Over many years this quiet and friendly hotel has always been my resting place of choice in London. I am writing this review because the staff as so wonderful and they welcomed me back yesterday like an old friend ( I have come out of retirement and back to work ) I am concerned that by writing the review I will no longer be able to get a room but I have to repay their kindness. The hotel is clean, quiet, stylishly simple and restful for the mind and the eyes. The staff are polite, kind, helpful and calm. I used to stay here for three nights a week almost every week and it is possible to make this hotel a home away from home. There’s tea and coffee, water, hangers, ironing board , iron and hairdryer. Plenty of towels and soap, bubble bath and shampoo. So Sam I could not refuse to write a review because you ALL deserve every success. Thank you for your kind hospitality. The only reason the review isn’t 5 stars is the bathrooms are looking a little tired - especially now the rooms are so lovely- the bathrooms are clean and serviceable and well stocked.

A small clean, comfortable and quiet double room with all amenities you would expect and a good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. I needed a quiet room and an early breakfast as I was having surgery in a local hospital the next day. I rang ahead to explain and chose to stay here as the manager Sam was so sentitive, accommodating and understanding. All requests were happily met and I felt anything the staff could do to help they would. Good value for location, highly recommended.

I stayed in the hotel with my partner for one night earlier this week. We arrived before the check-in time but we were greeted in a friendly manner and it was no problem arriving early. We were given an upgrade to larger beds than I had booked in the twin-bedded room. The room was a bit tight with no chairs (only a stool) but that was a minor inconvenience. It was very clean, pleasantly furnished with plenty of wardrobe space, and a modern wall-mounted TV. My bed was very comfortable, my partner thought hers was a bit too firm but said the pillows were excellent! We both had a good night's sleep. A continental breakfast was included and was certainly adequate with good choices, and plenty of seating in the dining area, with efficient staff. It was possible to have a full English breakfast for about £8. It was possible to make tea and coffee in the room. The only real niggle was a limited supply of coffee/tea - it was necessary to buy extra sachets, etc, from reception although these were ony £1 each. We would still, however, consider staying there again as our overall impression was very favourable and for its central, and convenient, location.

I travel a lot to London for Business so have stayed in a variety of chain and independent hotels. The Blandford was excellent - a cozy, quite room in an excellent location. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Baker Street Underground and there are lots of restaurants and attractions close by. Yes the rooms are a little on the small side but the hotel is lovely and clean with a modern decor. The staff were incredibly friendly - I received a very warm welcome and kind departure. I will definitely be back!

The room was very clean and the size of the room was good. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book this hotel again on my next trip to London.

Great location. Room was small but had all requirements. I found the bed a bit hard for my liking and would have liked a bath sheet rather than small bath towels. Breakfast was lovely and staff helpful and polite.

This hotel is situated well for visiting many London attractions. The rooms are small but laid out well and very clean. We stayed at the front of the hotel which was very noisy and if you live in a quiet area normally its best to have a room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was ok we only had continental.

Business related night out just off the Oxford Street end of Baker Street. The location of the Blandford is great, just a couple of minutes from the Baker Street tube, and a short walk to Regents Park, (and longer walk to Primrose Hill with stunning views across London). Hotel areas, and rooms in particular were clean, tidy, and well kept. Bed was super comfortable. Continental Breakfast was perfect too, wish I'd had time for the full Englished which looked really good.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Very close to Regents Park and Hyde Park. Great service and staff. Quiet - no street noise. Outstanding breakfast included. Great value. My only negative comment is how small the rooms are - I had only about 12 inches on each side of the bed to maneuver in, there is a desk but nowhere to sit, and no room to even pull out the desk drawers all the way. Very small bathroom. I only offer this as a warning though as it does not influence my overall rating. Looking for a good value in this part of London I knew rooms would be very small so it is to be expected.

Travel to London on business frequently and have stayed in both budget and luxury hotels. This little gem was a great find and very reasonably priced. When travelling on business I usually end up spending very little time in my hotel room but do like a certain element of comfort. I booked a single room and although the room itself was on the small size was ideally suited for one person. It looks as though the hotel had recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the the quality of the room was first class. A very comfortable bed, large screen TV, air conditioning, lovely well fitted bath/shower room. I travel by train in to Marylebone and the hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the train station and literally 2 minutes walk from Baker Street where you can access all ares of London with ease. Various local restaurants on the door step and convenience stores all easily accessible. Staff were friendly and accommodating, i checked in early and there was a room available and they were more than happy to look after my luggage after I had checked out. Continental breakfast was very good with an option of full English. First class hotel and will definitely be using again.
