The room Number 747 ! Is a triple room - right next door to the lift. This can be heard - up & down - it bangs quite loudly - up to midnight - then starts again - the earliest that awoke me was 5.40? I asked at reception - does anyone ever mention this constant noise? Yes she said - in fact ALL the triple rooms are right next to the lift - on each floor? We were on the 7th floor- which actually is right next door, to the lift. I think if it was just one night - you would be able to put up with this . We were staying 3 nights in London- so by the 3rd morning - We had not slept that well !

Room in good condition. Lighting awful. Bright lights only. Heating on all the time and unable to control it. It was very hot and uncomfortable all night even with window open in December. I noticed many people had their windows open. Shower awful. It was a pathetic trickle. Reception staff need a customer care course. Breakfast good and tables cleared very efficiently.

Very comfortable beds and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel has a great location (although park side was a bit loud - we arrived on a Sunday and it was quite lively with people and emergency vehicles). Would highly recommend!

Loved my stay at Tavistock, the location was awesome with lots within walking distance, including many bus stops, underground and train stations. The hotel was very clean, good water pressure in the shower and lovely hand, body and hair wash products provided. Bonus points for the pub and restaurant in the building meaning those really cold nights I didn't have to go outside after dinner.

Hotel was great. We slept too late and missed breakfast. Only issue is our room, 119, was across from a staff access room and we heard the door banging all morning. Obviously wasn’t too disruptive as we slept until 11:30.
