Super blessed we had a good nights sleep without a worry. The woman that checked us in was good about checking us in, guiding us with the shuttle services and our room was clean clean. Thank you a million!!!

checked out just after a few hours of stay since I saw a bed bug on the pillow! There was even a bucket on the middle of the room, I guess it was to catch the rain water leak on the roof? How is this hotel even in orbitz? Seriously! I had to wash all our clothes and shower as soon as got home so we don't spread the bed bugs in case we got one. We've got few luggage and had a room at the second floor, we had to carry them through the stairs all by ourselves, the staff didn't help at all. There's no elevator. The carpet floor is just so filthy, this place needs a deep cleaning!

This hotel has a "personality" and sure is "SoCal (Southern California) feeling! I think it is a fun place. Has HEATED pool (and I believe it is solar-heated), pool table and meeting area. Some folks perhaps don't like some of those and might explain some of the low ratings. I would recommend the hotel for young, adventurous people, business travelers, and those seeking a "southern California feel". Maybe not so much for families with those overly worrisome parents of small children. But gosh, look at the conveniences: It has a nice restaurant next to or kinda like built in to it. It has a car rental office right there. And solar heated pool. The building is aged and has seen newer days, but they keep it up well. I have stayed there twice and plan on more. When I go to Los Angeles, I march right over to Orbitz and book a room from Los Angeles Adventurer. Finally, they DO have a free shuttle with a friendly driver. It is a very nice, cozy van. Depending on where it is in its route, it CAN take long to get to you at the airport. But once you get on it, it is comfortable and fun.

Staff is the worst I have ever deal with. I would never recommend this hotel and they charged me 35 dollars cuz 14 monies late check-out. (Rate was 52 I think) lol

This was a v ery dirty hotel veey loud occupents fighting all night children running up and down screaming. There was rust in the ahower roilet not cleaned i did not stay thesecond nighti lost a 100 dollars you could notgo out afterdark alot of scarypeople hanging around . i wish that they would of refunded the money . very diseased

this place could be great if it had a security guard keeping locals out. i would not bring kids here and do not take your wallet or passport out of your pockets even in the room. many guests are broke and not have a penny to their name. and do not go for a walk even in day lite...area is not safe. free popcorn...cookies..cheap snacks..good bartenders...nice pool...rooms are old but large ...lock your windows...dont answer door if someone knocks...staff is nice...maybe to nice to locals wanting free coffee and snacks

I checked in and checked out 15 minutes later. This hotel is nasty, staff are mean and would NEVER book this one again. I WAS SCARED TO TOUCH THE BED. THE BATHROOM DOOR WAS FALLING OFF THE HINGES. ROACHES WERE CRAWLING IN THE ROOM. The pictures on Orbitz of this hotel do not tell the truth. The hotel MANAGER REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND ORBITZ HAD NO SYMPATHY AND DID NOT TRY TO INVESTIGATE NOR OFFERED MY MONEY BACK SINCE I BOOKED THROUGH ORBITZ.

I booked the room the same day I was going to stay, I did let them know I was going to check in late. When we arrived around 11pm or so the lady at the front desk had cancelled our room reservation. The lady stated that they do not rent rooms to California residents and she turned us away. Keep in mind my phone number was on the reservation along with my information they could have told me then not at time of check in. She was rude even when her co worker was telling her to let us have the room, she stated no. Why take a reservation or even be on orbitz if your are NOT going to rent room to people in CA.

Nice, and really enjoyed my stay..!would tell a freind.

Arrived just after midnight and found a kind and what they call a parking lot no where to park people sleeping in a tent people sleeping in their vehicles shuttle bus driver just looked at me and wouldn't move couldn't even get out of my car to go to track and very unsafe area! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!!!!

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Bed bugs cover the couch.

Waited an hour for the pre-arranged airport shuttle and when the driver showed up he said he was full. We had been on the phone with front desk staff and they kept saying "he'll be there in 10 more minutes". We ended up taking a Lyft at 3am (which they didn't compensate us for) and it was a terrible experience. They told us we'd have 3 queens and we ended up with 1 and a sofa bed. Never again.

Rude staff, bed bugs roaches very bad hotel really bad experience I don't recommend any one to stay there

The room was dirty, with empty bottles under the bed. The entire place smelled like marijuana. It was so bad I checked out the next morning.

The rooms were and felt dirty. Funky smell, everything was old, beds were stained and hard. Never going cheap again, would rather pay $70-80 more for a safer and clean hotel. Lesson learned.

The Adventurer is great for travelers, especially if you're just passing through for a night or two and need a cost-efficient place to stay. It had a party atmosphere and the community areas reminded us of hostels in Europe. They have all kinds of perks for guests throughout the day (free breakfast, cookies in the afternoon, champagne in the evening, popcorn all day by the pool etc) and we will definitely come back next time we're passing through LA.

Room dirty, no free breakfast menu was a lie staff was a rude!!

Checked in at 1130pm after a long international flight with my kids . Room provided was dirty .carpet dirty. bathroom shower has shaved hairs all over by the window. toilet flush work every 5minutes. Fly flying inside the room. room smelled strong paint odor you can't even breath. called up orbitz customer service and requested a full refund and was referred to see the front desk agent. was given a different room still very old room. my kids were scared as peope are drinking by the pool and smells weed smoke. checked out at 430am with me and my kids with no sleep and didn't shower at all and very hungry and was taken by shuttle to the airport and driver was speeding on the way to the airport which scared my kids. still gave driver $5 tip. I NEED A FULL REFUND OF MY MONEY FOR COMPLETE SERVICE FAILURE OF THE SERVICE I HAVE PURCHASED! Orbitz should take a very close look at this hotel and not do any business with them as this will hurt Orbitz brand and business relationship with clients.

Gnats greeted me in my room, chronics outside our doors smoking pot. The ATM machine cloned a guests card and zeroed out his account. Don't ever stay here. Very unsafe area. The cops blocked off the streets on a man hunt for someone.
