With the Jubilee line (which takes you to 20 minutes to Bond Street, 35 minutes to Westminster..) and many bus lines (20 minutes to Notting Hill / Portobello), great transport links to explore London.
A supermarket, butcher, fishmonger, many delis, cafes, bakery (Gail's) restaurants (Japanese, Italian, Indian, Middle Eastern, Brazilian,...) , pubs, bars are within a 10 minutes walk from the house.
