We had a great stay at Marlin Apartments London Bridge – Empire Square. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, tourist sites, and public transportation. One of the highlights was the amazing view of The Shard right from our apartment! The space is perfect for families, with a mini kitchen, fridge, washer/dryer, iron, and other helpful appliances. It can be a bit pricey, but still more affordable than many nearby hotels. Biggest downside: there’s no air conditioning, which can be a serious issue during warmer months. The elevators are also small and tend to get crowded. Overall, a convenient and comfortable choice in central London—just be mindful of the summer heat and elevator delays.

The view from the apartment is fantastic and our family of four appreciated having a second bathroom. The location is great and we were able to walk to everything - Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, etc. There's a Tesco next door and a great pub, The King's Arms, within easy walking distance. The only drawback was that we were there for a couple of hot days in June and the apartment does not have air conditioning. Otherwise, lovely.

Quite a step up from a hotel, with fully working kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. View from balcony was nice. Friendly check in experience. Good central location near the Underground allowed us to get to most sites within a half hour.

I arrived at 3:00 PM but couldn’t check in. I booked the hotel one or two months in advance, yet the two rooms weren’t on the same floor, separating me from my family. The third floor reeked of marijuana despite the no-smoking policy, and the room lacked air conditioning, making it stuffy and hot.

Although the apartment was very clean and spacious the service and signs weren’t the best. Getting there after a 3 hour drive we were met with a very unhelpful guy on reception. He gave us a map of how to get to the car park. It’s pointless. Put the Royal Oak pub in your Sat Nav instead. The maps as useful as a chocolate teapot. Once you get there, there are no signs telling you where to park or any access to the building, unless someone from reception lets you in. The chap on reception wasn’t friendly and was not interested in my email where I had requested a specific room. We were too tired and just wanted to rest. His responses were almost a ‘if you don’t like it stay elsewhere’. The 2 other gents we spoke to at reception, whilst we were there, were the opposite. Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Only caught one of their names. Jay. The location itself is good. Walking distance to Borough Market and the underground. Tesco’s next door, if you need things for your stay.

Very clean and spacious! Staff was friendly and check-in/out process was very easy. Location was a bit far from the main attractions but the metro station was about a three minute walk from the hotel so we were able to travel around quite easily.
