Situated in the South of London:10 minutes by cab to Battersea park and 20 minutes by cab from Paddington. Standard room and bathroom. Clean and rather quiet. Average breakfast but a very friendly staff.
Great stay again. Good room, well presented and tidy, comfortable bed, and good breakfast. It was quite quiet even though it is next to a busy road. We had no complaints and this is a repeat stay. We would recommend this hotel.
This hotel is in a great location for Battersea Park and West London. Good nearby restaurants and pubs. The hotel does not have an evening restaurant but allows take-away food to be eaten in the dining room . There are a few good local take-aways. We've used a good Chinese one nearby. Very comfy rooms. Good parking and a nearby garage/M&S convenience store. We use it every year. Recommend!!
I've stayed in this hotel quite a lot over the past few years when I pick my friends up from Heathrow and we want a few days in London. I love the location, close to the railway and one of my favourite pubs The Ship is right on the river round the corner. Comfortable and clean stay as always which includes a basic but filling breakfast which is always nice. My one complaint that I have every single time, and I can't quite understand why it hasn't been sorted yet, is that there are no plug sockets next to the bed! It's so frustrating. Most Holiday Inn's have this so I'm not sure why this one doesn't, so please sort this out and then it will be a 5 star visit! A great stay non the less, no other complaints!
We required a wheelchair friendly hotel for 2 nights in order to attend our friend's wedding in Chelsea. This hotel was only a 10 min Uber ride away. The hotel reception checked us in, in a friendly an efficiently manner. The hotel is extremely modern and clean. We were given a room on the ground floor, very spacious and most importantly, was well equipped for a disabled visitor. The bathroom had a shower with a fold down seat and the sink and mirrors were at the correct level for a wheelchair user. The room had a tv, tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board etc. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a full range of breakfast - continental, croissants, fruit, cereals and a hot buffet of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, toast, tea, coffee, juices etc. It was very well laid out and tasted fantastic! There is onsite parking for a small charge. We had a speedy checkout and a really good chat with the reception staff who really made our stay extremely enjoyable (really great German receptionist - apologies but can't recall her name!).
1st time here but use Holiday Inns a lot. This is the same as every other HI Express. It clean, rooms are decent size and there is no bath. Breakfast is simple but adequate. The hotel is only a short walk from Wandsworth town train station, trains there every few minutes into Waterloo so very convenient for London. The area is quite built up residentially so lots of options nearby to go out for dinner. I drove there. Limited number of parking spaces and it was £16 a day which is ok. Overall god hotel and no issue stating there again if I was in area.
Stayed here for three nights on a business trip. Rooms are spacious with a sofa. Free wifi which is great. Breakfast was good but found that there wasn't as much choice as in high Wycombe. Also no fridge in the room which I was kind of expecting. I guess all holiday inn branches have different amenities. Lovely stay overall and pleasant staff. Good location.
My wife booked the wrong holiday inn should have been in Victoria not Wandsworth, really glad she did we had a wonderful stay, place was clean, bed comfy staff friendly and informative. Lovely breakfast included and plenty to do in the area or a short ride on train into the city centre, station is a vert short walk away. Only blackmark for me personally was no ale on tap only lager
We stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights and although they do not offer evening meals they are very helpful about where to go. They staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and very very helpful. They can't do enough for you! The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. The only issue was the toaster was a bit slow! Although you have to pay to park there it is very reasonable. So glad we chose this hotel.
Reception staff were very welcoming, recommended places to eat in the local vicinity. Room was clean and spacious and comfortable, transport was only a short distance away if you wanted to go anywhere. Price was very good for London and had breakfast included, but car parking was extra
