Very good location. Especially for shopping. The room is a bit small but the decor ts very tastefully done. The only drawback is that taxis are not allow to enter the street where the hotel is located due to security reason (the hotel is located near the US Embassy).

Beautiful hotel, great staff, close to a plethora of luxury shopping. As it's located near the US Embassy, the street has checkpoints and armed guards--very safe. The Collection Suite was a bit smaller than expected, but still beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds are super comfortable! Drinks at the Bar du Faubourg were pricey, but very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was great - great location to explore all of Paris. Staff was extremely helpful, concierge was outstanding - great recommendations. Room was comfortable, well maintained.

Pluses: Excellent, helpful staff. Excellent location. Minuses: Hotel undergoing renovation with scaffolding and construction workers through 2014. Street is sometimes closed to taxis due to security for the US embassy just down the street. Our junior suite was a non-smoking room where someone had obviously smoked, so the first three days we had to leave the windows open to minimize the odor but then the heating had been turned off and it dropped to 57 degrees at night. My wife commented that there was no full length mirror or dressing table in the suite and the powder room second had no place to hang a hand towel - so someone needs to review the comfort of their guests when finalizing the room details.

Very quiet and totally secure street location guarded 24 hours a day by police because its next door to the US embassy. Best hotel we have ever stayed in.
This was our third hotel in Paris. It was far nicer than the others we stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. The hotel has all the necessary ammenties for a tourist or business person. It is located on the side of the American Embassy, which is convenient for gettig taxis. It is near higher end shopping, however, a 5-minute taxi ride will take you to the Arc D' Triumph, Eiffel Tower, or Louvre.
We arrived early by train from London and only wanted to drop off our luggage, but our room was ready and we were checked in. The room and bath were luxuriously large and much more than adequate. The room was quiet -- in fact we overslept as the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathtub was large and deep -- just the type for a long soak. All spoke English and went out of their way to be helpful. The first concierge we spoke with was not the most helpful -- pushing us off to take tours. Later we had excellent advice and even directions to the candy store that provided the very tasty hard candies on their counter. All in all a great time -- we only regret we hadn't planned to stay longer!
