I stayed 1 night at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how new and well-planned this structure is. The views from the 70th story lobby were amazing. Panoramic views of LA and the Hollywood sign. The gym was amazing stylish and cool, the best I have ever seen at a hotel. However there were some down points. The rooftop bar, one of the signature amenities was closed for rain, but there was no rain. Also, Sunday night the restaurant, the second bar, and room-service items were not available. $7 water seemed a bit much, given we would have to either not drink bottled water or leave the hotel to have some. Maybe a bottle on the house for an IHG member like myself? That felt a little bit like I was captive to their pricing. Parking options were also a bit much, only valet and $48. I don't know if that was daily or not. If it was not, again $48 seems a lot for a member parking overnight.

Beautiful hotel, would love to go back any time.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful new hotel with breathtaking views of L.A. area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Getting to your room floor is a bit annoying since it requires two elevator rides. Check in staff was a bit rude and condescending after they noticed we booked through Orbitz. I had called to request an early check in due to arriving in L.A. very early in the morning. I was told it was not a problem and a room would be ready. The desk clerk commented that they don't allow early check in for guest who book through Orbitz. They ultimately let me check in but made me feel like I was a lower tier guest.

Asked for bowls for my service dog. We had to wait for 4 hours.

The hotel was beautiful, I really enjoyed how nice the staff were

Very clean and safe place to stay DTLA . Stayed on 55 floor had lovely view of LA to wake up to .

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. It almost felt like being on a cruise as friendly as the staff was. That said, Valet was a bit of an hassale. Having to go down 70 floors to only walk to a different elevator to go down another to parking to wait for your car. Why not just call to have it ready once you come down?. If I had to do it all over again, I would.

it was great. love it nice view but i don't like the lobby is at 70 fl.

It was a nice enough hotel, though given the exorbitant price(s), I've stayed at far better. No complimentary water bottles in the room, yet plenty of beverages for sale in the room's fridge (and no room for anything else in the fridge except for the items for sale). A simple salmon and mashed potatoes dinner for two (with one side of asparagus), and a pair of drinks, was $150 before the tip. A standard breakfast buffet was $85 for two. On check in, I was given a "free drink ticket" for the rooftop bar, yet it would not cover a basic mixed drink (was told by the bartender to use it for a beer). I get that the room's rate was undoubtedly increased way up due to the convention, but I felt as though everything else was priced twice as much as it should be as well. The service was fine, yet not so exemplary as to justify the outrageously high prices. I've stayed at many expensive hotels: this one just seems to have increased the prices for the sake of increasing them as high as they felt they could get away with, and simultaneously skipped on many of the small details that could have made for a much more pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel with great location and friendly staff. Highly recommend if wanting to stay in downtown LA!

Easy to get car out of valet - super friendly and helpful. Checkin was quick and the room was amazing.

So fabulous!!!! Crazy priced for the quality. We had free drinks and a beautiful room with a view. The pool was even more fabulous than the hotel

only problem I had to find the entrance. otherwise, it is beautifully comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel and roof top are gorgeous.

Disapointted with management. The wedding party was not allowed to take group pictures in the business lounge even though there were no other guests there.

The rooms are excellent and the hotel of course. The staff are nice specially all the receptionist. Oh! The foods are great too.
