This hotel desperately needs an update. Not a 4 Star hotel

The computers were down at check in so I had to wait 20 minutes in the lobby before I was given a room. I had reserved a king room but the computer would only let them assign a double bed room. Once in the room it smelled like urine.

my room was not clean. hole in sheets. hair on pillowcase. then water from an overflowing bathtub from above my room came pouring into my room about 1/2 after arriving. The hotel did not offer me another room or any discount. Instead they wanted to send someone up to begin getting the water out of the carpet while I was still in the room. After just traveling for a day, the last thing I wanted was someone making noise in my room. The phones were broken (message button would not turn off). Got a few calls from hotel staff which woke me up from a nap just to see if everything was ok. Apparently, housekeeping does not talk to other departments. Very dissapointed especially considering the cost of the room.

Although we had problems with our room the staff did everything possible to make it better. They were amazing and all problems were solved!!

Overall great stay but 1 major complaint: We ordered room service for two one night but we had nowhere to sit together in the room to enjoy our dinner!!! The desk can accomodate 1 person and the second person had to eat on the bed! And this was a double room with double occupancy, not just a single room with a guest for dinner! Usually they would bring some sort of roller table or something so the 2 guests can eat their dinner together. This was a huge let down coming from a luxury hotel.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, shopping, Rodeo Drive and nice restaurants. The beds are uncomfortable.

Very beautiful hotel however, frustrating that the bar closed before 11 each night when it was supposed to be open until 1am. Talked to others who were staying there filming and said bartender had been closing early the weeks they had been there. We wanted to catch up with friends and had to leave or go up in the room. When you spend that kind of money, you expect to get service the hours posted.

Very well located hotel! 20 minutes away from Universal studio Hollywood and 25 minutes only from LAX airport!

Top notch staff and a five-star treatment. Rooms are not all that, but the beds are super comfy.
