Everything is good but . Next time we like to stay in anather hotel

I thought this hotel was a very good deal considering what it costs to stay in L. A. It's an older building in a residential neighborhood. You need to drive to get to anything but it has parking. It is well maintained by a caring staff.

WE were transferred without advance notice to another hotel in common ownership . Replacement hotel had a wet rug and broken air conditioner and hair dryer. Most unimpressive.

The rooms are clean and the Dunes Hotel is not like a big chain the hotel did not have breakfeast in the morning but that was ok for me perhaps I would of like fresh coffee made but I ran out to starbucks which is somewhat of a hassle. The internet was easy to get on and it was fast. I also was able to get Netflix no problem. The Staff was very helpful. There is parking available. I will stay at this Hotel again when I am in LA.

The hotel did its job in terms of providing a clean, reliable room. If you are expectations are modest then this hotel will do nicely. I only had positive experience with the staff who was nice and treated me well.

We've stayed here many times and this was probably the nicest room. New bathroom, carpet, and window shutters. Bed was O.K. Pool is nice but unheated. Staff helpful but businesslike. Parking is included but spaces are tight. This visit's room rate was the most expensive since we have been staying there.

Ir was good for the price, great location and last minute reservation.....close by Hollywood and universal studios

The only thing that needs improvement is the stained carpets in the room and paint on the walls. I am a frugal traveler but inside the rooms the smell of the VERY old carpets and the stained walls make it look like one of those scary hotels in the movies. Staff was nice, bathrooms very clean! Nice little pool and great location.

Just needed a room to get some rest for the night. The carpet was dirty & room smelt old, but I was able to sleep well so that's all that matter. Wasn't bad for a quick late night.

Pretty run down, prob the only place where I recived a tv remote control at checkin ( you guys really hav a problem with people stealing tv remotes?) otherwise pretty dated, loud, and average in everyway.. Worked fine for 3 nt business trip, don't bring anyone here your trying to impress lol

I could tell the hotel in it's prime, would have been a treat. But now, it's more than tired, with exceedingly loud air- con, noisy pipes, weak internet. I wanted to like the place but it was hard.

This hotel is located in an excellent location and they have their own parking garage which is great. The employees were not strict with us having two cars (for free). Checking in and out was really easy. The only thing that sucks is that the bathroom light and shower was very noisy and the walls are so thin! We could hear banging and talking from the room next to us easily. It was quite hard to sleep through all that noise.

This hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. As one of his own staff even mentioned, the hotel owner really needs to upgrade the rooms. Tv's are the old boxy ones, carpets not vacumed well, the bed sunk too much, and did i really want to walk outside by the pool to use the microwave that was outside?, and please whats the deal with no hair dryer in the rooms? The owner should save his money, because if he continues to try to conserve it his way, he is gonna start loosing it quickly. I would not stay there again. Listen to your staff.

The people were friendly but its kind of weird that they never had access to clean towels both times that we asked for them. they said that the house keeper was gone

Noisy, smelly, unfriendly staff. This is not a three star hotel. This is like motel 6. Would not recommend it.

Rooms clean, shower works. I spent most my vacation outsude. This was my second stay at Dunes Inn

Good for people who wants to be near K-town. The pool was under construction, but it was too cold for the pool anyway.

Worst hotel ever, attendant was rude, room smelled bad, pool was not available. If you like over paying being mad and frustrated about the hotel you chose then this is the right one. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

Was in town for a business conference. Check in was OK at best. Rooms had odor in them could not really determine what it was but it git you every time you came in from the outside. Asked for Iron when tried to use it on MAX heat could be held in your hand. Pool area was under construction - Construction crew started at 6:30 AM so much for guest rest. No availability to ice as it was in the pool area.

this hotel locates perfect posotions for my trip and very clean room too..
