On the good side, the location of this property is excellent. A two-minute walk to the Earl's Court tube stop. The hotel itself though was not pleasant. We stayed for two nights and had no hot water from our shower on either day. We notified staff after the first day and they said they'd look into it. Same thing happened on the second day, we notified them again and the front desk person just kind of shrugged and said "sorry". We stayed in Room 201 which also was not pleasant. It's tiny (about half the size you see in the featured photo on Orbitz) and when you put your head down on the pillow, there is some sort of buzzing sound that stays on all night. Possibly something mechanical near that room. The beds at this hotel are also rock-hard. Another couple who was traveling with us confirmed their bed was the same. Anyway, all in all, not a very comfortable hotel, but in a good location.

This property was a delight! The staff was WONDERFUL. The location is extremely close to Earl's Court underground station and a nice walk from Kensington Palace. The breakfast you can book upon arrival for 10 pounds was huge and well worth it. The only drawbacks were the beds were extremely firm and not very comfortable and the pillows were not comfortable, either. Despite this, I would stay again.

The hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. Some of the reviews on Orbitz were very inaccurate and unfair to the hotel. Everything about the hotel was great and the location was excellent. Two minutes or less ro the Underground and one minute to Earls Court center. This is the first review I've provided of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed in over 50 years of traveling. By far, the best hotel/location combination I've experienced in years.

The hotel was in a great location, with the Earl's Court Underground stop and lots of interesting restaurant choices nearby. The fixtures were quite modern and everything was comfortable. The only problem was that the room I was given (310) had a temperature problem. When I arrived, there were two space heaters running, and the room was exceedingly hot. I unplugged them and got the desk clerk to help me figure out how to open the window, which cooled it off to a reasonable 20 C. But after closing the window, the normal heating system, which was set to 21 C, did not stay on all night, and gradually let the temperature drop, so it was 17 C when I awoke.

Great location out of the busy downtown area in upper class neighborhood. Right around the corner from Earls Court Tube Station so you can get anywhere. Hotel is boutique modern style with a helpful front desk. Fridge gets stocked with water, wine and soft drinks for free every day. Also cell phone available in room for use. They are working on the AC from Sept thru Nov but they have fans in room. I would recommend excellent value for rate. Italian restaurant with bar attached that offers breakfast for purchase.

Very nice and helpful staff. Complimentary drinks and free phone throughout the stay. Very helpful!

This is the second time we have stayed with Hotel Indigo in Kensington. The first room we had was perfect and had plenty of space for us and our luggage. The second time we stayed, the room was quite a bit smaller and it was a little inconvenient to maneuver around our luggage. Other than having a space issue the second time, this is a great hotel and we would stay again if able to get a bigger room.

Our room was small but very clean. One block from tube station as well as several pubs made this an ideal location to stay at. Staff was extremely personable and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be close but not right in downtown London.

Found this hotel on Orbitz.com. It is a hidden gem! Great location and even though the room was compact, we were comfortable. Will stay again.

Excellent location close to earls court underground. Rooms small but well appointed and quiet. No health facilitybon site but have acces to soho gym less than a block away ( better than in hotel gyms!)

Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful when answering our questions about the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room had a few free snacks that we took advantage of. Breakfast was excellent.

The front desk staff was amazing. They were super helpful with our trip. They celebrated my mom's birthday with a card and a small gift when they found out it was her birthday trip. They gave us directions for everything we needed to see and even gave great recommendations. They made a good trip amazing and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Also the location is a three minute walk from the Picadilly line. It is super convenient for travel to most, if not all attractions in the city and is on a direct line from the airport. There's food all around and beer right on the corner. It feels like a safe area to walk in, even late.

A very convenient hotel for travellers to London. Room small but very adequate with a lovely ensuite. Hotel staff very welcoming and helpful, Breakfast choice was excellent.

Nearly always stay near Earls Court and have tried several hotels near the tube station. We have found this to be the most updated and comfortable with friendly, responsive staff. The linens are good quality and the beds are very comfortable. Everything is nearby and the in-room fridge is great for storing items bought at the nearby co-op.

The hotel is very clean and centrally located. The staff was helpful. I did have a problem with the air conditioner and the staff moved me to another room with no complaint. I did miss a bathtub, shower only.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Indigo. The staff was remarkably welcoming and helpful! The hotel facilities were clean and especially quiet while in the thick of a residential neighborhood and within walking distance of major museums. We traveled via the tube which was within blocks of the hotel. Absolutely perfect neighborhood, and delightful experience during our stay!

An excellent hotel -- friendly staff, great location close to Earl's Court tube, quiet (surprising, giving the great location), very good european-style breakfast, restaurant also good. Free wine and beer in the fridge -- what could be better?

Nice Hotel , great location , very pleasant staff ,excellent breakfast , great value for the money. Room was too small . Not for families.

This hotel was perfect for me. Easy trip from Heathrow to Earls Court and the hotel is 2 blocks away. Earls Court gets you right on the District and Piccadilly lines which took me everywhere I wanted to go. Also walked a ton and this wasn't too far away (but have to want to walk). Room was small but I loved it. Super clean with a comfy bed. I used the hotel to sleep. Didn't eat there and when I left in the morning I was gone all day, so it was ideal for me. Very nice staff. I had room 301 which was sort of in between floors 2-3 and once the door was shut I never heard a peep. If you want a clean, comfy, convenient spot and don't need tons of room. It was perfect.
