We were welcomed to the hotel with beautiful service. Both Marta, the front desk manager, and Adella the guest services manager welcomed us and would then stop us as we passed through the lobby during our stay to make sure that everything was satisfactory. You have a choice of the fragrance you would like in your room upon arrival and an extensive pillow menu. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and quiet. The location was ideal for us near Marble Arch, Hyde Park, and Oxford Street. I felt like I received the best value for money at the Montcalm of any hotel I have stayed at recently.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Montcalm during a recent stopover in London. I had done a lot of research beforehand and the Montcalm came up on multiple sites as highly recommended. I was definitely not disappointed! I booked a Club Double room - the room itself was fairly good sized by London standards. Bathroom was also a decent size. With the Club Room you also have access to the lounge which was nice in the morning when you wanted some caffeine and a quick bite. One of my requirements for a hotel room is that it be quiet - the Montcalm definitely checked off this requirement. Staff at the front desk were helpful - I would definitely stay at the Montcalm again!

I am from the US and spent a weekend at the Montcalm traveling from India to Europe. The service was exceptional, especially that of Vera Sirghi who checked me and then followed up with any service I needed. In short, I was HER customer, not just the hotel's. The entire stay was terrific and management definitely know what they are doing. Vera was exceptional, but every member of staff was competent, helpful and welcoming.

After a long day at work or shopping- too tired to go out- try the Room Service. Food was hot and tasty and arrived quickly. Equally- the bar food and restaurants in the hotel are excellent. Our rooms were well decorated and very clean. I have stayed in this hotel many times and will return.

If your looking for a centrally located hotel that the service one would expect of a 4 Star Boutique Hotel seriously look no further than The Montcalm.. The hotel is located approximately100 meters from the bustling Marble Arch. The simple cul de sac entrance is inviting when entering warming. Situated in the entrance is a quaint meeting area and bar offering refreshments, next to the entrance is a dining room for breakfast and other meals an exquisite restaurant and the buffet breakfast has what you'd need. The Club lounge on L6 was a bit disappointning, dark, too warm and soul less, I have to say I was expecting something more it was rather dreary and one whole wall of TV's didn't help. From the check-in to being escorted by the charming fItalian female receptionist to your 4 star room, this is a well polished example of what service is all about, very helpful and efficient staff, from arrival to departure The Montcalm delivers. In fact Ms Adella Makdessi's excellent pre and post check in correspondence was above par, she's also very professional and sweet when you meet her in person. My room on the 4th floor was well appointed and around 28 sq meters - modern with a nice large rain shower in the bathroom. The only thing I perhaps might add is an adjustable mirror with additional lighting as the bathroom is a little dark, the scale was also hard to read.. The Hermes toiletries were pleasant and replenished. The room is complete with a Nespresso coffee machine ( I asked for extra and it was provided) and mini bar with alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks ( which I didnt use) I was surprised there was no ironing board or iron though. More complimentary water would have been nice. I was met with a personalized hand written note and a fruit basket, which was thoughtful of Adella. The room has no blackout curtains behind the main curtains but has sheers, and AC but I had to use the chair to keep the curtains from opening as it let the light in. The bed was big but honestly not super comfortable, it seemed to be two beds joined together as it had a lump or ridge in the middle so you have to sleep one side or the other. The only little thing I’d change here are the pillows which are lumpy and are very soft, and a suggestion would be to make the sleeping experience perfect the addition of a Pillow Menu with top quality pillows. After all you're paying for 'sleep' The room has a wardrobe, safe and all the appointments one would expect of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful. This hotel also has a very tiny gym. As a gym junkie I need a good gym for my daily workouts so I didn't use this as it was being used when I wanted to use the machine. The hotel really doesn't have enough space to put any more equipment to satisfy my needs and for this reason I'd not be back. I also tried to book the spa for a treatment but it was always full. The Montcalm is hard to beat 4 star experience in terms of value for money and location and the staff really make the difference.

Great upscale hotel. Excellent service. Friendly staff, went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival. Beautiful rooms; well equipped for international visitors. Will return to this hotel in future trips. Loved the location; short distance to shopping and food. Walking distance to Hyde park.

I stayed at the Marble Arch for one night, from start to finish I can not fault my stay here! The hotel has great facilities the pool sauna etc are great. Location amazing 2 minute walk and you're right on oxford street. The doormen are so friendly and always willing to help you. The guest experience manager Isabella was amazing. We stayed in the Park Lane suite which was stunning!! I highly recommend this hotel has to be my favourite hotel that I've stayed in, in London!! 100% recommend!

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was lucky enough to get a half price offer here for myself and my American clients via Booking.com. The welcome was great as we were all given a class of Prosecco while we carried out the check in formalities. The finish of the hotel was amazing - none of us had even felt such plush carpet! The single rooms were average in size and outlook though. The location is amazing, literally 30 seconds walk and your are on Oxford Street, so the usual high price is worth it for that.

I had originally booked this hotel on high hopes for myself and partner, and wow! Our expectations were exceeded by a mile! We arrived and checked in, and were offered prosecco which we were happy to accept. As one of the team members took us up to our room, she was asking about what we had planned for the night... we had a reservation booked at the Hawksmoor, one of our favourite places. She then went to say that she had a surprise for us and said that we have been upgraded to the WOW suite! We certainly were surprised! And it was a fantastic our getaway! A lovely four poster bed, very comfy, and we both fell in love with the pillows! There was a bottle of champagne for us on ice, along with some treats and a note from the guest experience team which was a lovely touch. There were also rose petals on our bed. We'd only been in the hotel for 15 minutes and we were blown away by how everyone treated us in such a caring way. It was such a great stay, even just for one night that we both decided that we would certainly return and already started to plan when, looking like the end of July! I have to say special thanks to Izabela (guest experience manager) who emailed me the weekend before our stay and asked what our occasion was and if there was anything she could do help. And thank you so much for making our stay a memorable one and to all the other members of staff. We look forward to returning in July once we have confirmed dates!

what a wonderful hotel in a fantastic location. Spent 4 days in April 2017 here with my teenage daughter and we were incredibly well looked after. This was my daughter's first trip to London and it was to celebrate her birthday. The hotel went out of their way to make my daughter's stay special: balloons in the room, happy birthday written on the bed with rose petals, complimentary soft drinks and a beautiful birthday cake! Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and the location is well suited for a trip with teenagers: walking distance to Oxford Street for some retail therapy, 15 minute walk to Madame Tussaud (please book online for that to avoid queues!), and every other sights just a short bus or underground ride away. We loved our 4 days at the Montcalm and will definitely choose to stay here again when we return to London.
