The room did not compare to the pictures on the internet. The early check in was not ready and seemed to be a problem to the staff although Orbitz sells it that way. I reserved a room with 2 beds and they didn't have one.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was just what we wanted. The room was just as pictured. We had a great experience.
Great area to be in - very walkable neighborhood- nice hotel and decent staff. Would stay at other K+K facilities around the world. Rooms were a bit small but the price was good. Great cheese, chocolate and wine stores in the area.
was just perfect , nice, clean , decent prize, great location, very good breakfast, staff was very kind,
Nice comfortable room with in room facilities including refrigerator. No self serve ice machine or vending machines, but can get ice from bar.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was clean, modern, quiet, had a great air-conditioner and a lovely balcony. We were a short walk to many attractions including the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame to name a few. A longer walk to Eiffel Tower. Lovely area with restaurants and cafes. Nice bar in the lobby and the breakfast buffet (was included) was very good. Would definitely stay here again or in one of their other properties in another city.
Great staff, clean, good food and location perfect
It's me and my husband's first time in paris and this hotel is perfect! Very nice hotel, good staff, great location. Awesome vacation
Hotel is centrally located to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and most of the main museums. Location is great and the neighborhood is busy yet quiet which makes for nice sleeping conditions. Room is very small but bed is comfortable. Breakfast is very expensive and not very good but other than that we would stay there again.
Hotel is in ideal location. It is in walking distance (ranging from to 10-35 minutes) to the most popular tourist attractions; louvre, d'Orsay, notre dame, opera house, Eiffel Tower, Latin quarter. Also, the metro (12 line) is literally across the street which makes it so easy to take the train. Rooms were very clean, bed comfortable, shower spotless and for size, they are larger than your average hotel in Paris. Highly recommend.
This stay was the first time my wife and I had been to Paris. We loved the location of this hotel, which is within easy walking distance of the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, the Rodin Museum, and upscale shopping. Also, a Metro stop is literally across the street. The room itself was tiny, to the point of being reminiscent of a room in a cruise ship. It would be OK for one person, but there was not really enough room for two suitcases. The bathroom was also tiny. On the plus side, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room amenities were adequate, but did not include a refrigerator. Staff at the hotel were friendly. We had one maintenance request for our room that was not promptly addressed; we ended up fixing the problem ourselves. All in all, this hotel was fine but we would not stay there again.
traveled to paris for 1 night and stayed at K+K the beds were not comfortable and the breakfast was nothing special. expensive hotel with not much to offer.
it is a nice hotel but I believe it is really expensive and doesn't have much to offer. our room was really small.
Outstanding staff. Very friendly and speak almost fluent English. Can't beat the location. Would highly recommend. Thanks again.
If you will not rent a car, you would need to have a bike to look around Paris. Although Paris currently has an automated rental system of bicycles, you would be difficult to find the rentable bike. However, just in front of the hotel, there is the big rental system and you can easily get one. You do not need to spend your time to find the bike. Comparing with the same level of hotels in USA, the (original) price of this hotel is extremely high (425 Euro/day) but at least I got a really good deal. If you can also get a good deal for this hotel, I would recommend you to stay here.
We had a triple room for two nights and then two doubles. We love the location of the K and K. Staff is professional and accommodating but also very reserved. Breakfast is good.
great location- right across from the metro and the citibike rack- plus you can walk to musee d'orsay, rodin museum , really just about anywhere. great backery 2 blocks from hotel, with another also 2 blocks- perfect for breakast, lunch ( wonderful tke away sandwiches- then go and eat in the rodin gardens. good recommendations on restaurants, although a bit on the pricey side- we found great ones on our own. only drawback ( and its SO small as to e a non starter) is the staff is used to people who dont walk distances or take the metro anywhere ( much less think you are able to negociate more than 1-2 changes)- once you realize that, and just walk or take the metro as it suits you , its great. but the staff was lovely, remembering us etc. would certainly go back again.
Despite our not speaking French, we were able to communicate easily with the staff from the outset. The hotel's location was great once we realized how easily we could transfer to other train lines, although we still often made the relatively short walk to/from Musee d'Orsay for our trips. The room was small, but very comfortable. The most surprising aspects of the room were the inability to control the heat very well (it was often very warm, even with the window open) and the lack of a fan in the bathroom. The room was always clean. The staff lent us the right adapter for the outlets, gave restaurant recommendations, and even made us a dinner reservation. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was more than we would usually spend, but the convenience of getting the food we wanted and in the portions desired made the cost worthwhile. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel and location for our trip and we would certainly recommend it to others.
While the hotel value was not great overall, the location was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was walking distance from nearly every major site/museum. The free internet service was a plus as well; negatives included the very pricey breakfast buffet - at 28e per person, we decided to pass and eat breakfast at a local brasserie instead.
Great location in st germain. Can walk everywhere from hotel. Also metro stop right across from hotel. Stayed in a triple. Room small, but clean and modern. Beds confortable. Quiet. reception desk adequate, but not friendly
