My mom and I stayed here for 4 nights in October. Location is good. The room was small but comfortable enough. Small fridge was restocked daily with complimentary water, juice and soda. Breakfast was good, everything you need to start your day. The snacks that were available during the afternoon and evening were a nice treat. The price was reasonable for 4 nights. Nothing basically to complain about.
Overall the hotel has all basic facilities, metro station is just walking distance, good restaurants are just 5 mins walk away and ambiance is extremely homely, great value for money, best part is croissant and coffee in the lobby available all day and night after breakfast, breakfast felt like repetitive, quality of toiletries was excellent, Thank you !! :)
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the cutest hotel of our October 2017 European vacation. Excellent location in an adorable neighborhood right near public transit and cute restaurants. Attentive, helpful staff and exceptional amenities. We had a beautiful view from our cozy 3rd floor room! The breakfast offered in their lovely stone cellar is exceptional and they also offer complimentary snacks and beverages from 2pm-2am everyday. You could hear the Metro line from the nearby Saint Georges stop, but the convenience of being that close to a stop is worth it. No air conditioning in October, but it was unseasonably warm during our stay, which is a good problem!
This was our second stay at the Hotel lorette, and again we not disappointed with the overall standard.Firstly, this cute modern hotel is good value for money, and is situated in a central location to all of Paris. The metro station is just across the road, and will take you to the main tourist places within 20 mins easily. Also, you can walk to the department stores of galleries La Fayette/printemps in 15 mins. The breakfast has a good selection of english and continental hot and cold food, and has everything you require and the coffee was excellent. We liked the retro-style breakfast room, which had of plenty of space, and the staff were very polite. The overall standard of the hotel was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were of a good size considering it’s Paris, and had modern decor. Also, this hotel offers free refreshments and cakes/biscuits in the lounge from 2pm, and the reception staff were always helpful. The area around the hotel is charming, with plenty of cafes/restaurants nearby, we used the restaurants around the corner from the hotel the “ no stress cafe” offers a good choice of food, and reasonable. Our 3 days in Paris was so enjoyable seeing all the famous sights, and when we hopefully return to Paris in the future will try and stay here again.
A nice little hotel, very close to the Metro (although the rumble of the trains is slightly noticeable at night) so very convenient to travel anywhere for easy sightseeing. Some simple cafés close by although nothing memorable, but a good walk will take you up to Pigalle where there are plenty of cafés and restaurants, or a slightly longer walk down to Grands Boulevards and lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms are small (this is Paris of course) but comfortable enough and providing a good sleep. The bathroom is tiny of course and with shower-over-bath which I always find uncomfortable. Everything is clean although dated and the wooden floors creak with every step. Air-con works well and the wi-fi is effective everywhere. Breakfast buffet in the basement is excellent with a very good range of food for all tastes. It is very easy to eat heartily enough that it is possible to forego lunch. We so loved the coffee from the capsule coffee machine that we bought one for ourselves when we got home. Being in the low-ceilinged basement makes for a slightly noisy environment but that is minor when balanced against the excellent buffet. The free snacks and drinks in the lobby is an excellent idea and provides a refueling stop in a busy day in the city. That feature is available at all Astotels in the city on production of the hotel card. The staff throughout the hotel are always friendly and helpful even though mistakes can be made. Although we had specified a non-smoking room we were dismayed at the smokiness on our first night. We had been mistakenly checked in to a room on the smoking floor and we were very quickly reallocated to a non-smoking room with a 50% discount for that mistaken first night. Odd though that the fourth floor is the smoking floor and we were moved to the fifth floor and so still had the occasional whiff of smoke from the floor below. But this is Paris where everyone seems to smoke everywhere. We stayed for 7 nights in September and enjoyed the stay very much.
location is very good and staff speaks good English and very helpful and nice. Free soft drinks everyday from the bar fridge is very nice touch. Breakfast buffet is very nice too. However, we didn't really enjoyed our stay there. The room is very tiny, especially the shower is way too small. It's hard for us not to touch the shower curtain when we shower which we found it gross. You can hear the noise from the timber floor when people was walking. And our air con made noise too, my husband had a look of the filter and found it really dirty.
Good ratio quality / price for this hotel located in the center of Paris. The room are comfortable, and the service is also very good. The breakfast is large and very good. You are well located to take metro and RER to visit Paris.
Very good location. 50 meters from metro Saint Georges. Quiet and friendly neighborhood, 10 minutes walk from the heart of the right bank. The staff is service oriented, kind and helpful. Breakfast is generous and the free minibar at the room + free buffet at the lobby are a real treat. Rooms are slightly small, but equipped with everything necessary. Squeaky wooden floor is the only downside we found. Everething else was great. Highly recommended.
This hotel deserves far more than 3 stars, beautiful interior that was spotlessly clean, staff bi lingual and very friendly, breakfast was enormous and very good, a soft complimentary mini bar in room as well as a complimentary coffee machine and soft drinks in the comfy reception area, and cakes, pastries, snacks and sweets put out each afternoon, great location for a trip to Paris, 5min walk to moulin rouge, we visited for a birthday weekend and the hotel organised cake and wine in the room which was delicious and a wonderful gesture. 10 minute taxi ride from the euro star but beware of taxi charges, check before you get in, we were charged 50€ to get there, but the hotel organised our departure for only 20€, can’t praise this hotel enough, it was amazing and we’ll definitely be back x
My traveling companion and I stayed at the Hotel Lorette in September 2017 for a 7 night stay in Paris, based on the recommendations for Astotel properties in Trip Advisor. We fully concur with all the good reviews by the other Trip Advisor reviewers. Hotel Lorette's service, cleanliness, and comfort were all we expected. We highly recommend the hotel with the following caveat. If you are bothered by noise however, please be advised that the hotel is located directly above the Metro tracks, including a curve in the tracks. The lower you are the more you hear the trains, which are quite frequent. The noise is very disturbing for someone like me, who is very much bothered by noises while I'm trying to get to sleep, or just relaxing and watching TV. The only saving grace was that the Metro trains were less frequent after about 11:00 pm, and stopped after 12:30 am (1:30 am on weekends). If you are not bothered by such noise, you will probably quickly adapt and loose awareness of the trains. The only reason I mention this is that the other reviewers seem to omit the train noise in their reviews. That means, of course, that I'm an outlier on this issue. But if you are like me about noise, you will probably want to take it into consideration. Otherwise, I highly recommend Hotel Lorette, especially the astounding breakfast. If I return to Paris, I will definitely consider the other Astotel properties, to get the considerable advantages of the Hotel Lorette without the noise problem.
