Down market, tired looking uncomfortable room.

Firstly, the host was a lovely guy, he tried his best to be helpful, offered us drinks and seemed genuinely kind. However, we could not stay in the room we booked as it was just awful. It was listed as a guest house but it was more like a downmarket HMO! I don’t understand how the ratings are so high for this property. We were lead through the house (passing the kitchen, it looked as though no one had ever washed up). We were lead through the back garden to what looked like a brick shed with 2 small fanlight windows and a door. The bed bases were not secured together, the furniture was really old and it just felt very downmarket. The toilet was in the smallest room with a sliding patio door. The bathroom fan light window & bedroom fan light window were open but the blinds had to be down for privacy which meant there was absolutely no air flow at all and it was the hottest day of the year. We were given 2 fans but we could hardly breathe in the room! Neither my husband nor I felt at all comfortable, it almost cost the same as a Travelodge/Premier Inn but felt like a pokey little bedsit. I must stress how lovely the host was (not the owner of the property) and he tried to help but we just couldn’t stay so we booked elsewhere and left.

Exceeded expectations. Everything was provided in room. Number of free channels with huge smart TV. Very welcoming staff. Guest House was very clean, very beautiful garden with sitting arrangement to relax. Room was big enough, very comfortable mattress. Had very nice sleep. Will stay again

Perfect & peaceful place to stay to catch flight

Having stayed in many hotels, I say this Guest House is one of the best at budget price. Perfect & peaceful location to catch early morning flight. Spotlessly clean, beautiful en-suite room which is packed with everything we as travellers needed. Huge smart TV that fill the wall with a lot of free channels. Super fast WiFi available anywhere in the property. Our room was independent and next to the beautiful garden. Incredibly kind staff who made our stay amazing. We stayed here before and will stay again.

Very nice room with new and comfortable bed. Guest House is newly renovated, located at peaceful neighbourhood close to city markets with a lot of restaurants, just 3 miles from airport. Great service at budget price and a lot of free amenities. Staffs are incredibly helpful. Our colleagues stayed here before and recommended. It’s favourite place for our staffs. If you’re desperate for a place to stay this place because there is nothing else available near the airport this place offers a cluttered musty bedroom with a soft bed, noisy guests and a shared bathroom. It cost me $330 for one night. It’s a house in a residential neighborhood with loud neighbors lighting fireworks and dogs barking. About 5 miles from the airport which cost me $50 taxi late at night. A morning Uber was much cheaper at $20. The owner of the guest house wanted to charge me for 45 GBP for a ride back to the airport in the morning.
