This was a working vacation for me, during my one week stay at the Andaz London Liverpool Street. All I can say, over and over again, is this: The Andaz London Liverpool Street was to a person, Exceptional and Outstanding!! What ever my need or request might have been, the Entire Andaz team, stepped up to address such need and/or desire. Add to that, the outstanding location in the heart of the London Liverpool business district and train station makes this a must location, for both, the business and vacation travelers!!!

ROOM - We had a King room that was huge, quiet and with a lot of light and high ceilings. The bed was ok as all the beds at all Andaz are just ok. Free mini bar, all the amenities you need are on hand or on demand, and bathroom was spacious. STYLE & LOCATION - very nice boutique style inside an old building located perfectly in the biz financial district of City of London near Tower of London, Liverpool tube stop, a Tesco supermarket, SERVICE - Very friendly, efficient and fast. One of the best I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. Please give team manager ALEX a promotion/raise, he went above and beyond to take care of us, even leaving us a surprise Peruvian dessert from a local restaurant (my wife is Peruvian). Plus the manager met us personally to say goodbye upon our departure. Touches like those made our stay very special, memorable and enjoyable. We truly felt cared by the staff which is so rare at today's hotels.

My husband and I stayed here whilst enjoying a wedding at the Gherkin. It was amazing, we stayed in a suite, and the room was huge. Complimentary mini bar, wine and snacks. All we could ask for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bathroom wasn't great, decor awful and wasn't all that clean. But otherwise fantastic, and I would highly recommend, and would definitely visit again!

As we've been traveling all night, it was nice to finally arrive at Andaz. Unfortunately, we had trouble finding the parking garage so it was very frustrating! Toto offered to drive and show us where we should park and advised us on the best way to get back to the hotel. Toto went above and beyond his job responsibilities and for that we are eternally grateful. Our stay was by far one of the best ever!!! We found the service here to be flawless. The rooms were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the beautiful breakfast area each morning. After sight-seeing all day, it was nice to grab a treat in the lobby and head up to our rooms. We look forward to coming back in the near future to see our friends Toto and Ricardo as they always had a warm greeting waiting for us at the door. We will always remember our stay at Andaz, and the people who helped to make it so memorable.

I want to acknowledge the wonderful staff who really made this a five star hotel for us. Amazing atmosphere and environment. Quiet sophistication with so many different styles of architecture and design with in the building complex. I booked this a while ago when trying to find the best luxury hotel I could find at best value as part of a surprise birthday trip to London for our girl on her 12th birthday. We were not disappointed with the choice. From the friendly welcome with an unprompted birthday greeting from the staff at reception to the gifts, personal birthday and delivery of cookies for the birthday girl to our room. We had breakfast included in the rate and again we met with wonderful relaxed but professional staff who engaged with us rather than simply being order takers. The breakfast buffet was top quality with certain dishes being made to order such as waffle and eggs benedict. The smoked salmon was melt in the mouth. Having been advised to visit the Masonic Hall within the hotel unfortunately due to works we were unable to do however the staff really tried hard to accommodate us to the point they said they will send photos to my email for my girl to look at. We spoke with a very friendly staff member (Portuguese but can't remember her name unfortunately) in EastWay when we had a pre bed Cocktail somewhere that was child friendly- once again very accommodating. As we were leaving I took some pictures of my daughter at the entrance for her memory book and Paul who had been trying to help us with the Masonic Hall 'photobombed' much to my daughter's enjoyment and then presented her with his Andaz badge (I hope we haven't got him into trouble!). There was just one thing I needed revising and this was dealt with quickly and professionally with minimum of fuss - always a good sign of a well run hotel. I suspect that in our one night stay with a theatre visit and other activities we didn't make the fullest use of this hotel and it's many services and amenities but what we saw and used we loved. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for helping to complete my daughter's special day. We will return.

I have a very satisfying stay in Andaz London. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. THe reason to choose this hotel is I previous plan to go to Cambridge and Andaz is close to train station-though finally I didn't go. The breakfast service is excellent. It will be my 1st choice of next time when I visit London.

It's a labyrinth of properties all joined up, for instance, a pub, a champagne bat a restaurant. Check in was smooth, the room was comfy, nice bed, There are some space issues (room 170), There is a long desk with a folding mirror, however, when you sit in the chair, a normal person is too tall to use the mirror. Almost better to move the chair which is too big anyway (leaves little space to get round one side of the bed). This was an entry level room but expected a bit more for the price. Excellent breakfast with a big buffet choice and extra items off the menu included (if you wanted). We popped into the pub which had some great beer choices. There are some original Great Eastern touches there (and in some places throughout the hotel). Seating was a bit basic but OK. However, here in lies the problem. We pick these great hotels for a nice place to return to after a night out (theatre, musicals, concerts etc). On this occasion, we went to the World Athletics in Stratford. Having enjoyed the pub earlier, we looked forward to a couple of nice beers before retiring. Problem is, we got back to the hotel and because the pub is open to the public, it was closing it's doors at c11.25. We were ushered to the champagne bar which looks great. Problem is, very limited beer choice. I asked if they had any real ale or craft beer, but no. It is geared towards champagne, wine, cocktails etc. We decided to go for a wander, Liverpool St is lively that time of night, so avoided the "obvious" pubs, just around a corner, only 2 mins walk from hotel is a Fullers pub called The Astronomer. It is a warm friendly inviting place. Great beers! Their last orders was 11.50pm so a couple of great beers and an easy return to the hotel. We then had a lovely end to the evening with some cocktails. In a survey received from the hotel, I mentioned exactly the same as I've done here. I also added a couple of easy solutions to this, either stock a few bottled craft beers / real ales in the champagne bar fridge or, have the bar staff pop to the pub to either pull a pint of get some craft beers if demanded. Anyway, small problems, but a luxury hotel with great, friendly staff.

I stay at this hotel 3-4x per year, and I keep coming back! The staff are very attentive, and my feedback is always taken into consideration and remembered. Rooms are very spacious, quiet, and great bathrooms! The breakfast is fab - amazing choice!! Location is super easy- only 2mins and you're on the tube! I love the complimentary wine hour which is on every evening for guests in the foyer- a very nice touch. Rooms also have a nice complimentary soft drink mini bar which is another lovely touch. I've stayed in both the suites and large guest rooms here- and both are great.

Lovely hotel, fantastic location, I would highly recommend it. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable and quiet. Reception staff were excellent and welcoming. Recognising it was my birthday which was a nice touch.

Pretty hip hotel, I must be getting old. I wasn't sure where to check in! Overall really nice hotel, pretty large hotel as well. The beds were really nice, the room was quite comfortable but not large. One downside was that the outside was a little loud and we could hear the noise inside, but once the bar quieted down it was totally fine. The location was fantastic for walking around, really enjoyed that. The hotel is also extremely well located beside a tube and overground station. There are many restaurants close by, and a few in the hotel that looked quite good.
