The hotel was very trendy and in a great location. Rooms were very small and didn’t have garbage cans other than the bathroom. Also air conditioning was very minimal and made for warm sleeping.
Pretty hotel. The beds are very hard, though. The rooms are small, but nice. Wonderful staff.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and generally like it although it is a high price for a small room. The quaint nature of the hotel and it's location has traditionally made it worth it for me. This time however was quite different. I accidentally (my error) booked the wrong two nights (I anticipated losing a night in my flight and in fact did not.) I realized my mistake instantly and as I booked a "non refundable" rate called Orbitz. They were very helpful and contacted the hotel. The hotel asked that someone call back at a time the reservation office was open. Orbitz proactively called the next day and spoke to someone who refused my request to shift my reservation (was not requesting a refund, only that the reservation move one night). I also contacted the hotel and after explaining the situation they expressed some flexibility and then failed to get back to me altogether. I contacted them again and they flatly refused my request with the excuse that it "took me some time to contact them and therefore I should understand." This is bogus for a hotel of this type and expense to be this inflexible. I will not stay there again.

When "non-refundable" bookings are made there is a small window in which the booking can be changed.
