Do not stay here.

There was an awful smell from the pipes in the bathroom. I paid for a double bed which was 2 singles of different heights pushed together so it was very uncomfortable. The bed did not have a fitted sheet, just a sheet on top which left the sides of the mattress exposed and there was pubic hair suck in the mattress. Do not stay here, there are lots of other hotels in the area.

From the check-in desk to the restaurant and bar, the staff were universally courteous, knowledgable and so very very hard working. An hotel without such staff is just a box. A comfortable box maybe, but a box. The staff at Ibis LHR made it a hotel. Credit to them.

The room was quiet and clean but I needed to do laundry and there was none. I hated having to buy sandwiches and snacks virtually and the breakfast options were expensive and horrible. That said the soup and salad at dinner as well as the fish and chips were quite good. I felt the kitchen staff was highly overworked as the gentleman who was taking orders for food was also having to do several other tasks.
