Pros: Upon arrival in LA. Manny made the first impression by setting standards of personally showing us where the Dekkadence restaurant was. They were closing in 30 minutes but still seated us and served us hot and fresh food. Gerardo at Dekkadence was our server. He was so polite and gave us pointers on things to enjoy while in LA. The corner suite 5103. Was amazing! The view was stunning and we could see the Hollywood sign from there. Room service was great and the breakfast was absolute perfection! Room service was well worth the money! The pool was heated and pool bar servers were great. The roof top lounge and the bar on the 70th floor was very grown and sexy and swanky! The food was great at the bar also. Honestly it was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The La Boucherie restaurant on 71st floor was VERY expensive but was worth the experience. It was $400 for 2 people. It was very close walking distance to other food restaurants as well as 2 small shopping plazas. The robe and slippers were very comfy. Cons: Our hotel suite had 2 fist size burns in carpet. There was no ice machine on the floor in the hallways. The room iron ruined 2 dresses, I had to go to H&M nearby to buy a new dress. I called concierge to bring a shaving kit (razor) for my husband and we never received it. It took 1.5 hours for the bellman to bring our luggage to our room. I had to call and give a description of what it looked like so they could notify a manger.

Nice hotel but not that quiet since it’s located in Downtown.

The stay was amazing. The hotel had amazing views and the hotel staff was nice and welcoming.

There was a consistent issue with the elevator access to the lobby and the keys not working.

I had called the property in advance to find out about their parking and was told by their staff it’s free and while I was checking out I was hit with a bill of $250. After I had told them I called to clarify before I booked the hotel and the only reason I booked it was due to the free parking. They couldn’t do anything about it because they can’t confirm if one of their staff said that. Not something I would expect from a premium property like that to penalize a customer after giving them the wrong info. Most likely will never visit or recommend anyone this property. Also way too many elevators to take to get your room.

Love the location and vibe

Nice hotel; we were expecting per a gibber room but is was very small

The views from the lobby on the 70th floor are beyond amazing. There was nothing unpleasant about the stay at all. I look forward to another stay in the future!

Water pressure was terrible from the previous time I was a guest about a month ago. When I checked in, the room I received wasn’t ready. I immediately had to go to the front desk to let them know. They put me in a new room. It was hard to get a hold of someone at the front desk when I needed something. I understand that it was a busy week due a concert in the area, however, the hotel seemed severely understaffed for the amount of guests staying at the hotel.

Breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. Other than that, it was generally good.

Car was vandalized in valet parking over the weekend.

Beautiful room views!

The views from this place are awesome, the rooms are pretty cool and modern. Most of the staff were nice and approachable. Our room was okay, I think they didn’t get to cleaning it completely and saw some wine glasses left outside our room and some pillow cases left on the bed.

I reserved the deluxe room for 11 nights. This is not the standard one, it is a more expensive one, and we paid $300 /night with the resort fee. To be honest we are not going to stay in this hotel again, and this is due to the following reasons: 1- First, when we entered the room, there was a round marble table which was extremely dirty. It was disgusting. I called and ask them to send someone to clean it. It results that the table has stains on it, which don't come out. This is unacceptable at a hotel of such characteristics. 2- Second, the worse one of all. They charged us $54 per day for the parking. This is a RIPOFF. We ended up paying over $600 only for parking. This is RIDICULOUS. 3- Third, one night we went to have dinner at Spire 73, the rooftop restaurant/bar. We ordered one of each appetizer. They were average at best. For entrees, we ordered a bone in rib eye and filet mignon, medium rare. The filet was ok but the rib eye came out well done. We asked the waiter to fix it but he said the kitchen was closed and that he would call a manager. The alleged food and beverage manager (Linette) came out with an attitude and told us she would not take the steak back because we had eaten a piece of it. I explained to her that we were six people and that we would obviously have to cut the steak into a few pieces to try it. She refused to take the steak back and she told me if you hadn't eaten This is our last time at this hotel.

I love my stay, all the staff was awesome!!
