Well managed, Great location, Eiffel Tower in window view. Friendly staff (Akit) and good restaurant suggestions.

We could not have picked a better place to stay for our 4 nights in Paris! The staff was SO helpful to us as we learned to navigate the city. We were sad to say goodbye! The location is SUPERB. It's a 30-second walk to the St. Georges metro (plus, others nearby) and just minutes via car to both the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations. An adorable cafe is right across the street. Plus, it's just a few blocks from the quintessential Parisian street Rue des Martyrs. In just a few minutes, we were in the middle of dozens of shops and food vendors. On Christmas day, we stopped at 3 patisseries and a cafe in less than an hour just by strolling up this beautiful street. We were able to walk from there to Sacré-Cœur and from there to the Moulin Rouge. It was convenient enough to easily get to all the tourist attractions while also quiet enough for us to be able to open the windows. We were fortunate to be able to book a "family suite" which consisted of two bedrooms with their own bathrooms connected by a private hallway. It was perfect for two couples! The cherry on top was the free snacks and soft drinks, especially considering we were traveling with a type-1 diabetic. The snacks and juice were crucial to keeping his sugar as stable as possible amid all our walking. Not to mention, it was always nice to come back in the afternoon and grab a quick snack to hold us over until dinner. All in all, we are telling all our family and friends about this gem of a hotel!

Great quaint hotel..Not a Hilton but we enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast..I am sure would be hard to beat.

I will give positives and negatives of my experience. The positive is the front desk people were very nice, my bathroom was clean and the 12 line subway station was about 40 yards away. My room was tiny and the air conditioner made a lot of noise and did not work well. The cleaning lady and the people on my floor kept slamming the doors every morning and it usually started about 10 in the morning. I had a hard time sleeping. My bed sheets had stains and they were definitely not from me. The elevator (lift) was incredibly slow and it was frustrating. For some reason, my bathroom did not have a shower curtain and had an 18 inch piece of glass and the glass did not completely block the water when I took a shower and the floor got wet every time. It was a very stupid idea to have an 18 inch wide glass instead of a shower curtain. Also, the secondary lock on my room door did not work and that enabled the cleaning lady to open my door without knocking. I also found the neighborhood St. Georges to be a little dangerous and it had a lot of negative characters in the neighborhood. I would not recommend the hotel and the neighborhood and would definitely recommend another hotel in another neighborhood.

I stayed in the hotel twice and like the location and friendly stuff very mush!

For the price, the Hotel Lorette Opera is a good place to stay for a bed and shower. It is clean and the staff are great. Sidewalk cafes were close and affordable and a great Paris experience. Walk to the National Opera to catch tour buses or to the Moulin Rouge or Cabaret area for shows and restaurants, or take the subway only steps away.
