I was here on business and I really liked the apartment, it was spacious, it was very clean and well appointed. Staff was really helpful with giving me some directions. There are a lot of places to eat around and it is very quiet too. I will add Marlin on my to go to list for future. I have only rated 4 star as there is no air conditioning, but perhaps it is not needed much in London, only few weeks a year pehaps
The apartment was very large comparing with a hotel room, full kitchenette, separate living room and very good water pressure in the shower. Clean, modern and spacious and friendly staff. I was visiting friends and it was very handy to be able to invite them for dinner as there was enough space. There are many places that can fill up your time in the area and it is very lively in the evening. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you!
This is one of the best apartments we stayed in London so far. Had a separate living area and 2 bathrooms, one door each bedroom.we had some trouble with the TV when we checked in but they very helpful and responsive and they changed this immediately with a new smart TV. I think they are. changing more as we have seen TV boxes on the corridors during the day. There were 2 fans in the apartment if it gets hot. Check in was quick, they asked for £200 security deposit. We had a late train so we paid for a late check out. Staff attentive and courteous, surely we will return here
Lovely located apartment and very nicely furnished. The staff was very good, Aurei was going over and beyond to keep us happy, he provided and extra fan as well. Plenty of places for dinner around and the lovely Borough Market close by. Would return but not in the hot months as there is no air conditioning.
Our friends recommended we are staying here when we come to London and we are so glad we took their advice. We arrived at Gatwick and there was a direct train to London Bridge which was very close to the hotel. We are a family of 5 and the 2 bedroom apartment suited us very well. There was a sofa bed in the living room that was used by our eldest and he was very happy about it. Many attractions close by, but good links to Central London too. The staff was helpful and friendly and the cleaning was very good. It is now our turn to recommend this place to others.
It was a fantastic stay. I will definitely come back. Nice and friendly staff; newly renovated apartments, new Smart TV in my one bedroom apartment, good location. I'm very happy I choose Empire Square.
I stayed at Marlin Apartments a few years back, then again last month. It was a pleasant experience as the staff is lovely, especially Mihaela, Doina and Anna. These girls checked us in and been extremely kind. Then the room was spacious and modern. I liked this apartment more than the ones I had before. Cleaning once a week. Location is perfect. Borough station 2 minutes walk and London Bridge station 5 minutes walk.
Brilliant apartment, good location, fresh, clean and modern- reasonable price. Visiting London with my daughter. They had no 2 bedroom appts remaining so booked 1 bedroom with fold down sofa in lounge area- adequate for our needs! Concerned to find on arrival no pillows/linen for the sofa bed. When we requested linen were advise of additional cost of £50/night for extra linen- despite mentioning requirements at booking- they expect my 25yo daughter to sleep in a double bed with me! Really !!!! In the end we declined their extortionate money grabbing scam and slept without any bedlinen- not ideal. I have used many hotels around the UK and indeed tonight I’m in a different hotel suite with bedroom, kitchen and lounge, with my wife and daughter- guess what? NO surcharge for linen for the sofa. It’s appalling that Marlin do this as in every other way their service and facilities were excellent. Indeed if they are going to do this- declare it openly at booking- don’t wait till arrival when people have little choice. Don’t advertise an apartment to sleep 4 when you only provide linen for 2 - with no advisory and inappropriate expectations of who/how people should sleep. Poor show Marlin- sort this out and change your policy or your booking system.
I liked Marlin Apartments. The fact that reception is open 24/7 is very helpful. I arrived late but we were able to check in with no issues. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. Thank you for hospitality and kindness.
The apartment is very well located near transportation. The staff, especially Michaela were super nice, professional and willing. My parents loved the fact that they had a full size kitchen. They want to book again for winter when they are visiting me next. Good selection of pubs near the river which is 10 minutes walk away.
