This is our new favourite place to stay in LA. An excellent hotel right next to Staples Center with a wide range of other entertainment and dining options nearby. The service was fantastic, all the staff are super friendly and genuinely interested in getting to know the guests and helping you wherever they can. Facilities like the pool and gym were well maintained and a pleasure to use. We will be back! (Special thanks to Carina in the lounge and I think it was Rich in reception for making us feel so welcome)

After moving to San Diego I decided to call The Ritz Carlton my 2nd home to find an excuse to see family and friends in town. If you are a person who ever had the experience of staying at Ritz Carlton is a must. The first class service that is provided daily from the Ritz Carlton alone is worth every dollar. I enjoy staying here at the Ritz Carton when the live sporting events are happening between basketball and hockey seasons. You are waking distance. Whenever friends come visit Los Angeles the first place I offer is the best in DTLA the Ritz Carlton. All around you have the great amenities as The Ritz Carlton Los Angeles. You have valet parking.

Man oh man this is one classy hotel. This is the kind of people place where rich people stay because they have a lot of money or people like me who are staying on business and have expense accounts to pay for it. Everything about this place is top notch and I recommend it if you can afford it.

Great location in the heart of Los Angeles. Across Staples Center and the centerpiece of the LA Live complex. The lobby/reception is small, given, but it's compensated in the adjacent JW Marriott with its soaring atrium. Staff are very attentive and go beyond any boundary to provide you your needs and wants. Beautiful, modern rooms with great views of Hollywood Hills and even Santa Monica in the distance. Ritz-Carlton Spa on Floor 2 is possibly the most luxurious experience I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. Heated tables, professional masseuse, waiting rooms with exquisite design touches and a gold-leafed shower all come together to make something you'll never want to miss. Beautiful reflecting pool and poolside lounge on 26th floor with partial views of Los Angeles. Fitness center is also located on this level. Excellent club lounge, wide array of options (unlike most club lounges that offer only water and perhaps two apples). The food here was actually much better than expected, and the views here are absolutely breathtaking. This hotel is a celebrity magnet hosting guests such as Jen Garner and the whole LA Lakers team. Overall, highly, highly recommend this hotel!

We flew in for one night from the Bay Area to attend an event at LA Live. It’s worth noting, this is small. It’s in the same building as the JW Marriott and honestly, just price compare. If you can get a great deal on JW that is less than the RC, just stay there. It’s RIGHT at Staples - you just walk out the doors, cross a pavilion of eateries and you’re at the doors to Staples Center. We stayed at the RC simply because the price diff at the time was about $160ish for the RC vs JW. The RC is on the Amex Platinum list, so with the card we get early check in (noon), breakfast for two ($70), And a $100 spa credit. Since our flight landed before noon and the food and spa credits make up the price diff, we went for the RC. Otherwise, the hotel was good! It wasn’t the best RC ever and it wasn’t the worst. Has all the standard stuff you’d expect. It’s maybe a LITTLE dated and could use some refreshing, but I don’t have any major complaints. Again, location to Staples and LA Live is the big plus. Visit NEST to eat some good bites with a great view. Had some yummy General Tso chicken - reminded me of Korean Fried Chicken.

This place is in a great location Downtown close to LA Live. The room sizes were decent and the hotel itself was everything you expect from a Ritz Carlton with amazing staff. The only thing I didn't like about this place is that its connected to the JW Mariott and you have to walk through to that place (not far) to then have any bar facilities or breakfast. This was nice and quiet and good accessibility for ports and sockets and a good base to travel around from.

I was very impressed by the expedient check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The amenities have the hotel were impressive as were the bathroom amenities. The hotel is centrally located in Los Angeles near several great restaurant and attractions. The hotel was a little pricey, about to be expected for the area. That being said I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area looking for a luxury hotel.

Smack bang in the centre of LA. Arrive at the same time as a visiting NBA team - No problem. Great team of valets at the door. Smoothly escorted to a fantastic room with spectacular views of LA. Very considerate bottle of champagne to celebrate our special trip. The lounge team were perfect hosts. Some slightly excitable guests in the neighbouring room on our last night. Completely out with the control of the hotel, but they were still gracious enough to adjust our bill.

My kids and I just spent 4 nights in a corner Executive Room with Club Lounge access at this hotel, and everything about our stay was perfect! From the amazing views to the clean hotel and rooms, to the comfortable beds and to the warm, inviting and helpful staff. The room was a good size for the 3 of us (with a rollaway bed). We loved walking across the road to the Regal cinema, and also to the Staples centre to watch both the Lakers and the Clips. The food at the club lounge was fantastic (even better than the food we had at the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage club lounge just a week prior). I also enjoyed the complimentary cocktails. We dined at the restaurant downstairs too, and really enjoyed our meal. Great that Starbucks and many other food options are in walking distance. Getting to Disneyland, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica and the airport was pretty accessible, even with traffic. The gym has great facilities and the pool area is lovely. We were also able to use the House Car to get to a nearby mall, which was really convenient and luxurious. I will definitely visit again!

Great overall experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the engaging staff in the Club, front desk, and spa. Really enjoyed WP24 for a late night dinner as well. Thank you Sarina Ocampo for all your efforts and exceptional customer service.
