Great hotel. Walking distance to walk of fame, short drive to universal & warner bros studio. Short ride to hike to Hollywood sign. Staff was helpful & very friendly. 101 cafe was delicious! Cute & kitschy.
The diner and bar are worth the stay alone. Good location for sight seeing
Good local. Good cafe and bar. Two buildings. And our elevator was broken our last 2 days
More pricey than other similar options but worth the extra cost. My room was big and clean, sheets were new and soft. The bed was a bit lumpy but not too bad. Wifi is fast once you're connected, but connecting to it was often frustratingly difficult. The coffee shop is great and a must visit if you stay here.
We enjoyed the stay at this Best Western Hotel. The location is what attracted us there. So close to the Hollywood strip and minutes away from all the fun. The only dislike we had was that we could hear everything our neighbors would do. Any movement or laughter, we would be able to hear. That made it extremely difficult to sleep at night. But overall, I would recommend this spot to a friend. Just don't forget your ear plugs...
Enjoyable relaxing. Hotel staff were nice and room with two beds were pretty big. Wish I could've stayed longer.
Place is nice, the only issue is the pillows they are so thick I couldn't use one. That is the first time I have had that issue at a hotel.
We stayed over night for surgery I was having the next day, not a vacation stay. Much different Best Western than what we are used to , but it was in Hollywood, so it fit perfect for the city. Big room, big bathroom a little bit of traffic noise , but the a/c fan helps drown it out. Lots of pictures of Hollywood past stars. It is close to the Hollywood sites. If you are wanting to experience Hollywood in close, this site is perfect. It was cool!
You just never know what you are going to get but the staff was friendly, valet service was a plus and the room was very clean and modern.
My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it so we booked here again and we were so disappointed! We didn't know that there are two sides to the hotel and the last time we stayed in the lobby side (the nice side). We stayed in the other side this time, it was LOUD! The walls are thin, the room was right next to the stairs so we heard foot traffic all day and night and the room next door which was an attached room, had a couple chain smoking in it with the smoke filling up our room! The attendants seem to think we were lucky to get the room we got, said it was a really nice room. Not the case. I recommend this hotel only if you stay in the lobby side, it's like a different hotel altogether. I've learned my lesson to call ahead and request the lobby side and never the pool side!!
Location is the key for this place! For the price, you can't find a better deal. Staff was very friendly too.
Hotel was great, location was perfect to walk and hit some great site seeing places.
I sincerely recommended, people there is very nice and gentle helping you with good advised for principal attraction to see in the area, also rooms are clean and comfy. if you want to experience the trip with all Hollywood style check out decoration hotel and also don't forget to pass by the restaurant is very delicious and good price.
Great hotel within walking distance from all the major Hollywood sites, like the walk of fame, chinese theatre, etc. I only stayed for a night because I was in the middle of a business meeting, but if I go back to LA, will definitely stay here. There are cool framed photos reminiscent of the good ole Hollywood days in the lobby, hallway, and room. My room was next to the main road, so I guess it was not as quiet, but it didn't really bother me. Was impressed that the bathroom had two sinks.
I was visiting my brother, a student at AFI. The location was perfect for Hollywood sights. Great food in the cafe. The hotel and cafe are retro 60s/70s, but clean, attractive, great amenities. Nice staff.
Overall hotel is great, rooms are clean, convenient cafe very close, close to the tourist areas and staff is very nice.
Other than the outrageous parking prices ($15 a day?!) this hotel was awesome. It's close to everything in Hollywood, has a very attentive staff and the rooms are great. My room was incredibly comfortable and had a nice large bathroom, plus kitchen area. I had absolutely no complaints. The restaurant downstairs is also great with good food and great service, average prices. Very easy to start my day there with breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.
I have stayed at the HH Hotel many times over the years, and was happy to see the improvements that have been made, especially concerning parking. The "new" HH is certainly one of the best centrally located Hollywood hotels, easy to find and from there access all the things we love about LA. The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and willing to assist in whatever way you needed. The 101 Café still rocks at 3 a.m. and is a really convenient place for breakfast or a late night snack.
Amazing rooms and decor throughout the hotel. Small but quaint!
Overall good experience. Like the Hollywood theme decor throughout hotel. There are two separate building. The rooms located where the lobby is are larger and nicer. may cost a little more but worth it.
