Special request for invoice was made at the night before check-out. Totally different thing that I got upon check-out. Receptionist could only say she misunderstood the request and couldn't do anything about it.

I expected more from the Mercure. The room i was in was very small - almost too small for the bed. It was a real squeeze getting round the bed and difficult to work at the desk. The TV was really small and on the wall at a height so difficult to view. The breakfast was pretty standard, the poached eggs not great.

Great Central location we walked everywhere from here. Nearby to Regents Park and also stroll to Kings Cross and Regents Canal. We checked in quickly and we were given complementary wine to our rooms as my parents were members of Mecure. Rooms were very pleasant. Comfortable beds I had a small double which was ideal for me. Shower and bathroom were lovely with plenty of toiletries. No noise from the road at all. We didn't have breakfast in our room rate but felt the 10 pound charge was great value. Full English buffet available and cereal and continental as well. There is a Marco Pierre White New York and Italian style restaurant attached but we ate out at Regents Canal roughly 20 minute walk. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

Friendly, efficient, no-fuss hotel. Clean and well equipped room, prompt room service. Front desk was very helpful. Great location for the Underground and other attractions, restaurants. Will definitely consider using this place again.

We have been charged twice by the same reservation and even their acknowledging Mercure does not shows much interest in solving it. His whole system of complaints is in the hands of machines and once someone from the establishment -only after insisting several times- responds and is to say that this is not his problem. No matter if you belongs to Le Accord Club, it's nothing usefull. This chain is totally depersonalized and their staff very little involved. Not the best hotel to have problems.

The hotel is located only about a 2-5 minute walk to the Underground, which is great. It is also only 1 block away from Russell Square. My room was about 50 square feet, so TINY!! The shower isn't set in a good enclosure and it's flush with the floor so it gets very wet. The room was a bit musty. Also, 1/2 nights the hotel failed to make the schedule wake up call. The breakfast was 10 pounds and decent.

A warm welcome for the time we arrived, staff were attentive, a nice quiet room with a very comfortable large bed. Great location for our needs. Great breakfast choices. A evening drink in the bar was comfortable and a great place to people watch.

I got a room upgrade due to me being a Accor platinum card holder it was very nice and comfortable. there is 2no tube stations only a 5 minute walk away on the main Piccadilly line. The Piccadilly line also takes to directly from Heathrow for only £6.00 each way. You can also walk to Covent garden 7 Soho in just over ten minutes

I visit London several times per year for both business and pleasure. After trying various Accor locations, I have found the Mercure Bloombury meets my needs perfectly. Rooms are smallish but when you are in London who spends time in the room? Staff is very welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. Front desk and concierge are helpful. Location is perfect. I look forward to my next stay later this month.

Myself and my partner booked a 1 night stay here as we were attending 2 shows and I must say the proximity was ideal. Tube was very close by and plenty of bars and restaurants around. Nice comfy bed and room was fresh and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed with the room as it was TINY! The smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. I'd have just about managed if it was me on my own but it really wasn't big enough for 2 people. Having said that for one night I can't complain, just wouldn't stay again if it was going to be for a few days.
