something sliced my sons toe at the bottom of the pool. It seemed like one thing after another. The ppl who worked there were nice but it was a rough time for only being an over night stay.

Property had trash cans in the parking area full, very smelly.

The night mgr was extremely helpful and courteous while i had an issue with a previous reservation from another hotel. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. The room was spotless and pristine in every way. Thanks Vagabond. I'll be back.

Good hotel for the price for pre-cruise. Room rates are very cheap, and you get what you pay for. Staff were wonderful and the free cruise shuttle was a breeze.

They need. Another employee at front desk her face is kind of undesirable in a customer assistance position and kind of of annoying to give instructions

It was a very noisy place to spend the night. The knobs to adjust the temperature of water for taking a shower does not work very well.

Stayed for one night! Fairly quiet and clean. Only one elevator, otherwise there are stairs with motion detected light. At check in, front desk clerk did not volunteer breakfast time to me, I had to ask. Provided wifi password, but never got on their network. Called front desk to complain, but no one answered. (tried twice) Although we had a reservation for 4 people, there were only two hand towels and two washclothes. Called down in the AM and they promptly brought them up (but only after they suggested I come down and pick them up and I said NO). I expected better based on what read inthe reviews. Continental breakfast was decent, nothing earth shattering. Will satisfy you if you are traveling elsewhere such as airport or cruise. I think most of these hotels treat people differently if the reservation is booked via a third party as opposed to directly with them.

We were visiting Long Beach, but didn't want to pay the high hotel prices in Long Beach, so we stayed at this hotel in San Pedro, which was much cheaper. The (outside) halls and stairs were rather run down and not very clean, but the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice.

Stayed one night before cruise. Walked from AMTRAK bus, hotel shuttle to pier. Very satisfactory.

It was nice but they only have one elevator and the deposit they ask for they take forever to put the money back in the bank

Free shuttle to cruiseport. Breakfast was ok but breakfast room is way too small.

Rooms look much different than photos. Saw pictures of a pool but there was no pool. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Shower hardly worked. TV was a computer monitor.

They let us check in early and check out late plus offered free shuttle to the cruise ship.

Cons: 1. The hotel lobby was full of smoke smell. 2. The room carpet was dirty and smelled. 3. The bed pillows were very hard and dirty. I saw bottom hair on one of them. 4. The balcony had a urine smell. 5. This place needs to be updated due to many poor conditions. Pros: 1. Hotel staff was nice and friendly 2. Decent price for an inn. 3. Convenient location, close access to San Pedro Harbor/Port.

This hotel was very accommodating for my short notice Business meeting Close to Highway, without highway noise. I could either take the freeway or the street to my Business meeting. The room was clean, with a very inexpensive appearance.

I will definitely speak to our guest services staff and share your comments. I will also suggest a retraining. Making sure our guest feel safe is also very important to us.
