A quick trip to LA turn on a very pleasant experience. With nice interiors and a room bigger than the pictured in the online site where I reserved, this is a place everybody need to know about for the next stay in Los Angeles.
We had a wonderful visit & thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at your hotel. Very nice rooms - beds comfy & firm pillows. Could recommend this hotel to my friends 👍👍. Location to the airport was exactly what our group needed. Thanks for making us feel so welcomed.
We had a terrific stay after a late night arrival at LAX. The location is close to the airport, the building was clean, the room was large, the complimentary breakfast was terrific. All in all, we would recommend this for a short or longer term stay in the L.A. area. If you’re fortunate enough to get the family room, it had bunk beds for the kids and a separate bathroom for them, too
i called the hotel the day before check in to ask about airport shuttle service (both tripadvisor and expedia state there is a free shuttle) but kept getting a fast busy signal on their phone line. it wasn't just me. i booked through expedia and their agent tried on my behalf, too, but also couldn't get through. though i was inside the cancellation period, expedia was nice enough to give me a refund because i couldn't confirm the service. for what it's worth, the marriott website clearly states that the hotel does NOT provide shuttle service.
Information on the TV says breakfast is on until 10am which is wrong - staff could careless. I booked this place because of the free breakfast. Area is sketchy to walk my young family for breakfast. Lost me which likely won’t put them under lol
The staff at this hotel is so awesome they could have served garden slugs for breakfast and put rocks in the pillows and it wouldn't have mattered to me. This place is simply outstanding. The suites are large and comfortable. The bathroom is huge. The bed was great. I had to live there for an entire week while doing a trial in the nearby LAX Courthouse. After being in court all day it was nice to come back to the suite where I had the option to fix my own meal in my own room, or order something in the restaurant downstairs. The room was always tidied by the time I got back. The walls are thick enough that we never heard any noise from the rooms on either side of us, and neither of our neighbors ever banged on the walls in protest to my constant coughing jags. Several of the nights, after eating dinner, I had to work to prep for the next court day. On many occasions, I had to use to the courtesy computer terminals in the lobby to print research materials and exhibits. On one occasion, the on-duty operations person spent almost an hour troubleshooting a print job that I was having difficulty with, even allowing me to email a trial exhibit to her so she could print it on her office printer. This was a very important document and she knew that I really needed it. Her name was "May" (Maylene) Paala, and she went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me. When it came time to check out, my wife was assisted by a lobby attendant named Maria, who picked up the trail of things my wife was dropping and helped her make several trips to the car. Even the maintenance people were great. We had a small issue with the motion sensor light switch in our bathroom. We called down to the desk, and maintenance was at the door in two minutes. The only recommendation I would offer is to add Adobe Acrobat to the apps available on the lobby computer so PDF files can be read and printed. If I ever have another trial at the LAX couthouse, I will definitely plan on staying at this hotel again. I give them my highest rating and recommendation!
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was nice and helpful when I had some issues with my card. And the room was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it. Only issue was the breakfast area was really crowded and could have been larger but other then that everything was great!!Will definitely stay here again!!
This hotel Is situated near LAX. Nice, modern large rooms and convenient beds. Service minded and very polite staff provides you with help and information whenever needed. Only minus, breakfast not much of an experience. If improved I would go from four to five stars.
Excellent new hotel with a lot of space. Two bathrooms, two showers. A large refrigerator. A second bedroom with bunk beds. An adequate complimentary breakfast. A bar near the pool. A very friendly and helpful staff.
We checked in to the hotel on the 3/4/2019 with no problems and enjoyed our first day around the pool and dined in your restaurant which was good, the following day we ventured around LA to take in some of the scenes then went back to the pool for a quiet afternoon in which about 5/10 local teenagers were using the pool using this one lady’s key card which I saw her hand over and said don’t tell anyone. The kids were well behaved the first day but they were not paying guests and shouldn’t of been using the facilities so we took this on the chin for that day hoping we could have a quiet day the next day, The next day we got up and had breakfast, it was supposed to be the hottest day so we decided to sit poolside and at about 11am the Pool was full of local residents again who were not staying at the property, 5 to 10 teenage boys jumping the fences to the pool area and swimming in there underwear. I asked if they could be removed but the manger said they were guests and the lady at reception said they were there friends. I was a paying resident at the hotel with the newly wife and three children trying to have a relaxing honeymoon and they were happy to move me rather then the local boys who were swearing and running riot poolside. Absolute disgrace. The manager refunded me for my last nights stay and sent us to your Manhattan TownePlace suite which was a complete downgrade with a shabby pool in the shade, we decided to not stay at this property and found a Hilton close by in which we spent $218 of money we didn’t have. Apon checking my credit card statement on return the hotel refunded my last nights stay and again took the money out a day later so I am still owed money for the last night. I can’t believe the hotel was looking out for local residents rather then hotel guests and I am absolutely shocked that we were basically forced to move and outlay more money for a service that we shouldn’t have had to pay.
