This was a decent place.. room was huge, loved that.. Had a balcony, so heard a lot of the traffic. room was clean, bathroom was clean, need to upgrade on towels. Area was alright, food places all around. Close to Hollywood...

Smelly stinky place. After first night we moved to a better place. Don't take your shoes off while you are in your room. Homeless people camping outside of the hotel seemed harmless. I am serious you could find a better place for the same price.

This motel is soooo shady. The couple running the motel was chilling in a BED in the reception. The price was not suiting, since the place is old, shady, and far away from everything. The room was pretty clean when we came, but was not cleaned the 4-5 days we stayed. They only changed towels. They told us every day we would have to change room the next day..we never had to. The place smelled old carpets and weed! We also asked the couple in the reception if they could help us order a taxi or something. He replied: 'You got a cellphone?! Then you can order it yourself!'...NOT going back!

I only stayed here because I needed a hotel last min and this was the cheapest. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff literally sleeps in the window and the whole place was under construction. There was no peace or tranquility due to motors screeching and clanging all day. You have to beg for ONE extra towel and they wake you up every morning and force themselves in to 'clean' (just check the bathroom) every morning at random times. The ac was fixed so you couldnt use it to your liking and the window mesh was just a huge gaping hole. The bed was hard and both the pillows and blankets were napkin thin and smelled strange. I couldnt wait to go back home once I was there. They also have a HUGE sign at the front desk saying NO GUESTS NO EXCEPTIONS and they force your guest to check in and register their ID even if theyre only visiting for 2 seconds to bring waters up to the room. please dont stay here I was mad at myself every night for not shelling out extra hundreds just to temporarily live comfortably. ps and the wifi would die out every 3 mins

Good location if you have a car to get around, the rooms were basic but bigger than expected and clean. The staff were extremley helpful despite their limited english and quickly fixed the toilet when it stopped working. Always welcoming and smiling. If you're looking for value then relax inn motel is a great choice.

We wanted a cheap place to stay after seeing a show at the El Rey Theatre - well we got what we paid for. Overall the hotel was very clean, however it was by far my worst Motel experience. Paper Thin Towels, horrible bedding, loud HVAC window unit, bedding and pillows smelled of stale cigarettes. The surrounding area was quiet and the parking was convenient. Uber was only $4 to the El Rey. The people were very nice who operated the hotel, but that can't make up for everything.

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks for work. I found it to be a great deal for the price. The rooms are spacious (not what I was expecting from a motel at all). The wifi is fast and solid. There are lots of channels on the flat screen TV. More importantly the staff is very polite. I get the impression that most of the staff are from an Indian family (first and second generation) originally from the Mombai region of India. The rooms are very clean, and don't smell in the least. The bed is excellent. There is a pool. Every room has a microwave and refrigerator. Some of the rooms have jacuzzi tubs -- a luxury in these drought stricken times. The hotel is far better than any of the other hotels in LA I stayed at in the less than $100/night price range. The motel is also very easy to get to, located just off La Brea and San Vicente on its own little side street. Its also a great location to Beverly Hills and Downtown which are the places I had to go for work.

The room of this motel was big, nice and clean with a comfortable bed. It was better than a motel. The motel is surrounded by famous restaurants. However, this location is far from the city centre. The breakfast was not included; TV and wifi speed were fine. There was no lift in the motel and its steps caused some difficulties. Given its services, it could have offered a cheaper rate.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights in Room 31. $75 for a king bed, cable tv, in room fridge, balcony, free wifi, etc it was for sure worth it. The owners were super nice and accomadating. The room was spotless. Check out is at 10:30am. Overall - I personally thought this place was great for the money. I would stay here again if i was in the area.

Having stayed in the south part of LA, this area was not bad. Regarding the motel, it had a nice bed and they changed towels every day. The shower was clogged and I had to take the filter out so the water could leave. The chain of the toiler broke so we had to fix it ourselves with a rope.
