Stayed for a month got to know the place really well. Pros, tenth floor staying high in the sky lets one soar. Amazing huge 4k smart tv. Royal blue modular luxurious couch, definitely one of my all time favorite couches. Soundproof walls. The right taste of decor accessories for an opulent spirit. Great host. Lisa was super friendly and relatable and went above and beyond to help me out with anything I needed. She even ordered a whole new bed set for me delivered to the door :)
Cons, metro station entry is directly below the window, lots of homeless people stay there and can be obnoxiously loud (tenth floor helps a lot with this), lighting in room wasnt as bright as represented in the pictures. If you like dim, warm lighting this place is for you. I prefer super bright spaces and some brighter lights should definitely be added to the space. I suggest every sirbnb owner should invest in some multicolored led strips, they're really cheap on amazon and bring a whole vibe especially in a highrise dtla loft. I recommend night sky galaxy projectors too, the whole vibe. It doesnt cost much to make a place really special if one has the right ideas! The shower gets really hot and great pressure but there were about 5 days total throughout the month that there was barely any hot water.

Nice place, horrible area
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a month. The place itself is very clean and nice. Very well furnished. What we did not enjoy were the surrounding areas around the apartment complex. The apartment is only a few blocks from skid row (about a 2 minute drive). From the parking to the apartment complex, you have to pass through a bus stop and a metro entrance. Nearly every time we passed through this area we were harassed by a homeless man who stays there. We were consistently asked if we wanted to purchase drugs as we walked through this area and saw many people smoking meth. During our stay, someone was stabbed directly outside of the apartment complex and we watched them get put on a stretcher. Another time, someone was getting arrested for carrying a gun. As a woman, it’s not safe to walk through that area alone. I got harassed numerous times. I would not recommend this area to any family, as it was not safe. Although there is monthly parking available next to the complex, it is 300 dollars and must be purchased on the first day of the month, otherwise, you will have to pay twice. If you do not want to do this, you will find yourself paying 40 dollars per 24 hours of stay and more on the weekends, which adds up very quickly. Pershing square, which is directly next to the apartment building, hosts loud concerts on Saturday and Sunday. The rehearsals began at 9am and then they play loud music over the speakers all throughout the day until 10pm. Roach problem in dishwasher.
