This is the kind of comfortable two-star experience you like when you do't intend to spend much time in the room. I'd recommend it highly on that basis. Staff was very friendly and helpful (if a bit busy). Room was clean and orderly, nice decoration for a two star and quiet when the window was closed. The nearby shared bath was bright with nice fixtures and kept clean. The location was perfect--near St Pancras station and a lot of nice eating places, but not so near the bustle becomes intrusive. The only drawbacks were that the room was in a building separate from the main desk and down a winding set of hallways, stairs, half-steps (AKA trip hazards) and low overheads in the basement. If you are at all mobility compromised, it might be difficult, especially with bags. Staff was very kind to help me carry my bag without my asking. Also, because of the basement location, street noise was a bit intrusive late at night when the below-pavement-level window was open, which was necessary because there was no AC. Still these factors would not in any way prevent me from staying here again. Recommended.

The Princess Hotel – St Pancras is a truly unique hotel with exceptionally kind, compassionate, and helpful staff. From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming, informative, and always ready to assist, which made our stay feel very comfortable. What I especially loved about this hotel was the location. It’s within easy walking distance to St Pancras train station, taxi stands, plenty of food options, and even a friendly, inexpensive marketplace. This convenience made getting around London so much easier. I would highly recommend this hotel to families, budget-conscious travelers, and anyone planning to use public transportation. The combination of great service and excellent location makes it a wonderful choice for a stay in London.

Ideal hotel, literally 2 mins walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras. Very welcoming reception staff, and cases stored before check in and placed in our room. Room was clean with small sink and tea/ coffee making facilities. We were only able to get a room with shared bathroom but this was no issue at all

The area was very walkable, Kings Cross and St. Pancras station were a five minute walk away. My room, and the shared bathroom, were clean. I had towels available, kettle and a hair dryer too. The little details were not missed.

Great stay

Our stay here was very pleasant. The room was small but comfortable and had what we needed - the sink in the room was great to have. The room and shared bathrooms were really clean and the bathrooms were very quiet so we had no issue with using them when we needed. The staff member who checked us in was nice and efficient. We were able to leave our keys in the room after checking out which was nice. The location was great - right by the Kings cross and felt pretty safe. The only downside was that the twin beds felt very small. Overall our stay was pleasant for a very reasonable price.
